Hello -I purchased a dining room set for my parents from Rooms To Go nearly a year agoRecently one of the chairs we purchased broke (on the area where you sit)I called in to Customer Service and a technician was sent outThe technician then reported that the chair was broke due to "excessive force" of a child jumping on the chairFirst of all, my children DO NOT jump on chairs, they may kneel on chairs, but they certainly DO NOT jump and second of all my children both weigh about pounds so I'm not sure that pounds of "excessive force" should be able to break this chairWhen Customer Service called me to tell me they were not going to replace the chair they went on to argue with me and say that, "If it was a manufacturing defect the chair would have broke earlier." Purchased a new Queen Bed set with a storage drawers When RTG delivered and set it up I noticed the entire side drawer was scrapped
On 11/1/ordered a queen bed set It was delivered over a month later on 12/29/At the time of delivery there was a huge scrap across the entire side drawer on the baseI was told by the delivery guys that they noted the order and RTG would be contacting me about the damaged drawer I never got a call, so I called the customer support number on 2/22/and they stated they they didnt have anything noted on the account I explained the situation to the rep and they stated they would process the order to have it replaced - it would be 7-days and it would arrive at my house via UPS 7-day came and went without any delivery or followup phone call from RTG

I CALLED THE STORE IN DUNN AND ASKED THEM TO NOT DELIVER, BECAUSE I DID NOT AUTHORIZED THE PURCHASETHEY WOULD NOT CANCELL ORDER, AND IT WAS MY CREDIT THAT GOT THE CREDIT CARD THAT HE WAS USINGTHEY EVEN CHARGED MORE ON THE CARD AFTER I CANCELED THE CARD ON NOVEMBER 27, FIRST OF ALL, HOW CAN YOU CHARGE ITEMS AFTER THE CARD IS CANCELLED? Very frustrated with their delivery service
I purchased a bed and night stand for my mom back in February and the first delivery day, they didn't have the slats for the bed so they left all the pieces sitting in my mom's room until the next day and my mom had to sleep on my couch Then when they returned the next day with the slats, the mattress fit poorly Come to find out out they sent out a Queen mattress for a full-size bed So AGAIN we had to have them deliver the correct part I did not lodge a complaint that time, just chalked it up to frustration
So now last week (October 2018) I purchased a bed and nightstand for my son, They text me and say my delivery window is 2-6pm So I take time off from work to be there and about 4pm, they call and say the delivery person is deliveries behind so my new window is 5-9pm Frustrated that I had to take off work to wait for a delivery that didn't come in the window they scheduled and now I had to change my evening plans to wait even longer Then around 8:30pm, they call and say he is still deliveries behind and my window is extended to 10pm I wanted to go to bed, but I stayed up waiting By 10:15pm with no show and no call, I went to bedThis morning, I am at work and get a call that they are on their way to my house right now! Thanks for the heads up since I am at work!!!! Thankfully, my daughter had not left for classes yet and they ended up waking her up to deliver it
I am still due a desk, but plan to go by the store and either have it delivered to the store and I will pick it up myself or cancel the order I don't ever plan to buy anything from Rooms To Go again
I understand they have to provide a window for deliveries, but they act like the rest of us don't have to work for a living and can just be home whenever they feel like showing up
Fool me once, shame on me Fool me twice, you can count on me never shopping there again and I will definitely tell all my friends and co-workers about it

I am or have been paying my bill on time lately but they still denied me credit on my card paid as told
I been paying my account now for years a few times late and I was told to keep my account up to date for a year they would restore my credit account so I can get credit at the store or on my card and they lied to me and said they couldn't do it but I still pay every month always more than due but my credit is no good with you no longer how can a business advertised no payment and no interest for 24months but it's not for me because I am Black or what my blood is red same as yours I'm paying but no credit for me

Worst manager I've ever dealt with!
We went in to purchase a black Natasha mattress by Beauty Rest that we have been looking at since November of last year The salesman by the name of Dawayne talked us into purchasing a different mattressSaid it was a better dealHowever it was horrible to sleep on I called the store and told them that I was not happy with it and wanted to exchange it for the bed that I originally wanted The manager told me that as long as I was exchanging it for equal or high value I could do that, I was happy to hear that they were going to make it right, however upon arriving at the store the manager who's name is Tonya told me I had to keep the power base and could not return it...so I could only exchange the mattress top This cost me an extra dollars to return the mattress plus it cost me an additional 1800$ because I was forced to keep the power base that I didn't want to keep
