I am rejecting this response because:The representative didnt mention the whole conversation I had.She mentioned that Target couldnt find the product at any other store. I was able to find it and I informed her that 2 of those units available at Target Store Madison West. I even agreed to drive 2+ hours and go pick them up. I requested to have them on hold as I cant go this weekend and I will go next weekend as it requires almost my hald day away from work to drive there and pick up the items.She called me back and agreed that there are 2 items available in that store but she cant put them on hold as they are on clearance. I offered to charge my Credit card, Or I can go to local store and pay for it. But she still refused to keep items on hold.She offered me $100 Target Gift Card.Target's Employee Negligence costed me $480 of loss and they are compensating only $100 ?I didnt agree to this resolution. I as a customer took further step to drive 2+ hours and pickup the item but Target didnt help.Later I sent an email that I can probably agree with $200 of Target Gift Card as a compensation and Target should try again to put items on hold for me at the specific store I mentioned.

reviewed the transaction information and have requested a replacement Target GiftCard be mailed to the guest for $100.00. ** will receive email notification once the card ships, and will arrive within 7-10 business days after the notification.   When our guest contacted our GiftCard department they followed the correct policies. Target considers GiftCards to be like cash and can only be replaced if there is a remaining balance. Their GiftCards had been fully redeemed so there was nothing available to replace.   To ensure that no one is able to access their Target.com account, I recommend that they reset their password. Also, it’s a good idea to use unique user names and passwords on each website where they’ve created an account.   As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. I am rejecting this response because: My gift card ending in 6392 was deducted $4.35 before the item was ready for pick up. I used a $10 gift card. I cancelled the order so my gift card should be and needs to be a full $10. I did not pick up the item/order but was still charged.

While the GiftCard may be used in our Target Stores, Citi Bank is the issuer of these cards. Since they are the ones who distributed the cards, they’ll be the ones who resolve any problems that occur. The only direction Target can provide is for [redacted] to contact Citi Bank’s Rewards Department. If he’s unable to obtain a resolution through there, I recommend escalating his issue within their department.Target considers this matter closed as there are no other options for our guest.

The follow-up information that [redacted] provided is greatly appreciated.I’m happy to hear that she has partnered with her bank after we confirmed that no additional funds are being held for the cancelled order. Once an order or an item from an order has been cancelled we systemically send an authorization removal to the card issuer. I realize that a processing error must have occurred since her bank has confirmed that the funds are still being held. I verified that no further actions can be made by Target for an cancelled order, therefore, we advise her to continue to work with her bank and dispute the charges, if needed. As always, I appreciate the assistance you provide us with our guests. This response does not address my issue. The amounts charged a second and third time we're not even the same as my original order.  I understand the hold on my account but the hold in the amount of the order/items picked up should have not caused an additional $51.09 on 8/12 and then another $10 on 8/13. Obviously the Target system is flawed.  The correct amount wasn't even what over drafted my account.  I had funds to cover the order but the subsequent charges caused the overdraft. Again I feel this was at least partly caused by the pick-up system being out of service.  I have bought numerous items online with other retailers and have never had two charges go through in the same order, much less three.  I feel if they are unwillingly to reimburse me fit the fee, the order total should be reimbursed.

cancelled because the authorization for the payment method failed.  I understand that his bank carried the pre-order charges over to a new card; however the payments were processed in our system using the old card number which was closed and that is why it failed.  When there’s a failed payment method, Target automatically cancels the order.  There isn’t an option to change/update the payment method after a pre-order is placed.  When an item is available to pre-order, there is a limit decided upon by the buyer and vendor.  Once the limit has been met, no additional pre-orders can be taken even if there are cancellations.  At this point, there isn’t a way to reinstate his cancelled order.  This was a highly anticipated release that sold out quickly.  As of right now, I don’t have any additional information as to the future availability of the PlayStation VR Goggles. I’ve contacted the guest via email with the above information and have also provided a $25 electronic GiftCard to invite him back for a better experience.  I’ll be share to share his experience and feedback with our order processing and technical support teams. I am rejecting this response because: As you state, the advertisement says the phone cannot have "any broken components". My point is that while my screen is cracked, it is not broken. In fact, I'm typing this response on my phone right now. A common definition of broken is "not functioning" or "not working". Under this definition, my phone, and it's screen, are not broken. I understand that you are using a different definition of broken - something closer to "damaged" - but the ambiguity is the key point. You used a word that can mean different things. I believe you should acknowledge the mistake, then make it right by honoring the language of the advertisement.
