I am rejecting this response because:The response is just a load of crap. You cannot expect me to believe that a product is not guaranteed until after shipping has been done when you have to pay for the products before shipping can happen. Shame on you for ruining my sons Christmas gift.

This response does not address my complaint in any way. It merely outlines how I can receive email alerts which I'm already receiving. Had Nancy read my complaint she would have read what I wrote in my opening sentence: "Received an email stating 30% off when spending $75 or more." So again I will copy and paste my original complaint. This should be forwarded to someone other than Nancy. Her supervisor perhaps.
Original Complaint: Received an email stating 30% off when spending $75 or more. This was not honored at the store. I spent $105 plus $10 tax on top of that at the location of LA Central [redacted] and the email I rec'd was not honored. The Manager Alia at the store said it was online only. No where in the email does it state "online only."
Desired Outcome: A refund of $35 to be picked up at the store immediately. In cash as that's how I paid - Cash.

I am rejecting this response because:
Unacceptable. Every other online retailer notifies the customer if they have an issue with the charge. This is no difference. I did nothing wrong and I am the one getting penalized. Someone at target corporate can go to their local store and buy it for me and ship it out. I am more than happy to speak with someone on the phone to arrange this. I will give them my card number to pay for it. If this is not resolved, I won't shop at target and advised friends to do the same. The worst customer experience I have ever received. I can post this on social media if you like, or you can do what is right.

the order within 4-24 hours. [redacted]’s order contains a promotional $10.00 free eGiftCard with purchase. Target GiftCards don’t have a value until they’re purchased, so the way we processed these orders is that we reduced the value of the purchased items then placed the value on the promotional GiftCards. [redacted]’s order total was $33.81 and contains two shipments, $23.81 was for the Tide liquid shipment and $10.00 was for the promotional eGiftCard shipment. This is the reason why [redacted] was refunded $23.81 and he isn’t required to return the damaged merchandise back to us. I understand the inconvenience caused when the second shipment arrived damaged and spilled on [redacted]’s porch, which he had to clean the mess up. I can’t apologize enough when this happened. Normally when a package is damaged in transit, the carrier will return it to the sender, but I’m not sure why the second damaged package wasn’t returned. I’ve shared our guest’s experience with our packaging team and our carriers to ensure this won’t happen again. I’ve also sent [redacted] an additional $25.00 eGiftCard as an apology for his experience. The eGiftCard will be delivered to his email within 4-24 hours. eGiftCard can be redeemed online or simply print off the email to redeem it in-store. Once an item is placed on Target.com we strive to process it right away so guests can receive it as soon as possible. If an item is processed we are unable to cancel the order....
There is only a short window of time, usually less than 10 minutes for guests to cancel their order. It looks like [redacted] was able to cancel one of the items in her order because it had not been processed. The item [redacted] could not cancel was already processed. I apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this may have caused [redacted].
Based on my research, we refunded [redacted] 12/16/15 for the item she could not cancel. Refunds take 5-7 business days to reflect on the original form of payment. It looks like the item will still be sent to [redacted]. USPS will be delivering this item since we could not reroute it to our online center. The USPS tracking number is ([redacted]). [redacted] is getting this item for free since we've refunded her for it. She can keep or donate the item.
For future reference, our Guest Service number is (800) [redacted] not [redacted]. It sounds like [redacted] made an error when dialing our Guest Service line. Target cannot compensate [redacted] for the error that was made trying to call us at (800) [redacted]. I am happy to hear [redacted] was able to protect her identify and information but we cannot compensate her for these services she paid for.

They should remove the message which says that ecard will be delivered within 4 hours. I placed the order on 4/14/2016 at 8:50 AM and did not receive the ecard until 7:50 PM. They were not able to cancel my order after promised time of 4 hours and because of this I was not able to use my smartphone from 8:50 AM to 7:50 PM.
