Tickets-Center.com Reviews (296)

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this matter to our attention. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Mr. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate...

tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Mr. [redacted] stated that he believed the price per ticket was his order total for four tickets; however, throughout the checkout process the price per ticket is clearly listed. When Mr. [redacted] navigated our site, he viewed listings for Jim Gaffigan. The top of this listing page noted, “This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.” Mr. [redacted] selected a listing specifying, “Section: Plaza * Row: ** Email Delivery by 8/22/2017 $235.00 each.” Once this listing was selected, Mr. [redacted] continued to the Checkout page. Here customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and the quantity selected. Mr. [redacted] was prompted to provide an email address and continued to the checkout page. On this checkout page Mr. [redacted] was presented with a complete itemized breakdown of his order on the left-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge $1,118.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Mr. [redacted] was then presented with the sales terms and conditions, including our “all sales are final” policy which was stated in bold text. Mr. [redacted] was required to select a box signifying his agreement to this. Directly above the "Place Order" button, the order total was reiterated in bold text stating, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $1,118.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" and Mr. [redacted] proceeded to place his order. As a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; instead, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holders. This means that every ticket listed on our site is priced by an individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments of multiple factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. As Mr. [redacted] placed his order on 2/24/2017, agreed to the total charge and our sales policies, we consider this matter closed. Mr. [redacted] valid tickets were delivered on 3/2/2017 prior to his event 8/26/2017. If Mr. [redacted] has any additional concerns regarding his order we encourage him to contact our customer service department.Regards,Tickets-Center

inherit; border: 0px;">Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this matter. At Tickets-Center, we appreciate the opportunity to address the concerns of our customer, Ms. [redacted]. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.
Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Our sales policies, including our “all sales are final” policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process and displayed at checkout with the message “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).”
When Ms. [redacted]'s daughter selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bold text. Ms. [redacted]'s daughter was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box below the order total—and presented with the bold-text message “All sales are final.” At this point, she was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and checked a box signifying her agreement with this statement.
Ms. [redacted] has claimed that her daughter made this purchase without the consent of the cardholder.  While we appreciate that the charge is not one that Ms. [redacted] expected, Tickets-Center has acted consistent with its terms and conditions throughout the process.  Tickets-Center has reached out to Ms. [redacted] multiple times in an attempt to discuss a resolution to this matter, but has been unsuccessful in reaching her.As it stands, this matter has been resolved.
Regards,
Tickets-Center

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/09) */
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted]'s concerns. We should explain that we are an online resale marketplace, which means we do not...

own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplace. Prices may exceed face value. This site is not owned by any venue."
While we understand that Ms. [redacted] believed she was purchasing tickets directly from [redacted].com and suggests that her belief arose from her use of her mobile device, the above disclaimer and our branding clearly show that we are not affiliated with any venue or other ticket marketplace and therefore would have appeared on Ms. [redacted]'s phone. While Ms. [redacted] notes the fact that the prices of her tickets exceeded those advertised by the venue, our sales terms clearly state that prices may be above face value. Furthermore, our checkout process gave her multiple opportunities to examine the full details of her order.
When Ms. [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the service and delivery fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded text. Ms. [redacted] was then directed to review our terms and conditionsvisible in a text box below this order totaland presented with the bolded message "All sales are final." At this point, she was also presented with the message "I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above," and a check box that she needed to click to continue with checkout. Below this check-box, another message was displayed that, in Ms. [redacted]'s case, read: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $802.55, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." This notice was followed by a button labeled "Place Order." When Ms. [redacted] clicked this button, she signified her acknowledgement of the total price and these terms, and completed her order.
Our sales policies, including our "all sales are final" policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase processfrom a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message "All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." Additionally, all sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer refunds.
While we regret Ms. [redacted]'s frustration, she was made aware of this fact, and made an educated, conscious decision to purchase tickets from our site. We are also confident that she will have no problem using her tickets. Each purchase on our site is backed by a 100% money back guarantee assuring the validity and authenticity of all tickets on our platform. If Ms. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I disagree with [redacted]'s representation that it was clear that I was purchaing tickets from a 3rd party site. It was not clear at all and had I known, I would not have purchased them. At all times, I believed that I was purchasing them from [redacted]. I did not know that I was purchasing from a resale site. This is a deceptive practice as demonstrated by the sheer number of complaints filed against [redacted]. In addition, the substantial fees tacked on is unsconsiconable.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/06/22) */
As stated in our previous reply, the branding presented to Ms. [redacted] clearly shows that we are a third party site, with no affiliation with any venue. While MS. [redacted] assumed she was purchasing tickets through [redacted], the we have no affiliation with the [redacted] brand. Ms. [redacted] was in no way misled about the nature of our site, or her purchase.
While we are disheartened with Ms. [redacted]'s continued dissatisfaction, we are unable to meet her desired resolution. We consider this matter resolved, but encourage Ms. [redacted] to reach out to a member of our management team if she has any further questions or concerns.

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. The top of every event listing page clearly states, “We display secondary market tickets. Not affiliated with any box office or official website.” Once an event is selected customers navigate to the ticket listing page, the top of this page reiterates, “A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.”Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for a production of “The Bodyguard,” they were directed to the checkout page. Here customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and continued to the checkout page. On this checkout page customers are presented with a complete itemized breakdown of their order on the left-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $385.50 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Below this total our customers are displayed the message, “Please note: We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD.” Customers are then presented with our terms and conditions, including a bold message which clarifies, “All sales are final. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” Our customer was then required to select a check box signifying their agreement to these terms. Directly above the "Place Order" button, the order total was reiterated in bold text stating, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $385.50 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and do not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. In regards to the name printed on the ticket, this represents the original purchaser from the primary market. This information is simply carried over when tickets are resold on the secondary market allowing the tickets are completely transferable. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer via email to address all of their concerns. We maintain that all order details as well as the nature surrounding their purchase was sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.Regards,Tickets-Center

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I still am not happy at all the way this is handled! I know what was in your contract and have never gotten tickets online before and never will again if this is what I run into. The seats that have been issued to me are not good seats and there are plenty more available seats than what this company says because I went directly to the theater and checked. I won't continue any further with this because I'm sure your company has this all figured out legally or you wouldn't be in big business! I will never refer your company to anyone and will give you poor references as that is about all I can do! I can only hope that some day someone with more pull and money can fight businesses such as yours and run you out of business! Very poor!
I don't care what your clauses and contract say when you refuse to give customers money back that pretty much says what kind of business you people really run!
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/09/16) */
We assure Ms. [redacted] that she was shown the same checkout page that is clearly displayed to all our customers. In addition to clearly displaying our disclaimer that "Ticket prices may exceed face value" on the left side, this page presents a detailed order breakdown that includes all fees, the price per ticket, and the total charge in bolded text. This total is later restated directly above the "Place Order" button, and below a notice explaining that "all sales are final." As indicated in our previous response, customers must explicitly agree to our terms and complete each part of the process; failure to do so prevents the order from being completed. And so, while we understand that Ms. [redacted] is frustrated, we must enforce this policy and cannot issue a refund. If Ms. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us.

As stated in numerous places on our website, this guarantee ensures that all tickets will be valid and authentic, and that they will arrive in time for the event. It also ensures that the customer will receive excellent customer service, and that their transaction will be secure. This guarantee does not provide for cancellation of an order at will, as we are still locked into a binding contract with the seller of the tickets on behalf of the customer. This information was provided to Ms. [redacted] multiple times prior to checkout, and was also detailed to her via phone by our customer service agent.Ms. [redacted]'s valid, authentic tickets were delivered to her within seconds of her order being placed, and she has since downloaded them. As such, Tickets-Center has fully adhered to the terms and conditions to which Ms. [redacted] agreed prior to purchase, and has upheld our 100% Money Back Guarantee. If Ms. [redacted] has any further questions or concerns she would like to discuss, we encourage her to reach out to our customer service team. information is of the utmost importance, as such, Tickets-Center has an entire department dedicated to verifying that every transaction is authorized by the card holder. Ms. [redacted] order was placed on 12/12/2016 at 7:50 PM CST for a Lionel Richie with Mariah Carey event. As we were assured that Ms. [redacted] authorized this order, she immediately received her valid tickets. Ms. [redacted] then contacted us on 12/13/2016 at approximately 11:25 AM CST, after confirming personal information with which her order was placed, she stated that she did not intend to place this order. At this time, our agent explained that our site is user-driven meaning no order can be placed without the customer having agreed to our sales terms. To clarify, after selecting tickets in Section: Floor Right, Row: 1, Ms. [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box—and presented with the message in bold “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms. [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkout. font-weight: inherit; font-style: inherit; border: 0px;">o us regarding the concerns of our valued customer, Mr. [redacted] We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace. This means that we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly at the top of every ticket page on our website, the following message is displayed: "Tickets not guaranteed to ship immediately. A service fee is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value." This information is repeated on the checkout page, where it states, "We are an independent resale marketplace. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Prices in USD." Since customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual ticket sellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry.
This policy is described in detail in our terms and conditions and during checkout, where the following message is displayed in bold text directly above a box that customers must check to authorize the purchase: "I agree to the sales terms and conditions. I have reviewed the Order Summary above." This information messages was clearly visible to Mr. [redacted] throughout the purchase process. Additionally, immediately above the Place Order button, the following statement was presented in bold text: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $1,052.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees.

Regarding Mr. [redacted]'s statement about the performer's delayed arrival at this event, it should be noted that as a secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any performer or venue. As such, any last-minute decisions regarding rain delays or event start times are made entirely at the discretion of the venue and are, therefore, beyond our control and purview. These stipulations were clearly stated in the terms and conditions that Mr. [redacted] agreed upon before submitting his order. Specifically, the following was stated: "Event date, times, venue and subject matter may change. We are not always notified if a show is postponed, rescheduled or cancelled. It will be your responsibility to monitor the event and to confirm any changes to the event with the entity putting on the event. In certain instances, a venue, promoter, or any entity putting on the event will require a ticket holder to relocate his or her seat. COMPANY shall not be held responsible for any such change and will not be obligated to provide a refund or any other compensation."

While we share in Mr. [redacted]'s frustration that this concert was delayed due to inclement weather, it must be noted that he is not due a refund for this transaction. Tickets-Center has fully adhered to the terms and conditions to which Mr. [redacted] agreed prior to completing his purchase. Additionally, in the interest of customer service Tickets-Center has reached out to our customer and offered a courtesy resolution to this matter beyond what is included in our 100% Money Back Guarantee. Mr. [redacted] accepted this resolution, but has continued to dispute the transaction with his financial institution. Because of this dispute, we are unable to provide any further resolution at this time. If Mr. [redacted] would like to discuss a resolution to his concerns or if he has any further questions, we encourage him to reach out to our customer service team. As it stands, we consider this matter closed.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: Although I disputed the transaction, the company sent information, which the bank then reversed the credit and re-charged the transaction to my account.Further, I attempted to contact the company to cancel the order prior to receiving a confirmation.  At that point the tickets were not in process.  As I stated previously, I have not opened the email, or the attachment, that the company claims are the tickets.  I will not be opening the email, thus the tickets are still available for resale.  In addition, the price of the ticket sold was 5 times that amount that the tickets are selling for on the venue's actual website ($12 compared to $57) not including the $15 fee per each ticket.
Sincerely,
Stephanie [redacted]

As such, we consider this matter resolved, and hope that [redacted] will consider Tickets center for their future event ticket needs. If [redacted] has any further questions we welcome them to contact a member of our customer service team.Regards,Tickets center

At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted] concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. This fact is noted on the top of every ticket and checkout page with the statement: “A service fee may is added to ticket orders at checkout. This site is not affiliated with any venue. Tickets may be above face value.” Additionally, prior to placing her order Ms. [redacted] was required to agree to our sales terms including our “all sales are final” policy.

Though Ms. [redacted] has stated that she was unaware of the nature of her purchase, the fact that we operate on the secondary market and tickets may be above face value is noted throughout the checkout process. Yet, prior to receiving this complaint, we reached out to Ms. [redacted] on 1/01/2017 via email to offer a resolution in the interest of customer service. We believe this to be an amicable resolution for both parties. As such, we consider this matter resolved and welcome Ms. [redacted] to contact us with any additional concerns she may have regarding her order.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/06/09) */
Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms. [redacted]'s concerns. We should explain that we are an online resale marketplace, which means we do...

not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Tickets-Center, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concerns. It should be noted that Tickets-Center is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate...

transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Tickets may be above face value.” Our customer has suggested that this information was not sufficiently displayed; this should be noted as inaccurate.Once our customer selected the ticket listing they desired for [redacted], they were directed to the checkout page. Here, customers are provided with an order summary that displays the event details, ticket location, and number of tickets the customer has selected. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and continued to the checkout page. On this checkout page customers are presented with a complete itemized breakdown of their order on the left-hand side. This breakdown detailed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total charge of $1,611.95 in bold text prior to entering any payment information. Directly above the "Place Order" button, the order total was reiterated in bold text stating, "By clicking 'Place Order,' your credit card will be charged $1,611.95 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees" at which time our customer proceeded to place their order.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Tickets-Center is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellers. All prices listed on our site are done so by the individual seller, not Tickets-Center, based on their personal assessments regarding a range of factors including customer demand. Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. In regards to our 100% Money Back Guarantee, we would like to provide clarification. Throughout the checkout process customers are notified that this guarantee ensures that their transaction will be safe and secure, the tickets shall be delivered prior to the event, and the tickets shall be valid and authentic. As Tickets-Center does not own inventory, we are unable to provide cancellations upon request; a common occurrence in the industry.Prior to receiving this claim we spoke with our customer to address all of their concerns. Our customer placed their order on 4/18/2017 and received their valid tickets on 4/19/2017 prior to their event which has since passed. We maintain that all order details were sufficiently displayed prior to placing their order; as such, we consider this matter closed. If our customer has any additional concerns regarding their order, we encourage them to reach out to our customer service department so that they may be addressed.Regards,Tickets-Center

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:they misrepresented themselves as I have stated earlier!  Requesting an entire refund as I have done since less than five minutes after my transaction!  The numbers don't lie they have many customers who are unhappy with their so called services as well!  Do the right thing, refund my money!  Be an ethical business!
Sincerely,

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
Sincerely,
[redacted]

On 12/8/16 I purchased 6 tickets to a festival from Tickets-Center.com. The site was listed first in a [redacted] search for tickets to the festival. After purchasing the tickets, I found out I had paid over 200% what the real tickets cost on the official festival site, plus an added service fee over $200.00! I went back to the site and it clearly reads at the top, "Money Back Guarantee" and the statement of tickets being non-refundable is not visible, but only found after clicking on a “Questions Answered” option on the right side of the screen.
Within minutes I called the 800# to Tickets-Center.com and spoke with the manager, asking to cancel the order and to issue a refund. I was told the tickets are non-refundable and that this was stated on the site in "fine print." The manager said they could not help me, but offered to refund $200, which I declined as being very unfair. When I asked why the tickets were so expensive, they said I was purchasing "second party" tickets, and although I disputed this with them, they would not help me. The advertising is deceptive and they are scalpers.
I then called my credit card company (within the hour) and the charge is now under dispute to hopefully be reversed. They will first contact the merchant to see if the purchase was valid, and of course they'll say it was valid - they're crooks! I will be surprised to get backing from the card company, and am afraid the site is going to keep ripping people off. It is engineered to do exactly that, but but they have it covered legally. Very tricky.

Thank you for contacting us regarding the concerns of Ms. [redacted] We appreciate the opportunity to address this matter. Tickets Center operates on the secondary market, which means we do not own or generate tickets as a primary box office—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket...

buyers and ticket sellers. To this end, we are committed to providing the best possible customer service and maintaining a simple, transparent checkout process.Though Ms. [redacted] claim is unclear, we believe she may be referring to the show time of the event, in which case, we would like to provide clarification. Our website is completely user-driven, meaning all order details is information either selected or inputted by the customer while placing their order. When Ms. [redacted] viewed our website, she selected an event listing page for [redacted] Circus at 4:00 PM on 2/4/2017. Once selected, she navigated to the ticket listing page where the event name, date, and time are reiterated and Ms. [redacted] chose two tickets for Section: * Row: *. She continued to the order summary page that displayed her event and ticket information. After she input her email address, she continued to our Checkout page that featured an even more in-depth itemized breakdown of all ticket information and pricing details, such as the price per ticket, delivery and service fees, and total charge of $214.95 in bold text. Ms. [redacted] was required to input all necessary billing and shipping information and review her order.Since we do not own any inventory of the tickets listed for sale on our website, we are unable to provide customers with exchanges or refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. Ms. [redacted] indicated that if an error occurs with a customer’s order we do not act to remedy the situation, though this is inaccurate. As stated in our policies and terms of use, “When an error is found in processing your order, you will be notified of the error and provided with available options, including the option of cancelling your order.” However, as Ms. [redacted] order did not undergo any errors, she does not qualify for a refund.Ms. [redacted] placed her order on 1/27/2017 and received her valid tickets via email on 2/2/2017 for her to print and bring to her event that took place on 2/4/2017. As Ms. [redacted] received the valid tickets for the event she selected, and her event has since passed, we consider this matter closed. If Ms. [redacted] has any additional questions, we encourage her to reach out to our customer service department.
