Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/10/09) */
We'd like to note that before this complaint was made, we spoke with Ms*** and had come to an amicable resolution for both partiesWe would like to take time to address Ms***'s concernsWe should explain that we are an online
resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersThis fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue."
We find it difficult to understand why Ms*** believed she was purchasing tickets directly from the ***The above disclaimer and our branding clearly show that we are not affiliated with any venue or other ticket marketplaceAnd, while Ms*** takes issue with the fact that the prices of her tickets exceeded those advertised by the venue, our sales terms clearly state that prices may be above face valueFurthermore, our checkout process gave her multiple opportunities to examine the full details of her order
When Ms*** selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the service and delivery fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded textMs*** was then directed to review our terms and conditionsvisible in a text box below this order totaland presented with the bolded message "All sales are final." At this point, she was also presented with the message "I agree to the sales terms and conditionsI have reviewed the Order Summary above," and a check box that she needed to click to continue with checkoutBelow this check-box, another message was displayed that, in Ms***'s case, read: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged the total amount, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." This notice was followed by a button labeled "Place Order." When Ms*** clicked this button, she signified her acknowledgement of the total price and these terms, and completed her order
Our sales policies, including our "all sales are final" policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase processfrom a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message "All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." Additionally, all sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer refundsWhile we understand Ms***'s frustration, she was made aware of this fact, and made an educated, conscious decision to purchase tickets from our site
As we mentioned above, we have reached a resolution with Ms***If Ms*** would like to discuss this matter further, we welcome her to contact a member of our management team

Thank you for your responseAlthough Mr*** continues to press forward with this matter, as we previously clarified, the ticket listing and the order summary clearly state "each" in accordance with the price listedAdditionally, the order total of $was sufficiently displayed in bold text in multiple locations before he placed this order. In regards to the tracking of Mr***'s tickets, an email was sent to the address on file on 4/22/This email provided the *** tracking number of ***As verified by this tracking information, Mr***'s tickets were delivered on 4/25/at 12:PM to the shipping address he provided at the time of checkout. As we have sufficiently addressed Mr***'s concerns, we consider this matter closedAny additional concerns he may have regarding his order can be directed to our customer service team.Regards,Tickets-Center

Placed an order for 4 tickets and NEVER EVER received anything from them. No contact information, website is bare without any clear information, discovered that I apparently purchased ticket protection insurance that I didn't chose to purchase. They also overcharge an arm and a leg for a ticket, by almost 100%. AVOID THEM!!!! No tickets, no refunds, no nothing. Will be calling my credit card to claim my money back from these shady people.

This company intentionally excludes order details as far as the fees included with the purchase, and skips the "order review" step in order to deceive the buyer. I (more than) frequently purchase items online and have never had information excluded the way this was. For this reason, I thought the next page I was going to be directed to would be an order-review page where they list everything included, but instead it submitted the order. This should count as fraudulent or illegal. Unacceptable and I will NEVER recommend this site to anyone.

font-style: inherit; border: 1pt none windowtext;">Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. Ms. [redacted] has stated that she believed she was purchasing through the website of the venue, or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and branding are distinctly dissimilar from those of any other site. Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, “We display secondary market tickets. Not affiliated with any box office or official website.” Also on every ticket listing and checkout page it states, “Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site is not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.”

When Ms. [redacted] selected her tickets in Section: Main Floor Center Row** for a [redacted] event on 12/26/16 and navigated to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bold text as “Total Charge $293.50.” Ms. [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. Directly below this, in bold text, the message “By clicking ‘Place Order,’ your credit card will be charged $293.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees” was displayed to Ms. [redacted] Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Ms. [redacted] stated that her tickets were not delivered after placing her order; this should be noted as inaccurate. Ms. [redacted] placed her order on 10/14 at 11:57 AM CST and her order was then confirmed by the seller at 12:02 PM. The tickets Ms. [redacted] selected in Section: Main Floor Center Row: [redacted], were delivered at 12:03 PM to the email Ms. [redacted] provided at checkout.

As a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The prices of tickets on our site are set by the individual ticket sellers, not Tickets-Center, in accordance with their assessments of a range of market factors such as customer demand. Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that sellers are notified as soon as an order is placed, and we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

As Ms. [redacted] valid tickets have been delivered, prior to her event taking place on 12/2/16, we consider this matter closed. If Ms. [redacted] has any other questions or concerns regarding her tickets, or would like her tickets delivered to an alternative email address, we encourage her to reach out to our customer service team to assist her.

Tickets-Center

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the concerns of our valued customer, Mr. [redacted] We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace. This means that we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate...

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly at the top of every ticket page on our website, the following message is displayed: "Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value." This information is repeated on the checkout page, where it states, "We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD." Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual ticket sellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. This policy is described in detail in our terms and conditions and during checkout, where the following message is displayed in bold text directly above a box that customers must check to authorize the purchase: "I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above." This information messages was clearly visible to Mr. [redacted] throughout the purchase process. Additionally, immediately above the Place Order button, the following statement was presented in bold text: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $1,052.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. Regarding Mr. [redacted]'s statement about the performer's delayed arrival at this event, it should be noted that as a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any performer or venue. As such, any last-minute decisions regarding rain delays or event start times are made entirely at the discretion of the venue and are, therefore, beyond our control and purview. These stipulations were clearly stated in the terms and conditions that Mr. [redacted] agreed upon before submitting his order. Specifically, the following was stated: "Event date, times, venue and subject matter may change. We are not always notified if a show is postponed, rescheduled or cancelled. It will be your responsibility to monitor the event and to confirm any changes to the event with the entity putting on the event. In certain instances, a venue, promoter, or any entity putting on the event will require a ticket holder to relocate his or her seat. COMPANY shall not be held responsible for any such change and will not be obligated to provide a refund or any other compensation." While we share in Mr. [redacted]'s frustration that this concert was delayed due to inclement weather, it must be noted that he is not due a refund for this transaction. Tickets-Center has fully adhered to the terms and conditions to which Mr. [redacted] agreed prior to completing his purchase. Additionally, in the interest of customer service Tickets-Center has reached out to our customer and offered a courtesy resolution to this matter beyond what is included in our 100% Money Back Guarantee. Mr. [redacted] accepted this resolution, but has continued to dispute the transaction with his financial institution. Because of this dispute, we are unable to provide any further resolution at this time. If Mr. [redacted] would like to discuss a resolution to his concerns or if he has any further questions, we encourage him to reach out to our customer service team. As it stands, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Tickets-Center

We guarantee tickets will be delivered prior to our customer’s events. Additionally, our sales terms state that our provider “reserves the right to deliver tickets for any order as late as one (1) hour prior to the event.” Ms. [redacted] event took place on 2/18/2017 at 7:00 PM MST and her valid tickets were delivered at 3:21 PM MST to the email address on file. Ms. [redacted] then contacted us the following day, after her event, stating that she did not receive her tickets. At this time, a customer service manager clarified that her valid tickets were delivered the previous day to the email on file. At Ms. [redacted] request, the manager resent the tickets to the same email confirming the address was valid. The manager also offered Ms. [redacted] with a one-time courtesy resolution stepping outside if the agreed to sales terms; however, Ms. [redacted] declined this offer. As Ms. [redacted] was delivered her valid tickets prior to her event, and her event has since passed, we consider this matter closed. transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Although our customer has claimed that information regarding the resale marketplace was not easily visible, the top of every event listing page clearly states, “We display secondary market tickets. Not affiliated with any box office or official website.” Once an event is selected, customers navigate to the ticket listing page, the top of this page reiterates, “A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.”Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for PBR - [redacted] they were directed to the checkout page. Here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and continued to the checkout page. On this checkout page customers are presented with a complete itemized breakdown of their order on the left-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $414.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Below this total our customers are displayed the message, “Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD.” Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Our customer was then required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms. Directly above the "Place Order" button, the order total was reiterated in bold text stating, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $414.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Additionally, the name on the ticket is simply information from the primary issuer that gets carried over when tickets are resold. This is a common occurrence in the industry and tickets are completely transferable. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Our customer placed their order on 5/8/2017 and received their valid tickets on 5/9/2017. Our customer later downloaded their valid tickets on 5/18/2017 and 5/19/2017 prior to their event on 5/20/2017. As our customer received their valid ticket prior to their event and all information surrounding the nature of their purchase was adequately disclosed, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.Regards,Tickets-Center

Thank you for your response regarding the concerns of our valued customer, Ms. [redacted]. As previously noted, Ms. [redacted] was presented with an itemized breakdown of her ticket prices and fees, along with the total cost, prior to checkout. After Ms. [redacted] selected her tickets, she continued to our checkout page, which displayed all costs in an itemized list of Ticket Subtotal, Service Charges, and the appropriate shipping charge, followed by the Total Charge in bold text. Directly under this itemization, Ms. [redacted] was presented with the bold-text message: "Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD." In reference to Ms. [redacted]' claim that she mistook our website for that of [redacted] or of the venue, it must be noted that every ticket page on our website displays the message: “Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value."Ms. [redacted]' tickets were successfully delivered and signed for on 6/24/2016, well in advance of the event. As such, Tickets-Center maintains that we have fully adhered to the sales terms and conditions which Ms. [redacted] agreed to prior to purchase. If Ms. [redacted] has any further concerns regarding this order, we encourage her to reach out to our customer service department. As is presently stands, we consider this matter closed. Regards,Tickets-Center

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event listing page clearly states, “We display secondary market tickets. Not affiliated with any box office or official website.” Once an event is selected customers navigate to the ticket listing page, the top of this page reiterates, “A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.”Our customer has stated that they believed the price per ticket was in fact their order total to which we would like to provide clarification. Throughout the checkout process, our customer was presented with the price per ticket; the price of $162.00 that was mentioned by our customer was never referenced as the order total. On the ticket listing page, our customer selected a listing which specified, “Section: [redacted] Row: *, Expected Ship Date: 9/1/2017, $167.00 each.” Once our customer selected this listing, they navigated to a review page and were prompted to enter an email address. Mr. [redacted] then proceeded to the checkout page which displayed an in-depth itemi*ed breakdown including the price per ticket, all fees, and his order total of $402.95 in bold text. Mr. [redacted] was then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Mr. [redacted] was then required to select a check box signifying his agreement to these terms. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. This information is displayed throughout the checkout process from a notation on the top of every ticket listing page to the checkout page stating, “Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.Mr. [redacted] expressed concern regarding the expected delivery date of the tickets. This information was provided to him prior to placing his order. Furthermore, the Estimated Ship Date is selected by the individual seller of the tickets and is often dependent upon the primary issuer, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. This date is provided to customers as an estimated date for when tickets are expected to become available. Nevertheless, it is common for tickets to become available prior to the listed date. In Mr. [redacted]’s case, though his tickets were given the Estimated Ship Date of 9/1/2017, the primary issuer released tickets prior to the provided date and Mr. [redacted]’s valid tickets are currently out for delivery and expected to be delivered on 4/25/2017; prior to his event in September. Additionally, Mr. [redacted] received an email on 4/22/2017 with a tracking number so that he may monitor the delivery process. Prior to receiving this claim, we thoroughly addressed all of our customers concerns. As Mr. [redacted] was provided all order details prior to placing his order, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.Regards,Tickets-Center

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/23) */
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Mr. [redacted]'s concerns. We should explain that we are an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own...

or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue."
While we understand that Mr. [redacted] believed he was purchasing tickets directly from the Hippodrome Performing Arts Center, the above disclaimer and our branding clearly show that we are not affiliated with any venue or other ticket marketplace. And, while Mr. [redacted] takes issue with the fact that the prices of his tickets exceeded those advertised by the venue, our sales terms clearly state that prices may be above face value. Furthermore, our checkout process gave him multiple opportunities to examine the full details of his order.
When Mr. [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, he was directed to review his itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the service and delivery fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded text. Mr. [redacted] was then directed to review our terms and conditionsvisible in a text box below this order totaland presented with the bolded message "All sales are final." At this point, he was also presented with the message "I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above," and a check box that he needed to click to continue with checkout. Below this check-box, another message was displayed that, in Mr. [redacted]'s case, read: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $331.95, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." This notice was followed by a button labeled "Place Order." When Mr. [redacted] clicked this button, he signified his acknowledgement of the total price and these terms, and completed his order.
Our sales policies, including our "all sales are final" policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase processfrom a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message "All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." While we are typically unable to cancel any orders, the seller that fulfilled Mr. [redacted]'s order has since allowed us to cancel the sale as a one time courtesy, and we have been able to provide Mr. [redacted] with a full refund. As Mr. [redacted]'s desired resolution has been met, we consider this matter resolved. We encourage Mr. [redacted] to reach out to a member of our management team if he has any further questions or concerns.

I am rejecting this response because: The company offered me a refund of $35 for my troubles.  I did not accept the $35 refund and requested that I immediately receive the tickets as they have received the payment in full. The representative advised that the "seller" would release them to the company and forwarded to me on or before September 24.  At no time did I say I was satisfied with the resolution. After our discussion on September 12, I looked at my receipt again and found that the "seller" is committed to procuring my tickets after my order is confirmed, however the seats may not be in the same zone or selection listed on the receipt and could be in a comparable zone.  A purchase of 4 or more tickets may mean the tickets are split up. If I read this correctly the "seller" was not in possession of the tickets and they were "hoping" that they would get my selected area and therefore when I sent my email at 7:13 on Sept 7 my transaction could have been cancelled. At 7:58 pm on Sept 7, my purchase was confirmed by the company. At this time I don't know if my tickets were in the section and row I believed I was getting.  I have spoken to the Norsk Hostfest organization and they advised when an individual purchases tickets from their official site and choose the email option they are delivered immediately to their email. They also advised that if the tickets we mailed to an individual they would be an actual printed ticket and therefore if the ticket is scanned and emailed to me they would not guarantee the tickets. They did ask that I bring the tickets in so they can tell me if they will honor them as well as when they were purchased by the ticket number. The will also be able to know who sold the tickets. They are aware of the price the "seller" charged as well as the fees associated with the purchase. They are a non profit organization and it is unfortunate that "sellers" are profiting in this way. Unfortunately, everyone is out to make a quick buck. I know it is illegal in most states to sell tickets above face value at the venue...not sure why it is legal to essentially scalp tickets on line. I would like my tickets to be sent to me immediately.

Sincerely,
Donita [redacted]

Somehow when we clicked on the link to [redacted] Theater purchase tickets link, we were directed to Tickets-Center.com. The tickets were 10 times what they would have been if purchased on the theater website. This was for a music appreciation course my daughter is taking at [redacted] College and was something she had to do immediately. I don't know how they hijacked the link, but we were on the purchase ticket page of the theater so, my daughter thought we had no choice but to get the tickets. I can't get a refund even though I contacted Tickets-Center less than a hour later after I re-checked the theater site.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not call about an incorrect date. I called about the fact that the ticket prices were misrepresented and totally over inflated.
Yes, I made a mistake, because I did not read the fine print, but this company totally is ripping off customers and charging 4 Xs the cost of tickets that can be found on line for the retail prices.  I truly thought I was buying 4 tickets for $50 each. Not 4 tickets for 254 each.  I do feel that the website misrepresented the value of the total cost.
see reviews on this website.

Also - [redacted]r and other ticket sellers offer a 24 hour refund for these types of situations. I called within 3 minutes of seeing the summary and was denied any type of refund. This is a scam.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Thank you for reaching out to us. We value our customers at Tickets Center and although we have already reached an amicable resolution regarding Ms. [redacted] issue, we would still like to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Tickets Center is an online resale marketplace, which means...

we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. In regards to Ms. [redacted] claim that she did not purchase this tickets, it should be noted that our site can only receive an order if placed by a customer using a verified credit card. When Ms. [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded text. Ms. [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box below this order total—and presented with the bolded message “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. During this process, Ms. [redacted] saw an even more in-depth order summary that displayed the number and prices of their tickets, delivery and service fees, and the total charge. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Additionally, all sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer refunds. As noted above, we have been in contact with Ms. [redacted] regarding this issue and have been able to reach an amicable resolution. Our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that Ms. [redacted] may have; as it stands, we consider this matter resolved.Regards,Tickets Center

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/03/20) */
As a one time courtesy, our management team has given Ms. [redacted] a refund of $347.95, exceeding the desired resolution of her Revdex.com complaint. The refund was submitted on 3/20/15, and may take 7-10 business days to process. We consider this...

matter resolved.

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this matter. At Tickets-Center, we value...

our customers and appreciate the opportunity to address this matter. Tickets-Center is a secondary ticket marketplace, meaning that we are not affiliated with any artist or venue; rather, we simply facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. While we do not own or generate any tickets, we do process thousands of successful orders each day—and each order is given the full protection of our 100% Money Back Guarantee. This guarantee ensures that any tickets purchased on our marketplace will be valid for entry to the event—and that if tickets are found to be invalid, the customer will receive a full refund. As part of our commitment to maintain this high standard, we carefully screen each seller to ensure that their listings are legitimate and distributed properly.
However, because the hundreds of sellers on our network process thousands of orders each day, errors do occur in some extremely rare cases. After investigating this matter, we have determined that Mr. [redacted] order was one such case. Tickets-Center has been in contact with Mr. [redacted] and both parties have found an amicable resolution. As such, this matter has been resolved, and we hope that Mr. [redacted] will consider Tickets-Center for his future event ticket needs. If Mr. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns regarding this or any other order, we welcome them to contact a member of our customer service team.
