Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Prior to contacting Revdex.com I tried to speak to Ticket-Center.com customer service department and explain the situation but like I stated they didn't want to hear what I had to say.  They just kept saying their script over and over not letting me even comment against what they were saying.  Personally they don't have any type of customer service.  The take advantage of those who use their site without proper notification.  Their site is fraudulent and you can see by other responses and comments to Revdex.com, they are listed as a scam. I should have been more diligent on reading all the fine print.  Like I said though I thought I was purchasing through Ticketmaster.com who I have purchased many event tickets in the past  I had no clue that the amount they were charging was $275 for ticket when on the events website it listed lawn/general admission was $55 per ticket.  Due to belonging to venues email list I was given  pre-order authorization from [redacted].Currently I don't have those funds for that type of purchase and all I am asking is to have my money refunded back to my card.  I have several personal issues going on right now and now am paying overdraft fees for a charge I didn't authorize.  I'll even pay a restocking fee if necessary.
Sincerely,
Jacqueline [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Your response, while factually correct, does not address my complaint.  The warnings you mention are all in small print ona crowded website, clearly disguised next to a :Money Back Guarantee" in much larger font.  Also, your website was disguised as http..[redacted]   leading customers to believe that they are entering the side associated with the venue.  Clearly the website addressing was done by design, but I just checked nowand you have changed the addressing of your website; cheap stunt.  You clearly and intentionally mislead your customers, which is unacceptable.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this matter to our attention. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Mr. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate...

tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As a preliminary matter, we would like to clarify that no misleading information was provided to Mr. [redacted] or his wife. Tickets-Center operates as an independent business though we coordinate with a service provider which is a separate entity; as such, this entity operates under a different name. Further detail pertaining to this is available on the Privacy Policy page of our site.Mr. [redacted] has indicated that we claim to be affiliated with an official venue; this is inaccurate. At the top of every event listing page it states, “We display secondary market tickets. Not affiliated with any box office or official website.” After selecting an event, Mr. [redacted] was directed to the ticket listing page for [redacted]. The top of every ticket listing page reiterates, “This site is not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.” This fact is also reiterated on the Order Summary and Checkout page stating, "Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value" was presented below the itemized order summary. In relation to Mr. [redacted] concerns regarding the face value of his tickets, we would like to provide clarification. As a secondary marketplace, all tickets are owned and priced by individual sellers, not Tickets-Center. The price sellers select is based on their assessments of a range of factors, one of which is customer demand. This fact is stated throughout the checkout process. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Customers are required to select a box signifying their agreement to these policies to be able to place their order.Though Mr. [redacted] has indicated that we misrepresented ourselves, this information was readily available prior to having placed the order. Additionally, a customer service manager thoroughly addressed these concerns with his wife when she contacted us on 2/24/2017. At this time she stated that her husband has already purchased tickets to this event to which we clarified our policy in addition to offering a courtesy resolution. This offer was made in the interest of customer service as Tickets-Center has fully adhered to the sales terms presented, and agreed upon, prior to purchase. This offer, however, was not accepted. As Mr. [redacted] was provided sufficient opportunity to review the nature of his purchase, agreed to our sales terms, and we have attempted to resolve, we currently consider this matter closed. If Mr. [redacted] or his wife have additional concerns, we encourage them to contact our customer service to discuss.Regards,Tickets-Center

Thank you for contacting us in regards to the concerns of Ms. [redacted] We appreciate the opportunity to speak on this matter. Tickets-Center operates on the secondary market, which means we do not own or generate tickets as a primary box office. Instead, we merely facilitate transactions between...

ticket buyers and ticket sellers. To this end, we are committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining a simple, transparent checkout process. It should be noted that though Ms. [redacted] filed this complaint, our records indicated that Mr. [redacted] placed the order.Ms. [redacted] has stated that she was unaware her tickets were being purchased through a resale market, though we would like to provide clarification. Our website is distinctly unique from other sites as we have no affiliation with any venue. Mr. [redacted] was notified multiple times throughout the checkout process that he was purchasing tickets through a resale market. Mr. [redacted] navigated our website and viewed a ticket listing page for Toby [redacted]. Directly at the top of this page it was stated, “A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.” After he selected a listing for four tickets, he continued to the Checkout page that reiterated this information as stated, “We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value.”  In regard to Ms. [redacted] claim that she was not sufficiently notified to the price she was paying we would like to provide clarification as all ticket and pricing information is clearly displayed throughout the checkout process. After selecting his desired listing, Mr. [redacted] was directed to review an order summary and prompted to enter an email address. Once an email was entered he proceeded to the Checkout page. On this page, Mr. [redacted] was directed to review an itemized breakdown of all order details, including the price per ticket of $275.00, all fees, and the total charge of $1,306.95 in bold. This complete breakdown of all pricing details was presented prior to entering any payment information. After Mr. [redacted] input all necessary billing and shipping information, he was displayed with the message, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD),” in bold text. Mr. [redacted] was required to select a check box that signified his agreement to our sales terms and conditions relating to his order. No order can be placed without the customer authorizing their agreement to the presented terms. Directly above the Place Order button, Mr. [redacted] was presented with the bold message, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $1,306.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." After this order was placed on 3/7/2017, Ms. [redacted] contacted us to discuss this order at which time we thoroughly discussed this information. Ms. [redacted] received her valid tickets via email the same day for her to print and bring to her event that is scheduled to take place on 6/9/2017. As we have adequately addressed these concerns, we consider this matter closed. If Ms. or Mr. [redacted] have any additional concerns, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department.Regards,Tickets-Center

Thank you for your response regarding this matter. Though Ms. [redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, Tickets-Center maintains that all pricing and order details were adequately presented prior to entering any payment information. As we previously clarified, our website clearly states that we are not affiliated with any artist or venue on every page of the checkout process. After Mr. [redacted] selected tickets for Toby [redacted], he was given ample opportunity to review all of his order details, including ticket and pricing information prior to entering any payment information. The Checkout page also directed him to review our sales terms and conditions where we notify customers of our “all sales are final” policy.Mr. [redacted] placed his order on 3/7/2017 and shortly after, received his valid ticket prior to his event. Since our previous response we have received a dispute from Mr. [redacted] credit card company. Due to the nature of the dispute process we are unable to provide a resolution while the dispute remains open. If Mr. or Ms. [redacted] have any questions regarding the process or outcome of the dispute we encourage them to contact the entity with which it was filed. As we have adequately addressed Ms. [redacted] concerns, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Tickets-Center

We went to what we thought was the venue email address and was rerouted to this website to purchase tickets. We purchased 2 tickets for [redacted] and there were no indications this was a 3rd party seller. Tickets cost $819.00 for 2 and the face value is 139.50. We immediately called and were told they could do nothing and they had items all over the site indicating it was a 3rd party seller. Absolutely not. They wanted to give us a $100.00 purchase toward a new purchase and I was adamant we would not do business and we would dispute the charge. In addition to the our seats are still showing up on line as available. This business is an utter sham and should be shut down by [redacted] or the real companies that sell tickets. I also think someone should get involved in investigating them for redirecting website. It seems that there is some sort of fraudulent activity that they should be prosecuted for.

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Ms[redacted] has indicated that our “all sales are final” policy was not adequately displayed; this should be noted as inaccurate. After Ms[redacted] selected the listing she was interested in for the production of “Monica,” she navigated to our checkout page. Ms[redacted]d was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bold text. Below this order summary, the message, “All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations” was displayed. Ms[redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Though Ms[redacted] has indicated that this information may be hidden, this statement is presented in bold text above the “Place Order” button. At this point, Ms[redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout. Ms[redacted] also expressed concern regarding the price she paid for her tickets. As a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. This means that all tickets listed on our site are priced by individual sellers, not Tickets-Center. This price is based on the individual sellers’ assessments of a range of factors including customer demand. This fact is also stated throughout the checkout process from a notice on the top of every ticket listing page and again on the checkout page stating, “Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value.” Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. As this information was sufficiently displayed to Ms[redacted] prior to placing her order, and thoroughly discussed with her after, we currently consider this matter closed. Should Ms[redacted] have any additional concerns regarding her order; we encourage her to contact our customer service. Regards, Tickets-Center

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. While we do not own or generate any tickets, we do process thousands of successful orders each day—and each order is given the full protection of our 100% Money Back Guarantee. This guarantee ensures that any tickets purchased on our marketplace will be valid for entry to the event—and that if tickets are found to be invalid, the customer will receive a full refund. As part of our commitment to maintain this high standard, we carefully screen each seller to ensure that their listings are legitimate and distributed properly. However, because the hundreds of sellers on our network process thousands of orders each day, errors do occur in some extremely rare cases. After investigating this matter, we have determined that Mr. [redacted] order was one such case. Tickets-Center has been in contact with Mr. [redacted] and both parties have found an amicable resolution. As such, this matter has been resolved, and we hope that Mr. [redacted] will consider Tickets-Center for his future event ticket needs. If Mr. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns regarding this or any other order, we welcome them to contact a member of our customer service team.Regards,Tickets-Center

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: when I went to Janus live the ticket sight opened. The intent was to purchase tickets fromJanus live. Again this site did not detail that they were second and as such I reject and will pursue legal action against this company. Clearly should be illegal to mislead customers in believing they were the the venues website. I have informed Janus live of this issues as well. Corruption should not be allowed from companies like this. This site did not detail the actual cost of tickets, which are half the price and still available fromJanus live. My intent to purchase these tickets was from Janis live for face value not as second hand.
Sincerely,
Roger [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and while I totally disagree with what Tickets Center claims, I accept that they will do nothing about it.  So there is no need to continue the back and forth disagreement.  I just taught my 17 year old a valuable lesson that you can't trust a company such as this to do the right thing.  This company is nothing more than a scalping company that I hope one day everyone will see them for what they are.

tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Though Ms. [redacted] has indicated that this information is not clearly displayed, this fact is noted on every ticket listing and checkout page. On the top of every ticket listing page is clearly specifies “A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site is not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.” Additionally, our web design is intentionally different from that of other sites. When Ms. [redacted] selected tickets and navigated to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bold text. Below this order summary, Ms. [redacted] was presented with the message, “Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD. Tickets purchased in a single listing will be seated together, unless otherwise noted by the seller.” After selecting a payment method, Ms. [redacted] was given the option to select or decline ticket insurance. In regards to Ms. [redacted] order, no insurance was obtained. Ms. [redacted] was then required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. Once a listing was selected, our customer was directed to the checkout page; here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, price per ticket, and number of tickets the customer has selected. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and continued to the checkout page. On this checkout page customers are presented with a complete itemized breakdown of their order on the left-hand side. This breakdown further detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $582.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Our customer was then required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms. not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page with the statement "This site not affiliated with any venue.  Tickets may be above face value." In regards to [redacted] claim that the order total was higher than what was presented when she selected tickets, it should be noted that When [redacted] was selecting tickets a disclosure was displayed at the top of the page that stated "This site not affiliated with any venue.  Tickets may be above face value." Once tickets were selected they were taken to our checkout page, they were directed to review their itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded text. Within the order summary there is a note that states "We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value." [redacted] was then directed to review our terms and conditions—visible in a text box below this order total—and presented with the bolded message “All sales are final.” At this point, [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. After checking the box and clicking “Review Order” they are taken to the checkout page which features an even more in-depth order summary that displays the number and prices of their tickets, delivery and service fees, and the total charge. As a secondary marketplace, Tickets Center is not directly affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. All tickets listed on our site are owned and priced by individual sellers, not Ticket Center, based on those sellers' assessments of changing factors such as customer demand. This means the price is not based on the tickets' original price, or face value, and may change at any time. Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Additionally, all sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer refunds. It should be notated, that [redacted]'s selected [redacted] delivery and her tickets will ship prior to her event in accordance with out guarantee. We have been in contact with [redacted] regarding this issue, and as a courtesy we offered a partial refund outside of company policy which she did not accept. If [redacted] as any questions, our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that she may have.Regards,Tickets Center

THEY COMPLETELY scammed me as a new ticket buyer. I had NO idea they were a scam and the whole business is modeled in such criminal intent I am surprised they still are in operation.

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event listing page clearly states, “We display secondary market tickets. Not affiliated with any box office or official website.” Once an event is selected customers navigate to the ticket listing page, the top of this page reiterates, “A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.”Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory. All tickets listed on our site are owned by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center. Although our customer has indicated that information pertaining to rescheduled events was not stated, this is inaccurate. On the final checkout page customers are required to select a check box agreeing to the terms and conditions and they are presented with the bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” This fact is also reiterated regarding rescheduled events, “All sales are final. There are no refunds, exchanges or cancellations. If the event is postponed, tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.” Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Further information concerning rescheduled and cancelled events is available on the Policy portion of our site.Prior to receiving this claim our customer reached out in reference to their order. At this time, we clarified this information. Our customer received their valid tickets immediately after placing their order on 12/6/2016. As these tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date, we currently consider this matter closed. Should our customer have any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to contact our customer service team.Regards,Tickets-Center

Thank you for your response regarding the concerns of our valued customer, Ms. [redacted].

As previously noted, Ms. [redacted] was presented with an itemized breakdown of her ticket prices and fees, along with the total cost, prior to checkout. After Ms. [redacted] selected her tickets, she continued to our checkout page, which displayed all costs in an itemized list of Ticket Subtotal, Service Charges, and the appropriate shipping charge, followed by the Total Charge in bold text. Directly under this itemization, Ms. [redacted] was presented with the bold-text message: "Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD."

In reference to Ms. [redacted]' claim that she mistook our website for that of [redacted] or of the venue, it must be noted that every ticket page on our website displays the message: “Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value."
Ms. [redacted]' tickets were successfully delivered and signed for on 6/24/2016, well in advance of the event. As such, Tickets-Center maintains that we have fully adhered to the sales terms and conditions which Ms. [redacted] agreed to prior to purchase. If Ms. [redacted] has any further concerns regarding this order, we encourage her to reach out to our customer service department. As is presently stands, we consider this matter closed.

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this matter. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and appreciate this opportunity to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. Ms. [redacted] has stated that she believed she was purchasing through the website of the venue, or of the event itself. However, it...

should be noted that our web address and branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means that we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly across the top of every event page on our website it states, We display secondary market tickets. Not affiliated with any box office or official website." After Ms. [redacted] selected the event she planned to attend, she was shown the following message at the top of the ticket listing page: "Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value." Additionally, after selecting the tickets she was interested in, the following message was presented to Ms. [redacted] in large print: "Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD."Ms. [redacted] has also noted a difference between the price of her tickets and the price printed on the tickets themselves. As noted above and in numerous places throughout our website and checkout process, ticket prices on our website are not based on the primary market--or face value--of the tickets, and may be higher or lower than that original amount. This is because tickets are owned and priced by individual sellers, not by Tickets-Center, in accordance with those sellers' assessments of various market factors such as customer demand.Because our customers are purchasing tickets owned by individual sellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer cancellations and must adhere to an "all sales are final" policy—a standard throughout the industry. This policy is disclosed throughout the purchase process—from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”With regard to Ms. [redacted] statement that the tickets she received for the concert within the fair did not include admission to the fair itself, we would like to clarify that while this is true, this was an error on the part of the seller. Tickets-Center requires sellers to provide all necessary materials for the customer to be able to attend the event, and we reached out to Ms. [redacted] prior to the event to rectify this error on the part of the seller. However, we were unsuccessful in reaching her. Since receiving this complaint, we have further reached out to Ms. [redacted] several times in an effort to provide a resolution to this matter, but have been unable to reach her. If Ms. [redacted] would like to discuss a resolution to this matter, or if she has any additional questions or concerns, we encourage her to contact our customer service team. At this time, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Tickets-Center

web address and branding are intentionally different from those of any other site. Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, “Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site is not affiliated with any venue. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD.” She then navigated to the checkout page which reiterated this once more. Ms. [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. Below this a message in bold was presented to Ms. [redacted] stating, “By clicking 'Place Order,’ your credit card will be charged $306.95” prior to placing her order. With regard to Ms. [redacted] statement that her tickets differed in price from the primary-market, or "face," value, it should be noted that this is a common occurrence in our industry and notated throughout the checkout process. As the tickets are owned by sellers, the prices are set at the discretion of the individual ticket sellers—not by Tickets-Center—based on their assessments of various market factors such as customer demand. Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. We have discussed this thoroughly with Mr. and Ms. [redacted] and prior to receiving this complaint we offered Mr. [redacted] a resolution that would be amicable to both parties. However, Mr. [redacted] declined our offer. As such we consider this matter closed and encourage Mr. and Ms. [redacted] to contact our customer service team with any additional concerns. Regards, Tickets-Center

I am rejecting this response because:I was not informed that the business was a reseller. Had I known that I surely would not have proceeded the transaction.I never received the ticket. 'All sales are final' message was not clear enough to me. And the business's claim of calling that as 'industry standard' seems propostrous. Please refund my $608.95 for the tickets I never saw or used.
Sincerely,
Sohyang [redacted]
