I am rejecting this response because:The original complaint was that I had an appointment with the sales man on 11/24. I received a text from this person verifying that appointment. At NO point during this conversation did the sales person say that the phones would not be there and that we would not get the offer. It seems to me that Target is practicing unethical business practices and that they train their teams to make promises with the intent to never fulfill them. I called closer locations about this offer and they let me know that they did not have any available devices or appointments. They were honest with me. I would have never traveled an hour it they were not going to be there. I feel the Mobile Rep lied and they had no intention of selling me the two IPhone 8 and getting them activated. I also did try to seek resolution to this issue that night from the manager on duty. The manager made it clear that she could have cared less about my issue. That is when I asked for your customer service number. I called that number immediately after I left them store. I spoke with Grace, a manager for Guest Relations, who showed concern for my issue. She took notes from our discussion and said that somebody from Target would be contacting me. I found out later that my complaint was not filed until the Monday after my call. I received a call on 11/28 from Sandra at guest relations and she let me that the promotion is over and that there was nothing else they would do. Target responded that the promotion is over and that there is nothing that they can do. I expect that companies I do business with operate in an ethical manner. I expect that Target honor the promotion because I was given an appointment and confirmed that they would have the two phones I was looking to activate. If Target does not honor this advertisement then I think they should be investigated for unethical business practices.

I opened a Revdex.com inquiry with regards to an order I placed at Target, which was just closed by you based on information Target provided. I would just like to offer evidence that the information provided by Target is completely false. I think that the information below should be provided to Target, as it is possible that the person reviewing this claim made an error in reviewing the order history. Target claims that my order was $280.13. The original order I placed was for a total of $320.09. Please see attached order confirmation and my May credit card statement confirming charges of $320.09 (that amount is broken down into four charges: $155.35, $75.59, $70.56, and $18.59) NOT the $280.13 that Target claims. On 4/24/16, a PRICE ADJUSTMENT of $39.97 was processed. This was before any of the items arrived and NOT a return, as Target claims - I had not even received the items yet (This is also reflected on my May credit card statement, attached). On 5/18/16, the value of the three items that both Target and I agree were received was refunded. That is the refund of $230.79. The remaining three items, valued at $49.34, were NEVER refunded. On 8/17/16, Target attempted to appease me with a $25 gift card after I spent approximately 1.5 hours over two phone calls trying to figure out what happened with my refund. This is NOT a refund. It is a gift card offered as a good will gesture (please see text of the attached email describing it as such), which I obviously have not spent, as I would like the refund I am legally entitled to for the items that I returned to Target. The remaining three items, valued at $49.34, were NEVER refunded." The value is actually lower if you take into account the two items I kept (the order confirmation does not break down how the coupon code I used was applied, so I do not know exactly how much each item cost, but the customer service rep I spoke to on the phone said the value of the three items in dispute was $42, so I used that in my original complaint). Information on the standard cancellation policy of pre-orders can be found in the Help section on Target.com by entering “pre-order” into the Help search bar.Pre-order limits are decided upon in advance by the buyer and vendor. Once the limit has been met, no new pre-orders can be taken, even if there are cancellations. Our guest had duplicate orders in our system due to a technical error. The guest refused both shipments. I processed an advanced refund to the guest for both orders on 09/29/15, which should be posted to her credit card within 7-10 days.
Target GiftCards were mailed to guest for her experience and should be received in 7-10 days.

You may have requested it on 6/2 but I did not get the refund until 6/13. One of your associats told me the refund for part of my order was not processed until 6/8.

I’ve personally followed up with those team members and provided feedback to ensure they know how to handle situations like this in the future. I’ve shared this issue with our technical team for further research. I’ve gone ahead and requested a manual refund of $194.40 back to [redacted]’s Target MasterCard. able to process reversals manually and we don’t have access to remove authorization codes. Pending authorization charges should fall off automatically as the order is shipped and billed and is entirely dependent on our guest’s financial institution; because of this, we’re unable to cover overdraft charges that could be incurred. The best course of action for her is to continue to work with her card issuer for resolution. Although there’s no way for me to undo the experience she’s had, I do sincerely apologize that it did. This isn’t the experience we would want her to have so I’ve sent her a $10 eGiftCard to invite her back for a better one.As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests.
