Tickets-Center.com Reviews (296)

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this matter to our attention. At Tickets-Center, we...

value our customer and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: “We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue.”

In regards to Ms. [redacted] claim that the order total for four tickets was actually the amount of the price per ticket, it should be noted that when Ms. [redacted] selected her tickets, she was provided multiple opportunities to view the price per ticket as well as the order total prior to completing her purchase. Once she selected her tickets, she was taken to our checkout page. From there, she was directed to review the itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price in bolded text. Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. During this process, Ms. [redacted] saw an even more in-depth order summary that displayed the number and prices of their tickets, delivery and service fees, and the total charge.

Ms. [redacted] concern about the delivery of her tickets is resolved as they have been delivered by [redacted] to her provided address. Prior to this complaint, Ms. [redacted] contacted our customer service department to notify us that she mistakenly purchased tickets for the incorrect date and was requesting a refund. She spoke with a customer service supervisor, who explained our policy and attempted to reach a resolution that was suitable to Ms. [redacted],however, she rejected this resolution. If she wishes to pursue this resolution or has any additional concerns, our management team is available to speak with her; as it presently stands, we consider this matter closed.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/07/28) */
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Mr. [redacted]'s concerns. We should explain that we are an online resale marketplace, which means we do...

not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue."
While Mr. [redacted] takes issue with the fact that the prices of his tickets exceed those advertised by the venue, our sales terms clearly state that prices may be above face value. Furthermore, our checkout process gave him multiple opportunities to examine the full details of his order.
When Mr. [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, he was directed to review his itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the service and delivery fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded text. Mr. [redacted] was then directed to review our terms and conditionsvisible in a text box below this order totaland presented with the bolded message "All sales are final." At this point, he was also presented with the message "I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above," and a check box that he needed to click to continue with checkout. Below this check-box, another message was displayed that, in Mr. [redacted]'s case, read: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $87.50, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." This notice was followed by a button labeled "Place Order." When Mr. [redacted] clicked this button, he signified his acknowledgement of the total price and these terms, and completed his order.
Our sales policies, including our "all sales are final" policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase processfrom a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message "All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." Additionally, all sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer refunds. While we regret Mr. [redacted]'s frustration, he was made aware of his order total, this fact, and made an educated, conscious decision to purchase tickets from our site.
While there has been no error on our behalf, in the interest of customer satisfaction, a member of our management went outside of the agreed upon sales terms and conditions by offering to waive the entirety of the service fee assessed on Mr. [redacted]'s order. Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] declined this offer and pursued a chargeback with his financial institution who ultimately sided in our favor. As Mr. [redacted] authorized this purchase at the point of sale and downloaded the tickets emailed to him, we consider this matter resolved. However, If Mr. [redacted] would like to accept our original offer or has any further questions or concerns; we welcome him to contact us.
Thank you

I did accept their offer. I should have accepted it when they first offered it to me.

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this matter to our attention. This fact is noted on the checkout page with the statement: “Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD.”Additionally, as a secondary marketplace, Tickets Center is not directly affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. The prices of tickets on our site are set by the individual ticket sellers, not Tickets Center, in accordance with their assessments of a range of market factors such as customer demand. This means that ticket prices can fluctuate at any time, and sellers are notified as soon as an order is placed. This practice is disclosed and made transparent throughout our website and the order process. We have been in contact with Ms. [redacted] regarding this issue and have been able to reach an amicable resolution. We hope Ms. [redacted] enjoys her event and we encourage her to reach out to us if she has any additional concerns; as it currently stands, we consider this matter resolved.Regards,Tickets Center

"Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit; border: 0px;">Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms. Yoon’s [redacted]. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.

Ms. [redacted] stated that she never received tickets; this should be noted as inaccurate. Ms. [redacted] placed her order on 9/23/2016 at 3:26 AM CST for tickets to Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra – Brahms in Section: Orchestra Row: X. She then received her valid tickets via email at 8:58 AM CST. Ms. [redacted] then contacted us at 9:24 AM CST stating that she could no longer attend her event and wished to cancel her order. However, when Ms. [redacted] placed her order she was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the bold message “All sales are final.” Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout.

Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

Ms. [redacted] contacted us again on 11/05/2016 at which time her tickets were resent to the email address on file prior to her event the next day. In addition to this complaint, Ms. [redacted] also filed a dispute with her financial institution regarding this transaction. We have addressed this, and the dispute was ultimately ruled in our favor. As Ms. [redacted] received her valid tickets in Section: Orchestra Row: X Seat: 10-12, and the event took place on 11/06/2016, we consider this matter closed.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/12) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept their response, feel they should show a complete breakdown of the entire purchase so that the Revdex.com can see exactly how inflated the prices were for these tickets, and would still like a refund of $200. The people sitting around us that actually had better seats than we did, paid much less for their tickets. I would also like to know the actual name of your company as this was not fully stated on my credit card invoice. I will never do business with this company again, and I will certainly discourage anyone I know to not do business with them as well. The table we sat at had four of six empty seats, and we basically paid for the other four empty seats as well as the two seats we used. Disgraceful. I can see why this company has had many complaints posted on the Revdex.com site in the past. "Tickets May Exceed Face Value" is just another term for "Scamming." I expect to see full disclosure of the itemized bill to prove we were scammed, along with the name of this company so others can avoid using them in the future.
Final Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2015/06/12) */
After researching this company and reading many complaints about all the scamming they have done and continue to do to people, I just want to know how long they can continue to do this until they are shut down. This company keeps getting away with overcharging more and more people every day. What else can be done to shut them down? This is disgusting.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2015/06/22) */
As indicated in our previous reply, Ms. [redacted] was made fully aware of the nature of her purchase and our site during the purchasing process. We assure Ms. [redacted] that she was shown the same checkout page that is clearly displayed to all our customers. In addition to clearly displaying our disclaimer that "Ticket prices may exceed face value," customers must explicitly agree to our terms and complete each part of the process; failure to do so prevents the order from being completed. And so, while we are sorry for Ms. [redacted]' frustration, we must enforce this policy and cannot issue a refund. We now consider this matter resolved.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. address and branding are distinctly dissimilar from those of any other site. Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, “We display secondary market tickets. Not affiliated with any box office or official website.” Also on every ticket listing and checkout page it states, “Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site is not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.” When Ms. [redacted] selected her tickets in Section: Main Floor Center Row** for a [redacted] event on 12/26/16 and navigated to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bold text as “Total Charge $293.50.” Ms. [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. Directly below this, in bold text, the message “By clicking ‘Place Order,’ your credit card will be charged $293.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees” was displayed to Ms. [redacted] Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Ms. [redacted] stated that her tickets were not delivered after placing her order; this should be noted as inaccurate. Ms. [redacted] placed her order on 10/14 at 11:57 AM CST and her order was then confirmed by the seller at 12:02 PM. The tickets Ms. [redacted] selected in Section: Main Floor Center Row: [redacted], were delivered at 12:03 PM to the email Ms. [redacted] provided at checkout.  As a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The prices of tickets on our site are set by the individual ticket sellers, not Tickets-Center, in accordance with their assessments of a range of market factors such as customer demand. If Ms. [redacted] has any other questions or concerns regarding her tickets, or would like her tickets delivered to an alternative email address, we encourage her to reach out to our customer service team to assist her. Regards, Tickets-Center

At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and appreciate this opportunity to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. Ms. [redacted] has stated that she believed she was purchasing through the website of the venue, or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our web address and branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means that we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly across the top of every event page on our website it states, We display secondary market tickets. Not affiliated with any box office or official website." After Ms. [redacted] selected the event she planned to attend, she was shown the following message at the top of the ticket listing page: "Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value." Additionally, after selecting the tickets she was interested in, the following message was presented to Ms. [redacted] in large print: "Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD."
Ms. [redacted] has also noted a difference between the price of her tickets and the price printed on the tickets themselves. As noted above and in numerous places throughout our website and checkout process, ticket prices on our website are not based on the primary market--or face value--of the tickets, and may be higher or lower than that original amount. This is because tickets are owned and priced by individual sellers, not by Tickets-Center, in accordance with those sellers' assessments of various market factors such as customer demand.
Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned by individual sellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer cancellations and must adhere to an "all sales are final" policy—a standard throughout the industry. This policy is disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”
With regard to Ms. [redacted] statement that the tickets she received for the concert within the fair did not include admission to the fair itself, we would like to clarify that while this is true, this was an error on the part of the seller. Tickets-Center requires sellers to provide all necessary materials for the customer to be able to attend the event, and we reached out to Ms. [redacted] prior to the event to rectify this error on the part of the seller. However, we were unsuccessful in reaching her. Since receiving this complaint, we have further reached out to Ms. [redacted] several times in an effort to provide a resolution to this matter, but have been unable to reach her. If Ms. [redacted] would like to discuss a resolution to this matter, or if she has any additional questions or concerns, we encourage her to contact our customer service team. At this time, we consider this matter closed.

Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and appreciate this opportunity to address Mr. [redacted] concerns. noted that our website address and design are intentionally different from those of any other sites. Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means that we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.Because Tickets-Center operates on the secondary market, our company does not determine prices for tickets. Therefore, prices are not based on the purchase price printed on the tickets and may be higher or lower than that original amount.Regarding Mr. [redacted] claim that this information was not presented clearly, it must be noted that this is inaccurate. In order to be highly transparent with our customers, we state this information on every ticket and checkout page of our website. Before Mr. [redacted] wife selected any tickets, the following message was displayed across the top of the ticket listing page: "Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value." Additionally, Mr. [redacted] wife was shown the following bold, large-print message before entering any payment information: "Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD."The valid, authentic tickets were delivered to the purchaser's email address moments after the transaction was completed on 11/20/15, and the customer has since downloaded them. As such, Tickets-Center has fully adhered to the terms and conditions to which Mr. [redacted] wife agreed prior to purchase. Additionally, in the interest of customer service we have reached out to Mr. [redacted] and his wife and have reached a resolution to this matter that is amicable to all parties. Therefore, this matter has been resolved, and we encourage the customers to reach out to us with any further questions or concerns they may have.Regards,Tickets-Center

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
What you have said in your response was not truthful. The tickets I clicked on did not say 12/18/16 or I would not have purchased them. I told you that when I called. Thank you for refunding me $14.95 for shipping but under the circumstances below, it doesn't help much.
On Monday I had to call ticket sales to speak to a real person. I was then quoted ticket prices for the same section orchestra by [redacted], $277.00 when I paid $790.00 to add insult to injury.
If you think your new business will be successful by taking advantage people on the internet that are trusting you like I did, it won't be long until you are out of business. I'm sorry for all the others you have treated this way.
Blessings,
Sharon [redacted]

Directly above the Place Order button, Mr. [redacted] was displayed his order total again with the bold message, “By clicking ‘Place Order,’ your credit card will be charged $480.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees.” Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Mr. [redacted] expressed concern regarding the validity of his tickets. Every order placed with Tickets-Center is protected by our 100% Money Back Guarantee which ensures customers they will receive their valid tickets prior to their event. In relation to Mr. [redacted] delivery of tickets, his Estimated Ship Date of 6/4/2017 was displayed prior to placing his order. This date is set by sellers and is often dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets. However, tickets are typically delivered in advance to the given date. Our site is user-driven meaning no order can be placed without the customer having been presented with their order summary and agreeing to our sales terms. As such, we consider this matter closed. If Mr. [redacted] has any additional concerns regarding his order, we have notated his order to be directed to a customer service manager once his order number is entered and all contact information, including email, is available on all correspondence. Regards, Tickets-Center

inherit; border: 0px;">Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the concerns of our valued customer, Mr. [redacted] We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly at the top of every ticket listing page on our site it states, "Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value."

Because we are a secondary marketplace, all tickets listed on our site are owned and priced by individual sellers, not by Tickets-Center, based on those sellers' assessments of changing factors such as customer demand. This means that the price is not based on the tickets' original price, or face value. It also means that the largest portion of any order placed in our marketplace goes directly to the seller; the service and delivery charges are the only proceeds that go to Tickets-Center.
Based on a range of factors, the service charge covers all of our operational expenses, from payroll for the in-house customer service center to the cost of finding resellers and verifying that their tickets are authentic and valid. It also funds our software development and industry-leading website security, enabling us to keep transactions secure--and provide the support of our 100% Money Back Guarantee. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”
In reference to Mr. [redacted] claim that the insurance policy he purchased would only cover the cost of the tickets' original price, it must be noted that this is inaccurate. Neither Tickets-Center nor the insurance company is made aware of the original, or "face" value of the tickets. This price is inconsequential to our business, since we operate on the secondary market. The "ticket price" noted by the insurance company refers to the price Mr. [redacted] paid for his order, minus any fees.
Mr. [redacted] has also expressed his dissatisfaction with other aspects of the insurance policy he purchased. As stated on our website, insurance is available through a separate company. When Mr. [redacted] was presented with the opportunity to add ticket insurance to his order, the following message was displayed: "Terms, conditions and exclusions apply, learn more. Plans underwritten by [redacted] Company or [redacted] Insurance Company. [redacted] Service Company is the licensed producer and administrator of this plan.. Insurance billed separately through [redacted] Global Assistance." After being shown this message, Mr. [redacted] opted to add insurance to his order. Tickets-Center is unable to provide comment on any dissatisfaction with this separate company. However, in reference to his claim that the policy was not disclosed until after the purchase was complete, it should be noted that this is incorrect. Our checkout page contains a link to view the entire policy prior to the customer choosing to add the insurance.
Tickets-Center operates our own customer service department which is available to resolve any and all issues that our customers may encounter, with contact information on our webpage and all correspondence. We encourage Mr. [redacted] to utilize this resource for any additional concerns; as it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

Tickets-Center

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:One of the responses from this company was "our branding is intentionally different from those of other sites".  This company intentionally paid to have their site at the top of the Google list to deceive customers.  I typed a search for "Barenaked Ladies Mesa Amphitheater" and their site was at the top of the list.  Here is the initial page that was shown after clicking:https://barenaked-ladies.tickets-center.com/search/mesa-amphitheatre/ba... the next:https://barenaked-ladies.tickets-center.com/tickets/mesa-amphitheatre/baren... the next:https://secured.tickets-center.com/checkout/checkout4.action?productionId=2... policies of this company are NOT CLEARLY stated or easily visible.  The venue is displayed next to the artist and is misleading to customers.  Please Revdex.com follow these links to investigate and shut this business down!  Any honest company would refund an unhappy customer immediately with a timely dissatisfaction complaint.  Even when purchasing a car or home the customer has an appropriate amount of time to request a refund.  Refund my money if you truly believe you are an honest company!
Sincerely,
Sadie [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that their site is misleading but that there is no way to rectify the issue any further.  I am not a satisfied customer and will not use your services or suggest that other use the services in the future, however legally there is nothing that can be done to fix the issue now, and their customer service department is unwilling to work with a customer in anyway.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

sans-serif, "Helvetica Neue", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit; border: 1pt none windowtext;">Thank you for reaching out to us in reference to the concerns of our valued customer, Ms. [redacted]. We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter.

Ms. [redacted] has stated that she believed she was purchasing through the website of the venue, or of the event itself. However, it should be noted that our branding is intentionally different from those of any other site. Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. At the top of every ticket listing page it states, “Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site is not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may exceed face value."

Ms. [redacted]’s stated the amount printed on her tickets, or "face value," differed from the price listed, this is a common occurrence on the secondary marketplace and notated clearly on our website. Since Tickets-Center does not own any tickets, all ticket prices on our site are set by the sellers and may differ from the face value. This fact is explained clearly throughout the checkout process, from a notice on every ticket page to the sales terms summary displayed at checkout, which states: “We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD.”

Ms. [redacted] placed an order for tickets to a Peter Wolf event which was scheduled to take place on 11/15. Before Ms. [redacted] submitted this order, the delivery method was clearly listed as Special Delivery and disclosed all pertinent information describing this method. Prior to this purchase Ms. [redacted] was also notified that comprehensive instructions would be delivered at a later time. On 10/26 Ms. [redacted] received the specific instructions regarding this secure transfer.

Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.

Ms. [redacted] was provided sufficient information regarding the secondary market, special delivery, and her order total prior to entering any payment information. As such, we consider this matter closed and encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact our customer service department with any additional concerns she may have.

Regards,

Tickets-Center

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate...

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. And yet while Tickets-Center does not own or generate tickets, we carefully screen each seller to ensure that their listings are legitimate and delivered properly. In the highly rare event that we receive a report of tickets not being delivered, Tickets-Center acts quickly to address the matter. On the night of Ms. [redacted] event, she notified us of an issue retrieving her tickets at will call -- though the tickets were available under her name, she stated that the venue was requesting additional information from her before releasing the tickets. After retrieving the accurate details from the individual seller we attempted multiple times to contact Ms. [redacted] to provide that additional information. However, we were unable to reach her by phone. Prior to receiving this complaint, we had already attempted to come to an amicable resolution with Ms. [redacted]; however, she declined and instead opened a dispute through her financial institution. This issue is now being resolved through that formal dispute process; we are unable to provide a resolution to this matter outside of that formal process. If Ms. [redacted] has any questions about that process or its outcome, we encourage her to contact her financial institution. Regards, Tickets-Center
