When a wrong item is received, we send an immediate notice to our fulfillment center to advise us if a Team Member shipped the wrong item by mistake or if there is an error with the listed item number. If the item number was listed incorrectly when we sent him a replacement, the guest would’ve received another wrong towel set. I apologize but we had to have our teams look into this further. It looks like they were able to conclude that the item numbers are listed accurately. I went ahead and processed him a refund like he requested. I created a return for the towel set that he didn’t receive and processed his refund of $25.86 back to his PayPal account. Since he paid with PayPal, our return system automatically sent the original refund by a Target GiftCard but I deactivated it so that I was able to process the refund to his PayPal account. because the item was out of stock. I understand that her refund was in the form of a Target GiftCard and she was asking for the refund to go back to her PayPal account. As it turns out, [redacted] has used the GiftCard that was issued as payment on a new order. Because of this, I’m unable to make an exception to the refund method. I’ve let her know that she can return orders to her local store and receive a refund in cash for orders paid with PayPal; however online returns will be refunded in the form of a Target GiftCard.As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. I am rejecting this response because: to cancel orders and send an email blaing it in a technical issues is low but I will not shop at target ever again . These were orders that was going to be picked up it was not delivered to an address and I didn’t get an explanation as to why the order was cancelled and another order went through successfully

Thanks for contacting Target on behalf of our guest [redacted] regarding her payment security concerns. I'd be happy to look in to this situation and provide with more information.
When our guest placed an order on Target.com, Target...
doesn't save the payment information after the order is submitted. The only way this would be possible is if she chooses to save her payment information to her Target.com shopping account for future fast check out. The only thing that shows on Target's side is the type of card saved and the last four digits of the card. Rest assured our top priority is protecting our guest's information. That being said our guest is required to enter their user name and password in order to access their Target.com shopping account.
I've thoroughly researched and found that there isn't any Master Card information saved on her Target.com shopping account, nor that type of credit card associated with her previous order [redacted].
Target.com accepts a combination of up to four Target GiftCards and one credit card for an order payment. During the checkout process, our website will asked our guest for their credit card information only if the Target Gift Cards didn't have enough balance to cover the order. With that being said asking for our guest's Master Card information didn't apply to this situation because the order value was only $49.77 and the two Target GiftCards that our guest used to pay for the order had the balance of $20 and $50, so that was a total of $70, well above the order value.
I'm sorry if there was a confusing statement listed on the packing slip but our packing slip should've only listed the purchaser's address, the order number and a list of item(s) without the pricing, and a statement about our return policy. I'm not sure why the packing slip that our guest received would said "the billing statement was sent to an individual in Arlington VA," this doesn't apply at all to this situation because our guest used the two Target Gift Card for this purchase and a billing address wasn't required at check out. Especially, Target doesn't have our guest's MasterCard information on file nor would be sent that information on the packing slip, that isn't how we process orders and payment.
Target has layers of security verification before an order is allowed to go through. If an address provided doesn't match the card holder's information, the order will then be cancelled.
In conclusion, Target couldn't find an error on our end and we considered this matter closed. I'd recommend that our guest work closely with her issuing bank for further assistance.

Target doesn’t advertise that the limited warranty is through Samsung so I apologize for the confusion that this has caused the guest. However the warranty information should’ve been included with the devices.Samsung doesn’t offer certain unlocked phones in the U.S but Target is an authorized dealer to sell the Samsung devices that he purchased. As stated before, he’ll have to work with CRR Warranty to have his phones replaced under their warranty. Target considers this matter closed as there are no other options for this situation. GiftCard information, which includes the GiftCard number and Access number (pin). The only way to utilize GiftCards through Target.com is by manually entering this information either into a Guest Account wallet, or via checkout which means [redacted]’s GiftCard information was obtained by a third party. If [redacted] provided that information to someone, willingly or unwillingly, that’s not something Target could have prevented. Target considers this matter closed, no further action is required. short window of time to try to modify an order. Typically, when an item is in transit, we can contact the carrier and attempt to intercept the package, but this isn’t a guarantee. Mrs. [redacted]’s order wasn’t able to be intercepted due to the way the order was being shipped out. As of today, December 9th, I have issued a refund of $113.67 back to her Discover card. The refund will reflect on her statement within the next 5-7 business days. This is certainly not the type of experience we want to provide our guests. We definitely want to ensure our guests receive all the items they pay for. A replacement was created on 12/6 for the Elena doll. When we send out replacements, our guests don’t get charged again.
