process by sending her a prepaid return shipping label. The return center would refund her when they receive her items or she can return her items to her local Target store for a full refund. I have followed up with the team members that she spoke with to provide coaching and ensure that this doesn’t happen again. I also shared her experience with my leadership team so that they can look further into orders not being able to cancel after the email gives them the option to do so. As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. "Nancy" here apparently has a severe case of ADD, or is indicating typical sociopathic behavior by issuing such a shallow and inattentive response. 1.  There is no "Ms." [redacted].2.  I specifically asked that this notice be passed to Target's legal dept, as this is a demand to defend and protect my property rights which Target has violated.3. The attack on my internet resources continues.  When I said this is to stop immediately, I meant just that.  I don't care what steps are required on the intruders end, even if it means a complete shutdown of their data centers. What they are doing is intrsive and thereforew unethical!

I understand our guest was frustrated when his pick-up in store purchase was shipped to him. ...

When inventory isn't available, a reallocation email is sent providing the option for our guests to cancel the order, choose another store or to have the order shipped to them; I am showing that the option to have the order shipped was chosen from that email. The guest did call to have the order cancelled and a request was submitted. There is a very short window of time prior to the order processing that this can be done, however, we are not able to guarantee a cancellation request. Unfortunately, the order still shipped and the guest had already placed a second order for a tv for in store pick-up.
The order was delivered the next day and target did process a refund in advance of receiving the order back at our returns center. I understand the guest is upset about his refund method being in the form a GiftCard instead of going back to his PayPal account. The refund method for a PayPal purchase is displayed several times during the checkout process
I am truly sorry for the guest's frustration, but at this time, I am unable to refund the guests PayPal account in part because the GiftCard has already been used on another purchase. Additionally, Target doesn't pay our guests late fees or overdraft fees due to purchases with us. I understand that my apologies will not completely eliminate his frustration, but I do appreciate the amount of time the guest has spent to contact us regarding this manner.

I am rejecting this response because: it's not possible for there to have been a payment issue since I paid with a gift card and they even charged it for my purchase. They claim they credited my gift card back even which means they received payment but chose to cancel my order for no reason.

have the email address, zip code and order number to access the eBay gift cards. I also confirmed that each of the gift cards was opened and accessed, which takes away any option for a refund. If the guest feels that his gift cards were used without his permission he’s certainly welcome to contact his local law enforcement office and file a police report. Please keep in mind that they only investigate who redeemed them and they don’t decide if a refund or replacements are issued. Since the gift cards have been accessed and were delivered to the guest. order is submitted, Target places an authorization hold on the bank account to place the funds on hold and we charge for the items as they ship and the authorization hold automatically falls off of their account. I’m understanding that she’s wanting to be refunded by having a check mailed to her.  Unfortunately, the refund is unable to be issued in the form of a check.  At this time, Target doesn’t accept checks as a payment method and therefore refunds cannot be issued in that form.  The guest paid with PayPal.  Refunds for a PayPal payment are in the form of a Target GiftCard; this information is provided during the checkout process.  I’ve noted below the two options that are available in order for her to receive a refund.1.  I can email another electronic GiftCard, but I need her to provide me with an alternative email address, preferably one with a different domain such as @gmail or @hotmail2. I can mail her a physical GiftCard to the address on the order, but this could take up to 10 days for her to receiveI will issue the refund back to the guest once she provides which one of the two options above she prefers.

reviewed the transaction information and have requested a replacement Target GiftCard be mailed to the guest for $225.00. We're replacing the missing $200.00 + $25.00 to help bring them back into our stores. The GiftCard will be shipped today and will arrive within 3-5 business days. Due to the high dollar value the GiftCard will be mailed with UPS and will require a signature upon delivery. UPS will attempt to deliver the package up to three times. If the guest isn’t available on the first attempt, UPS will come out two more times. Should the guest not be available on the third attempt the GiftCard will be returned to Target.   When our guest contacted our GiftCard department they followed the correct policies. Target considers GiftCards to be like cash and can only be replaced if there is a remaining balance. Their GiftCard had been fully redeemed so there was nothing available to replace. To ensure that no one is able to access their Target.com account, I recommend that they reset their password. Also, it’s a good idea to use unique user names and passwords on each website where they’ve created an account. As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. December 8, 2015. If a store is does not have an item available the guest can have the item shipped free of charge, which is the option that [redacted] chose.
According to the UPS tracking the camera is estimated to be delivered by December 10, 2015 as the guest was originally informed. I am so sorry that [redacted] was misinformed and had a frustrating experience.

After a filing a complaint here with the Revdex.com, contacting my credit card company and contacting Target via their social media outlets my claim has been resolved.
The package was expressed to the desired address and all shipping costs were waived. I was not contacted by the company so I have no idea how this came about. I personally have nothing else to complain about because they fixed their mistake and as a consumer I feel that's all you can ask.
However I do feel it's a general policy issue that may be worth looking into both by the Bureau and Target.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. It should have not taken contacting the Revdex.com to get a resolution. No one wanted to rectify the situation until I noted I contacted the Revdex.com.The Team Nember also wanted me to wait weeks to get the 20% back, after I was told it would be done as soon as possible by a different Team Member before I placed the order. You really need consistency among what your employees tell your customers. This was a disappointing experience with Target!

I am rejecting this response because: I already purchased another tv from a company that could fulfill what I was promised.  This is the third time I have been screwed over by Target.  I will not purchase anything from your company again.
