Thanks for keeping us up to date on this case for [redacted].I was in contact with [redacted] earlier this week and left her a message this afternoon.  I’ve had this thoroughly researched by our specialty team and [redacted] is correct, the refund failed in our back end systems.  I’ve requested a manual refund in the amount of $130.19; since this is being done outside our normal systems, it can take up to 14 days for this refund to appear back to her Visa.I’m very sorry this error occurred and that it has taken such a long time for it to be resolved, it is an extremely rare occurrence.  This isn’t the experience she should have had; I’d like to invite her back for a better one and have sent her a $25 eGiftCard that she can use on a future purchase.As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. This meant that some stores limited it to one per guest to keep availability for more guests. Target will continue to receive Hatchimals throughout the season and into the New Year as they become available! Inventory levels and flow will vary by store, so we encourage guests to check back with their local stores. You can always grab a Hatchimals-themed GiftCard and bring your little one back when we have more Hatchimals for you to hatch!  I know this has been a frustrating experience for you. correct, once an order has been placed we no longer have the capability to modify the payment details. I realize he prefers to have his order replaced but when an item is available to pre-order, there is a limit decided upon by the buyer and vendor. Once the limit has been met, no additional new pre-orders can be taken, even if there are cancellations. Once all pre-orders have shipped, any available inventory will then become available to guests on the site or at your local Target. I realize this entire experience has been unpleasant and disappointing and I wish I could take back what he has already encountered. the item shipped and she was charged $94.33 but the original authorization would have fallen off.  In addition to the above order, I’m showing that an order also in the amount of $94.33 was started on June 5th.  The payment information was entered but the order was not actually submitted; since the payment information was entered an authorization hold was placed on the card.  She should see this authorization hold drop off her account within 7 days.  I’m partnering with another team to see if they can reverse the hold sooner, but I’ve been told that this process can also take up to 7 days. I certainly understand how frustrating this must be for her and I do apologize.  At the moment, she’ll have to wait up to the seven days to have that additional authorization hold in the amount of $94.33 to be released. it is working. When the mail gets dropped off on 12/2, the mailman will pick up her package to be returned back to us. Once our return center receives the items a full refund will be issued. On 12/1 Mrs. [redacted] called us again and did receive a refund for the iPhone case. She isn’t required to return it back to us due to all the hassle she has been through. Our technical team is aware of the online issue regarding return labels not being accessible and they are working to get that taken care of as soon as possible.   We do have a 14 day price match guarantee policy, but Thanksgiving Day (11/24/2016) through December 3rd are excluded from this. This information can be found on Target.com and Mrs. [redacted] is aware of why she wasn’t able to get a price adjustment and understands the reasoning.   As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests.
