Unfortunately we have had nothing short of a miserable experience with the quality of your furniture as well as Customer ServiceTo shorten the story, we are still waiting for a dining set, after being promised a delivery in 2-weeks, its been over months and they cannot commit to a delivery dateAn ottoman we purchased (after weeks) is sinking in the centerThe store doesn’t careYou get different stories from all customer service agentsIt’s a nightmare
I purchased two leather bonded couches from Jennifer Convertibles in Orange, CT on 2/**/A sofa and loveseat, with total cost being $I also purchased the extended warrantySince they were delivered on 3/*/18, the smell coming from these two couches has been irritating and harmfulI called the main customer service number at the end of March and was told that this is typical of new furniture
Unfortunately, the smell has persisted over months laterIt is difficult to sit in the furniture, as you are immediately enveloped in a heavy chemical smellI get a migraine headache if I sit on the couch for longer than a few minutesThe whole living room has this smell, and I've actually had neighbors ask me what the smell isI've tried opening windows, burning candles, etcNothing works

Purchased a couch from Jennifer Convertibles in Brooklyn, NY on a debit card (cash) on Jan **, for $They tried to deliver the couch on Feb *, The couch was damaged and being broken down on the sidewalk in front of a bus stopWe filmed them doing this on our phone The couch was supposed to be broken down in their warehouse and wrapped up when delivered by truck We did not accept the damaged furniture and they agreed to have a new couch delivered on March **They also offered to refund us $for the inconvenience and we have yet to see that payment in our bank account We just called them today on March ** and they told us its now being delivered on March ** How can you have three delivery dates and have your customer satisfied???? We purchased a couch, loveseat, three chairs, and an electric fireplace on June **, 2017, delivered on June **, The loveset arrived with a tear on the seam and the back flap will not fasten where the back and bottom meet The sofa has a scratch on the back and the arm seems to have limited padding This is all leather furniture We notified the store on June **, and provided pictures of the damage and was told someone would contact us We have followed up with several emails with more promised someone will call We feel the salesman Shawn B*** has tried to help but is having issues somewhere else in the company I called and asked to speak to our salesman and was told hes wasn't there and they would relay a message I then reached out to the store by phone twice on July *, and asked to speak to someone concerning this issue and spoke to two different people, both of whom were very rude and condescending As of July *, we have had no calls related

I purchased a lifetime leather warranty and I have a tear in the sofa now they refuse to make any concessions or repair the furniture Teresa was very RUDE!!!!!!!!!! She needs better training !!!!!!!!!!!!
We purchased furniture in July with Jennifer convertible at this addressWe were relieved a coffee table that had a assembled that was brokenWe reported it within a week of deliveryIt's been three months that the item has not been replacedWe purchase a warranty for any damagesSo far we haven't been servicedI paid for a new table and reported the damage within a week We were advised by the the person who came to inspect it that they will replace the itemWe then received another service person who wanted to repair itWe got a poor workmeship so I am asking them to replace the tableNo one answers there customer service number I need help please help me get this slighted out

I purchased a leather seater setee plus a matching seater setee on 09/**/for $using an *** credit cardOver the past few weeks I noticed that the surface of the leather is peeling off and I visited the store to make a complaintWhen I arrived there, I saw signs informing me that the store is due to close since it has "lost" its leaseI spoke to the one person in the store and explained the situation only to be told that HO is now handling this complaintI was given a phone number to call and I have done so todayHowever, I was very disappointed to be given a strange statement that the goods are only guaranteed for a yearWhen I returned home, I googled JC and found a large number of similar complaintsI contend that when I purchase leather furniture I am right to expect a life span greater than years

I purchased a love seat/couch set in on April 22, 2017, I was told I would receive the couch within weeks and was assured it would not take any longer so I proceeded with the purchaseI received the love-seat within week with scraps in it (leather furniture) still waiting for that to be fixed and here it is past weeks and I am told I may not receive it POSSIBLY until the end of July (still no concrete date of delivery) I spoke with the senior director Mr, Atta who was supposed to contact me back with a date and a week later still no updateTERRIBLE service!!! In we purchased a five piece living room set specifically looking for leather, because of its durabilityOur bill of sale states specifically that this is "All Leather." After a few years we started noticing that the material was disintegratingWhen I reported it, Jennifer Convertibles was prompt in replacing a few cushionsWhen I asked the repairman who delivered the new cushions why he thought the leather was deteriorating, he informed us that it was not leather, but that Jennifer would continue to replace the furniture if the deterioration continuedIt did continue, and not just a little, but every single item is deteriorating
The old store where we purchased the set no longer exists, and has been moved to a web siteWhen I called Customer Service I was told they no longer replace these items and that they only did it out of courtesy the first timeWord on this material seems to have spread through out the company: they say, as though rehearsed, they don't guarantee

Shawn the regional manager is a liarThis place is terribleShawn sold me two pieces and it turns out only one was in stockHe lied and said I’d have them in daysAfter days he had an associate call and say they don’t have one piece but maybe they’ll have it a couple days laterThen Shawn called back and said he’d guarantee delivery in two weeks then changed his mind again and said a different dateShawn said he’d trust me to go get a truck and pick up the display model and borrow itI said I had one order and it consisted of two pieces not two separate ordersI said I don’t trust him because his story kept changing and I demanded a full refundI said I want my total order when it was promised or I want all of my money backHe finally said he’s give me a refundHOWEVER, he only refunded me for one pieceThis guy is the worst salesman/manager I’ve ever dealt withIn resting reviews it seems this is common for himHe must be a relative of the owner to still have his job

I bought a leather couch in July of I was convinced to buy the warranty and was told it would cover any problems with the couch for years Now only years later the couch is cracking and peeling I contacted the warranty company and they said they don't cover that issue I contacted Jennifer Furniture and they told me all they can do is give me a 20%off of the next purchase Why would I buy anything from them again when they are such poor quality?? I asked them to stand by their product especially because a couch shouldn't be peeling after years! They have ignored my emails and refuse to help me with this issue
I purchased the Arthur piece sectional sofa in store along with the ottoman and insurance
The above couch mentioned was delivered on March **, After a few uses we noticed the chaise lounge was squeaking loudly and the couch in the middle looked as if it was sinking inward
We called and had a technician in our home on July *, He took apart the chaise lounge and said “these pieces of woods are warped, this needs replacing.”
He also stated everything else looked fineI insisted he take a look at the other part of the couch because by just looking at it you could tell it looked as if it was sinking inHe opened it up and said, “The springs needed replacing” and that he would write it all up and we would hear back from the Claims Departments First issue is that he did not want to open up this part of the couch until I insisted
After assessing the couch and writing up his findings he asked Vincent (my boyfriend) to sign a document and I asked for a copyHe stated “ If I give you a copy it will void your policy.” I have never in my life signed something and not receive a copy, I was furious and asked if I could take a picture of what Vincent signed and he also said it would void my policyI expressed major concern over this and I told Vincent it was a mistake to sign
Vincent was not concerned about thisThis should be something that should be addressed for future customersThe outcome could have been different for us and being that we signed something without receiving a copy we could have signed something we did not want to sign
Also, as the technician was talking to Vincent I sat on the couch and he told me: “Don’t sit there, the couch is broken.” I asked: “Where should I sit? The couch is broken and this is what I have in my living room to sit on until it is replacedHe pointed to the other end of the couch where it is sunk in With all that being said its days and I am not able to sit on my couch since as the technician stated its broken
Vincent received a call from Meryl (roughly a week after the technician came to our home) at the claims Department stating that we were entitled to a replacement and to wait to hear back from the show room with instructions/steps needed to takeWe never heard from the show room

He stated to me that everything was fine and that we needed to wait for the approval from the manager and that we would get a call that week with the approval numberWe never got a call
On July **, 2016, Vincent called the showroom for an updateThey stated that they had nothing in the system regarding this and that I needed a claim # from the claims department before moving forward
I then called on Friday at 6:11pm and asked if they had received anything from the claims department and that we were extremely upset with the processThey did not have any information
I called the claims department as soon as we hung up and they were closed and would not reopen until the following business day
