I visited the showroom and placed an order for a couch September *** I was told by Anthony, the salesman, that the couch would be delivered the week of October *** and that I would receive a call to schedule delivery the week prior
On September ***, I called the showroom to inquire about arranging delivery for the couchThe representative on the phone informed me that the couch would not be available for delivery until after November ***I told the representative that an additional month delay was unacceptable, and that I would like to cancel the orderHe responded that he would see if there was a couch in inventory that could be shipped sooner and would call me backI did not receive a return call

ON 10-**-I ORDERED A COUCH FROM JENNIFER FURNITURE AND WHEN I HAD IT DELIVERED ON SATURDAY
10-**-THE COUCH WAS ALL STAINED I TOLD IMMEDIATELY THE DELIVERY MEN AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD
SEND SOMEONE TO CLEAN IT WHICH I TOLD THEM THAT IT WAS NOT DIRTY IT WAS A STAINED IN THE FABRIC AND
I WAS NOT GOING TO PAY $TO GET A STAINED COUCH IT WAS ALSO STAINED IN THE BACK REST WHERE THE
CUSHIONS ARE PLACED, I CALLED THE STORE IMMEDIATELY TO COMPLAIN THE MEN WHERE STILL AT MY HOME AND I
EXPLAINED TO MY SALES PERSON THAT I REFUSE TO HAVE A COUCH WITH STAINS IN IT AND THAT I WAS REFUSING & CANCELING MY ORDER THAT I WANTED MY MONEY BACK ON MY CREDIT CARDIT TOOK DAYS TO HEAR FROM THEM, MY SON AND I WENT DIRECTLY TO THE STORE SPOKE TO THE STORE MANAGER AND HE SAID THAT BECAUSE THE DELIVERY MEN DID NOT WRITE ON THE WORK ORDER THAT I REFUSED THE COUCH FOR DAMAGE AND THEY HAD NO SIGNATURE THAT THEY COULD RETURN THE MONEY EXCEPT THE DELIVERY CHARGE AND I PAID $ON MY CRED

This company is a frued do not purchase anything from themI purchased a sofa the was supposed to be genuine leather with the warranty coverage The sofa was plasticStarted falling apart two weeks after I received itCalled the store where I purchased the sofa for them to tell me to call the warranty companyThe warranty company tells me they don't cover seams come apart or discolorationCall the store back the incompetent sell representative never filled a claimNow I am stuck with a cheap sofa that is 2years old and looks like it's 10years oldI will never purchase anything there and I will be sure to notify people I know not to buy anything from them

I recently bought a lot of furnitures at Jennifer Convertables located in Carle Place, NY and I had terrible experience
It took the company times to deliver my furnitures and even so, there are items that are still missing at this point When the company calls to schedule the time for the delivery, I asked them to confirm what items being delivered to make sure they have everything, they told me that the "only make the call, they don't know what items are being delivered" so you don't know what you're getting until they actually show up at your house
First, when we went to the store to schedule the delivery, we scheduled it for Friday 9/**/ However, the store manager Cinthya changed it to Sunday 9/**/and didn't bother to call and tell us
The 3rd time they made the delivery, which was supposed to be the last time, we were still missing a bed and a mirror When I called the store to ask about it, the store manager Cinthia blaimed me for not telling her what was missing I told her that everytime they deliver, there was a list of the items so she should know what had been delivered and what was still missing She was rude and argumentative and at some point during the conversation, she hung up the phone on me Then she told me when I called back that she didn't know where the missing items were at that point She said she would find out the next day and get back to me which she never did Throughout this conversation, she kept repeting that it was my fault that she didn't know about the missing items I had to call the store back to talk to someone else who found out that the missing items were transferred to the wrong warehouse When I called customer service to complain about this store and how the store manager conducted business, I was promised a call from the Regional Manager "John" to resolve the issue Well, days later I still have not heard from that manager Obveiously, customer service is not important to him Most of the company's representatives we talked with were rude
Throughout my life, I receive excellent customer service and porr customer service and anywhere in between However, Jennifer Convertables really broke the records for me in terms of poor customer service I don't usually rate my experience online However, I'll make an exception this time and give my rating on this experience I don't want anyone to experience what I had to go through with Jennifer Convertables

I purchase a sofa and loveseat from Jennifer Convertibles it was delivered on April **, The sofa was sinking in already and we complained to the companyThey sent a person to the house to check and they even realized there was an issue with the firmness of the cushionsWe asked for a new sofa and they declined that request and they would send someone to repair itIt was determined on June **, that the sofa needs a new pad and web for all cushionsIt is now August **, and I have had only one cushion delivered to my houseNo repair done whatsoever and I am totally unsatisfied with what has transpired so farAt this point I would like the sofa to be replaced, as it does not seem they are going to repair it

We purchased a couch, loveseat, three chairs, and an electric fireplace on June **, 2017, delivered on June **, The loveset arrived with a tear on the seam and the back flap will not fasten where the back and bottom meet The sofa has a scratch on the back and the arm seems to have limited padding This is all leather furniture We notified the store on June **, and provided pictures of the damage and was told someone would contact us We have followed up with several emails with more promised someone will call We feel the salesman Shawn B*** has tried to help but is having issues somewhere else in the company I called and asked to speak to our salesman and was told hes wasn't there and they would relay a message I then reached out to the store by phone twice on July *, and asked to speak to someone concerning this issue and spoke to two different people, both of whom were very rude and condescending As of July *, we have had no calls related

I purchased a leather seater setee plus a matching seater setee on 09/**/for $using an *** credit cardOver the past few weeks I noticed that the surface of the leather is peeling off and I visited the store to make a complaintWhen I arrived there, I saw signs informing me that the store is due to close since it has "lost" its leaseI spoke to the one person in the store and explained the situation only to be told that HO is now handling this complaintI was given a phone number to call and I have done so todayHowever, I was very disappointed to be given a strange statement that the goods are only guaranteed for a yearWhen I returned home, I googled JC and found a large number of similar complaintsI contend that when I purchase leather furniture I am right to expect a life span greater than years

The left arm rest sinks to the floor and the seat cushion sinks to the left, making it uncomfortable to sit inThe started happening about two months after deliveryJennifer Convertanlex was contacted and a repair was made about says laterThis repair started to fail about months later and Jennifer Convertibles was again contactedIt took another 30-days for the repair
Once again, the repair failed 2-months after it was made
The love seat is now sperating in the middleThis issue was also reported within the year of purchase
Jennifer Convertibles is refusing to repair it as they said the repair technician said it was wearThey offered to send another furniture tech out for a second opinion, which we agreed to but after a month of no tech dispatch and ignored emails, we were left with no option other then to request a full refund or replacement

I purchased a sectional from Jennifer convertibles approxa year and a half ago, the couch started to crack and peelI purchased an extended warranty for this couch, which apparently is not honoredThe quality is poor quality It has been fixed for the same problem months agoI'm pretty sure there is a defect or something, but I am being told they will give me 20% off a new couch if I likeThat is totally unreasonable, they sell you the warranty but then don't back it upIt's not like they didn't know I was buying a leather couch

I brought a Cream color leather recliner from Jennifer's Convertibles, the sofa was delivered to me on August ***,2016, and it was and still is damaged it has a small hole in the back and one of the seats is dirtyI informed Jennifer's Convertibles about the damages and they stated that they would order the parts and have them delivered to me to be installedThe parts came the guy came to repair it but could not get an approval to repair the sofaThe company that they hired to deliver the sofa damaged my front door way, there was times when I called an left a voicemail and sent an email to the person that I first spoke to about all of the damages and she did not respond, when I called her one of the customer representatives would not let me speak to her and was very rude

On February **, I was supposed to receive a bed(no mattress) and a dresserI paid $to have this deliveredUpon arrival I was first told they forgot the headboard and would have to take the whole bed backThey asked if I wanted to keep just the frame and foot board and I said I would like to wait until everything is delivered togetherThen they proceeded to start bringing in the dresserAfter they had brought just a few draws upon inspection the draws were scratched and stained with some sort of foreign sunbstanceI then told them that I refused the whole delivery and they just picked up everything and took offI then proceeded to calll the salesman JC from the *** *** location where I purchased the merchandiseIn so many words he told me there was nothing he could do and was very short and standoffish with me with our conversationHe then said he would have to order me a new dresserNow the delivery men smelled horribly from a foreign substance(drug) that stunk

On 2/**/I purchased a sofa & recliner from this store The floor sample was gray microfiber material The items were offered in gray or chocolate brown I ordered brown & paid half the balance due in cash On 3/**/they called to tell me that my delivery date could be 4/**/17, but I had to pay in full before they would set that date The next day I went & paid the balance Today 4/**/I worked half day (lost pay) to wait for my furniture When the delivery guys started to unwrap it in my front yard, I noticed that the sofa was a leather material, not the microfiber One of the guys called the warehouse (I assume) & put me on the phone to explain that the furniture was incorrect I was told that the store would call me shortly, the furniture was wrapped back up & put back on the truck Almost hrs later I went to the storeThe employee (Jack), said he knew nothing of the problem He called the district manager & left a messageHe gave me a #

On Oct** I purchased a reclining sofa and received it on November *** 2017.On the *** of November I noticed ,while cleaning, that the sofa had a defect, the springs were protruding in the back of the sofa.The next day November *** I returned to the store with a picture and showed it to the sales lady that had helped me with the purchaseAt this time I requested a replacement.She gave me Jennifers customer service number to call *** *** ***.I called them on November *** and they sented a gentlemen out on December *.He took a picture and said that someone would contact me in a couple of days.Noone had called by December *** so I called them back on Tuesday December ***They stated they were working on it,and I received a call on Thursday December *** from the repair people telling me that someone would be coming out the following week to repair the defectI explained to them that the sofa was defective and I needed a replacement not a repairI was told by the repai

I purchased my original mattress with Jennifer Furniture about months agoI began to notice that the mattress was sinking in and so I contacted the claims departmentThey agreed that the mattress was defective and switched out the mattress for another oneHowever when the new mattress arrived I realized that the measurements were off and it did not fit my bed frame like my previous one didI again contacted the claims department and sent photos over and again they agreed that this was an issue and said that they would exchange the mattress outThey sent a third mattress (that I did not accept) because again the measurements were not correct for my bed frameI have asked for a refund just to resolve this issue and I was told that they do not issue refunds but they could give me a refund as long as I agree to pay for 30% of the mattress as well as a delivery feeOr my other option being that I am stuck with a mattress that does not fit my frameAt this point I am unsure what to

On 05/**/I entered the Jennifer convertibles on *** *** *** * *** ** *** to purchase a sofa bedThe staff was very helpful and after touring the store we finally picked a sofa bed to fit our homeThe issue was days later trying to arrange delivery, the sale person at the time when we purchase informed us that with in three days they would delivery the Sofa bedAfter numerous calls and given the run around they gave us a two week delivery dateThe delivery date was an inconvenience because we were given a hour window during the week , On a date and time frame in which our child had a medical appointment which he would had to rearrange because of the delivery time frameWhen we ask for a reasonable delivery time, they couldn't accommodate us and informed us the next available delivery date would be a month from now because they only travel upstate once a monthWhen we ask about canceling the order they inform us of surcharges for canceling the The contract never stated a reference of a cancelation fee before delivery We were informed that there was nothing they could about the deliveryThank you Jennifer convertibles for inconveniencing working families

I bought a couch from the online system Once the couch arrived I made a claim to the company on why the cushions were already sinking inThis couch is in a adult home with no children and is hardly used especially only after weeksSo after weeks of them sending a wrong products because they never looked at the pictures and the name of the couch given they went from a prior orderwhen they finally got the right info and sent the product it was not sent complete and the technician also agreed with me that the couch is broken in the sleeper areai had mentioned this to the supervisor in customer serviceI have mentioned since the beginning that I just want my money backThis is to much hassle for a brand new couch that one would think would come in brand new perfect condition I mean that is why we bought itIt is now January this has been on going since OctoberI just want me my money back

I purchased an expensive sectional because I thought the price tag would be worth the qualityWhen the guys delivered it, they completely shattered the wood behind the couch against the wall and tried to cover it upI didn't see this until I was vacuuming and realized it was brokenNot even a month after my purchase, the couch started pillingbadI called customer service who said they had to send a service technician out hereThey service company never called me, so after a week I called Jennifer Convertibles back and asked if I could call them myselfI called, and it brought me right to their machineI left a message saying I can be home at any time, but I would like the soonest appointmentThey never called backAfter a few weeks of going back and forth with Jennifer Convertibles, they set up an appointment for mea month away was their soonestThe technician comes, sees the damage, orders the new covers and says he'll come back when they're deliveredIt took over a monthAnd then another month for him to have availbilty to come backWhen he showed up, he replaced only half of the covers because he never ordered the other half, and brought in pieces of wood and a hand saw to fix the broken part of the couchHe did this right in my living room, leaving chunks of wood and sawdust everywhereHe never followed up with the second halfI had to call and order them myself, and by the time they came (weeks later) the new covers were completely pilled AGAINI call Jennifer Convertibles, tell them the situation, and they said they're sending the same guy out againI asked for someone else, they got annoyed and said "well now it's going to take longer"It's not months since I bought my couch and it's still pillingThey've discontinued the couch so clearly it's defectiveI just want my money back and to get rid of this defective couch

I ordered furniture on April ** 2017, paid in full and was told it would be delivered in 8-weeksDid not arrive in that time period of time, told me another time frame, again it is delayedI emailed that I wanted my full refund credited to my credit card, $Have not heard from them at all, no email or phone call

I purchased a sectional sofa in November with the "ELITE PROTECTION PLAN" .....This plan is a complete rip off...I have submitted a claim for a cleaning and here is the dealFirst...you call the company and open a claimThis means they listen to you and mail you a package with a small envelope of a chemical that they want me to use to clean the couch myselfAfter that failsyou must mail them the package with copies of your original receipt and they will "Process" and call you backNothing.......I call....and I am in some long drawn out process and they tell me that I have to wait
