Prior to Ms*** filing this complaint, she contacted us and we attempted to resolve this matter outside the scope of our terms and conditions as a once time courtesyThis complaint arises out of our denial to completely bypass our policies
and provide a full refundWe take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms***'s concerns and our policiesWe should explain that the company is an online ticket exchange, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersThis means the largest portion of any order total goes to the seller and so we must instate a service charge to cover our operational costsThese facts are clearly explained in our sales terms
When Ms*** selected tickets she was taken to our checkout pageShe was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the service and delivery fees, the price per ticket and the total price in bolded textMs*** was then directed to review our terms and conditionsvisible in a text box below this order totaland presented with the bolded message "All sales are final." At this point, she was also presented with the message "I agree to the sales terms and conditionsI have reviewed the Order Summary above," and a checkbox that she needed to click to continue with checkoutBelow this check-box, another message was displayed that, in Ms***'s case, read: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $282.95, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." This notice was followed by a button labeled "Place Order." When Ms*** clicked this button, she explicitly agreed to the total price and these terms and completed her order
Our sales policies, including our "all sales are final" policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase processfrom a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message "All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." We must enforce this policy since all sellers on our site are notified immediately when an order for their tickets is placedMs*** was made aware of this fact before she purchased tickets from our siteAs the event date has passed and Ms*** downloaded the tickets in advance and we reached, what we believed to be a final resolution prior to this complaint, we view this matter as closed at this time

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meHowever I want it made clear that I still dispute the ethical practices of ticket centerI also hold true to my belief that I was never shown a final sales price until after my purchase was finali*ed. I did receive the tickets on 4/as ticket center statedMy girlfriend had not told me they had arrived so for that claim I do apologi*e. To ticket center I sincerely hope you consider changing your incredibly unethical business practicesDo not ever count on my business or the business of anyone whom I am close enough with to advise against doing business with you.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not call about an incorrect dateI called about the fact that the ticket prices were misrepresented and totally over inflated.Yes, I made a mistake, because I did not read the fine print, but this company totally is ripping off customers and charging Xs the cost of tickets that can be found on line for the retail prices. I truly thought I was buying tickets for $eachNot tickets for each. Thank you for your response regarding this matterThough Mr*** continues to press forward, as we previously mentioned, we are unable to cancel his order due to the agreed upon terms during checkout. Mr*** expressed concern regarding the delivery of his tickets to which we would like to provide clarificationWhen Mr*** selected the tickets he was interested in located in Section: Row: D, there was a message displayed stating that the estimated In-Hand Date for these tickets were 5/21/via email deliveryDue to the nature of our business, this date is set by individual sellers and is often dependent upon the primary market's release of the tickets, with which Tickets-Center has no affiliation. This information was clearly presented to Mr*** before he submitted his order. As we previously stated, we offered Mr*** with a resolution, stepping outside of the agreed upon terms in an effort to reach a resolution, though Mr*** has declined this offerAs such, we believe we have adequately addressed Mr***'s concerns and at this time we consider this matter closed. I am rejecting this response because:I thought I was buying from *** directly Their *** search made it look like I was.The total cost, until cost, possibility that you would pay above market price for tickets and no refund policy/disclaimer was not clearly stated.No refund policy is unacceptable This is how they catch people with unclear policies/pricing even through I called the same day for a refund.These tickets are only each at ***, I paid each plus in FeesThis is price gouging.The offer to rectify this issue with the manager was off a future ticket purchaseOffering a small credit towards a future inflated ticket price is not an offer to help at all Just a future high ticket price sale for them.All is want is a refund.Regards,***

verified to ensure the transaction has been authorized by the card holder. As Ms*** stated, we received an order placed by a Ms*** Ms*** order was stopped by our fraud departmentUpon review by our internal fraud investigation team it was determined that that we were unable to proceed with processing the order due to security reasonsAs we were unable to verify that this was an authorized transaction, Ms*** order was cancelledIt should be noted that Tickets-Center reserves the right to cancel and refund an order at any time for any reason, per our Terms of UseAs Ms*** order was never confirmed, her credit card was never charged; rather there was a hold on this account for the total amount which is eventually removed.As Ms*** was never charged for this order, we consider this matter resolvedIf Ms*** or Ms*** has additional concerns regarding the hold placed on the account when the order was placed on 2/24/2017, we encourage them to contact the financial institution with which the order attempted to be placed with.Regards,Tickets-Center

One of the responses from this company was "our branding is intentionally different from those of other sites". This company intentionally paid to have their site at the top of the Google list to deceive customers. I typed a search for "Barenaked Ladies Mesa Amphitheater" and their site was at the top of the list. Here is the initial page that was shown after clicking:

The venue is displayed next to the artist and is misleading to customers. Please Revdex.com follow these links to investigate and shut this business down! Any honest company would refund an unhappy customer immediately with a timely dissatisfaction complaint. Even when purchasing a car or home the customer has an appropriate amount of time to request a refund. Refund my money if you truly believe you are an honest company!

It's difficult to understand why Mr*** believed he was purchasing tickets directly from *** Brands *** because the above disclaimer and our branding clearly show that we are not affiliated with any venue or other ticket marketplaceAnd, while Ms*** takes issue with the fact that the prices of their tickets exceeded those advertised by the venue, our sales terms clearly state that prices may be above face valueFurthermore, our checkout process gave him multiple opportunities to examine the full details of his order
