Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint Nobody from Cincinnati bell has spoken to us in reference to schedule an appointment for this serviceThey apparently wrote to Revdex.com a date/time that we knew nothing about? That day there will be nobody home for this serviceTypically, a company schedules a time and date for a service? This is not a good day nor timeWe would appreciate an actual scheduled appointment how any other company would do? FYIThree days have already been scheduled for this service with nobody showing up nor even contacting us about the cancellationIt will not be scheduled early any morning disrupting our hectic schedules risking this inconvenience againThey can't even call to schedule this apparent appointment with us, so how can we be sure they'll even show when we do get scheduled? We don't feel comfortable closing this until the service actually gets rendered, given this entire situation Regards, [redacted]
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint My Internet is still not properly working which means I am going to have to once again contact technical support most likely receiving a rep whom doesn't understand me and I don't understand which will result in them telling me I have to take off yet another dayMy connection still goes from working well to not working or moving so slow It's as if it's not workingFor example on 5/I had pings, download, and upload, on 5/at 10:pm I had pings download and upload at 11:18pm pings download and upload then at 11:20pm it went to pings, download and upload this morning at 8:it was pings download and upload at 9:it's pings, download, and an upload of and the one I just ran at 9:shows at pings , download, and an upload of There is no consistency in my ability to utilize my service for myself or my children Regards, [redacted] ***
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint This info is partially true but primarily incorrectAs far as a technician reachingout to me times in days and leaving voicemails, that is incorrectI do not have voicemail set up on my phone, so that statement is not trueAs far as a neighboring tech, I did not ask him to provide service, I validated that they do work saturdays and sundays, the days I am available per weekAs far as no notes on video not working, that is not my fault that your employees do not have record of thatThey have advised me on multiple past calls that certain notes such as this were not actually noted on the account, showing neglect on Cincinnati bells behalfIt is true o have received credits on my account, that is from when service including tv was downMy balance should not be as high as it is because I made multiple attempts to cancel services over months ago to cancel tv and was refusedThey would finally switch me to an unanswered extensionI am sorry I cant call off work and lose money to have tech support visit my home to fix any issues THEIR service is havingWith the fact that the cable boxes are internet based, they should have had some insight to knowing that internet services not working right = tv not working rightI was charged a disconnect fee for dollar and change delinquency and charged dollars for reconnect! That is ridiculousAnd as far as receiving credit at the beginning of the upgrade, it was because I was promised a date that services were supposed to start, had a party around a tv event the next day and we couldnt watch itCincinnati bell currently holds a security deposit from us, I do NOT want tv services but if they make this right, I would consider keeping internet serviceThe last rep I spoke with, offered that I pay the full balance and than would be credited half of itI think it is only right to keep the deposit and write off the remaining balanceIt is clear per their own records I HAVE called multiple times without a fixIf theycome out and ensure my internet is the proper speed, I would keep that if they accept what I just offeredI personally think that over hrs of calling and headaches within a year is ridiculous and stressful, but not asking for compensation for thatI wanted credit for half of my internet services since ive only received half of what I pay forI worked tech support for yrs for a different cable and internet company and know all of the home remedy trouble shooting, and have done that multiple times with no fixThere should also be a record of me stating my pregnant girlfriend crawling around on the floor to reset boxes over times a dayCincinnati bell, ive been a good customer to you, I ask that you make this right Regards, [redacted]
Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint They do not seem to be addressing the concern of the erroneous information their customer service dispensed nor the fact that the technician never ended up doing anything in the house just switched the lines going into the house Like normal, no one aaddresses the issue just makes a canned response without knowing all the details Not at all happy with the service or Cincinnati bell as they are charging me for work inside the house they did not do.Regards, [redacted]
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint The issue is with the billing amountWe contracted with Cincinnati Bell for $a month for cellular service, which included a data and unlimited text packageOver June/July of 2014, Cincinnati Bell announced that it was offering members free unlimited data, talk and textWhen we received our July statement, the billing amount was for $We disputed that amount with Cincinnati Bell's customer service since data, talk and text were now unlimited and freeThe representative said that the bill was incorrect, our bill would be adjusted and the new bill would be ready shortly We received a new bill for the amount of $and paid that bill on 8/05/ At the end of August, we received another bill, again for the amount of $Again, we contacted customer service and stated that we received another statement reflecting the incorrect amount of $Cincinnati Bell's representative again apologized, adjusted the amount and said that an aditional amount would be taken off of the billOn Sept9, we received a bill for the amount of $This reflected the unlimited talk, data, and text promotion, as well as the adjusted amount for receiving the wrong billWe paid $on 9/9/Being our experience with Cincinnati Bell had been poor, and since their company was ending their cell service, we decided to leave their companyOn 9/15/2014, we ended our contract with Cincinnati BellOn 9/15/using Cincinnati Bell's account forward option, we paid $to cover the billing period of 8/- 9/In October, a bill arrived Again, we spoke with Cincinnati Bell's customer service representiveWe explained all of our previous actions to Cincinnati Bell's representative who said that we were current with our account and the last bill would be removed since it had been paid using the forward payment optionBell has records of these payments.I am tired of hearing from Cincinnati Bell that we did not pay our account on time or in fullFurthermore, we were never informed that we are being accused of carrying over delinquent payments from previous months, until after we leftWe paid our statements online or by phone using Cincinnati Bell and working with their representativesCincinnati Bell's record keeping is fraught with inaccuracies and does not reflect what we paid to their comapiny using their servicesCincinnati Bell is attempting to use it's inaccurate records to portray their former customers as delinquentWhen paying the monthly statement through [redacted] Bell's portal, we never received an option to pay less then amount of the bill that was owedOur two payments in September have been used by Bell's billing department, after the fact, in an attempt to show that we were paying $for our billing cycle, instead of what we settled on with their customer service at the timeCincinnati Bell has bungled handling dismantling it's cellular service and handling it's recorded keeping and is demanding that their former customers pay for it Regards, [redacted] h
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.I was told when I left the company and when I returned the equipment I would have a zero balance I only had internet with that company I didnt have a balance of that amount If I did I dont know how and wasnt made aware of it If I owe anything maybe one month of service and I will pay one month of service immediately but its unfair for years to say I owe over for equipment, but you had the equipment for years but kept putting this negative mark on my credit report and now saying its You were wrong about me owing the equipment and you are wrong about this service balance as well This is unfair to your customer to report information for years and now you realize I turned it in even though I have been writing you for years that I did to now say I owe a bill This seem like fraudI dont trust this Regards, [redacted]

Dear [redacted] ***,Cincinnati Bell is responding to the complaint that you filed with the Revdex.com concerning your accountWhile Cincinnati Bell does strongly recommend you use our modem equipment, it is not a requirementMost fiber-based Internet providers do require that you use their modem for Internet service, such as [redacted] and [redacted] ***While it is true that some cable providers allow you to use your own "cable modem", this is very different from the modem required for Cincinnati Bell Internet serviceOur modem uses a coax connection between the ONT and the router (using something called ***, which is quite different from cable modem signals)If you wish to use your own modem, please return the modem that Cincinnati Bell has provided you to any Cincinnati Bell retail store; a representative from the store should issue you a receipt for returning the equipment and another receipt for placing an order to remove the $modem fee from your accountPlease keep in mind that if you choose to use your own modem, Cincinnati Bell will not be able to provide troubleshooting or technical support should an issue arise with your serviceConsequently, we cannot guarantee Internet speeds in your home if you are using your own modem equipmentIt is never Cincinnati Bell’s intention to upset or frustrate our customersOn behalf of Cincinnati Bell, I apologize if you feel we have done so in this matter.Josh Executive Care Representative Cincinnati Bell Telephone

July 29, [redacted] *** [redacted] RE: ###-###-#### Cincinnati Bell is responding to the complaint you filed with the Revdex.com concerning your Caller ID feature Per our conversation on Wednesday the 29th, I asked that you unplug your phone and wait ten minutes, plug it back in to see if the caller ID would reset When I called back, it still was not working Since the Caller ID is working on all of the other phones in your home, it seems to be a malfunctioning piece of equipmentThis will happen when there is an outage and the phone is not on a power surge protector It was suggested that you purchase a new phone that is Caller ID compatible Please feel free to contact our office at ###-###-#### if you should have any additional questions or concerns Sue Executive Care Agent Cincinnati Bell Telephone

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint We have unsuccessfully been able to have Cincinnati bell install our service for over a year nowWe've stated many times that WE DON'T USE OUR HOME PHONE DUE TO NO CALLER ID, which is why we're upset that Cincinnati bell keeps not showing up after each time being on the phone multiple times to actually schedule itToday we found a voicemail from Cincinnati bellONGThe gentleman that left a voicemail, well lets just say we played it four times, and could not possibly understand him, and worse, his bad connection was so statically, that it was impossible to get the message from him, much less a phone number he tried to leave :( This entire situation scares us that, well as two coworkers told me today, TRY DEALING WITH CINCINNATI BELL ONCE YOU'RE INSTALLED WITH ANY PROBLEMS, as they're notorious for horrible customer service :( We're quite sure that if we call that number we had, if not that woman, will be that gentlemanIt's horrible customer service that this has taken us do long to just try dimly to get their service, much less even get they to a human that understands and verbalizes English :( Regards, [redacted]
