I appreciate the time [redacted] has taken to share additional information regarding his experience. The FedEx representative that he spoke with is correct, FedEx SmartPost shipments start with FedEx but is later handed off to USPS and the local post office will complete the delivery. Once Target’s fulfillment center has the shipment ready and hands it off to FedEx to handle the first leg of the shipment, it is no longer within Target’s control. There are many variables that may play into why the shipment was marked as undeliverable by USPS. For example, the shipment may have been sorted to the wrong local post office, the shipping label may have been damaged in transit, or simply the mail carrier may have misread the address. Unfortunately, Target is unable to pinpoint what exactly happened and provide a definitive answer as to why it wasn’t delivered; we are only able to share the information we receive from our carriers and that information has been shared previously. I understand how invaluable time is and I’m truly sorry to hear that he spent his entire Saturday trying to track down his order. While Target is unable to put a dollar amount on the time he’s spent, I’ve sent him a $10 Target eGiftCard to his email address. A refund was processed for the dishwasher detergent pacs, and as I’ve mentioned before, Target is unable to resend him the dishwasher detergent pacs unless a new order is placed. I encourage [redacted] to use the eGiftCard to place a new order for the pacs or he can simply print the eGiftCard to use in any of his local Target stores. $40.00 worth of nutritional items and receive a $10.00 Target GiftCard. After reviewing the guest's order summary and reading her letter to the Revdex.coms I also see that a Target eGiftCard in the amount of $5.00 was issued back on February 12, 2016.
The guest is entitled to another $5.00 Target GiftCard which I sent to the email address attached to the original order. She should receive her Target eGiftCard in 4-24 hours.

I am rejecting this response because: the item was returned to your company one day late on the 23rd and the 90 day frame was the 22nd I have a tracking number to prove this. I am not in control of the shipping it was not my fault your company received this late when I shipped it out before the 90 day frame. I want a full refund of $37.83 there was no promotion going on and I didn’t not receive any discount on this item. If you are speaking about the gift card applied to my order I had other items on their to use the gift card as well?? I won’t be shopping with your company again having to wait months for a refund because the item was one day late to your warehouse! the order wasn’t cancelled was because we were giving a time-frame for the new inventory to arrive. If for some reason that deadline isn’t meant than the order has to be cancelled. I realize our guest has been patiently waiting for the Teddy Ruxpin Bear, especially, since it’s meant to be a Christmas gift for her grandchildren. I confirmed the bear is still on back-ordered. received; specifically another camera.   Target has researched this situation at great length and shared with [redacted] that no refund or replacement will be provided. We also looked at other guest’s orders which delivered to the same shipping address and no other guest had any missing items or claims of delivered not received. I realize this isn’t the resolution he’s looking for, but Target considers this matter closed as there are no other options for this situation.   As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests.

 Unfortunately the KitchenAid Mixer became unavailable and her order was delayed. On 11/30/2016 Target.com sent her an email advising her to follow the steps within the email if she was willing to wait for it to ship or the order would cancel. Since the steps weren’t completed, our system cancelled her order. The KitchenAid Mixer went from $199.99 to $249.99 so the previous team member sent her a $50 Target eGiftCard to help her repurchase it.  I was able to locate the promotion, “$5 gift card with movie pre-order” which was valid 05/15 - 05/22 and his order was placed on 05/20/16 so the order qualified. I’ve requested a $5 Target eGiftCard be sent to the email address used on the order. He should receive the eGiftCard within 4-24 hours which can be used on Target.com or simply print it to use in stores. I’ve shared his experience with our promotions and online operation teams so they can investigate and ensure this doesn’t happen again in the future.  As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests.
