I purchased an outside umbrella from RoomsToGo for $1,It was delivered on December by RoomsToGo delivery menWhen they opened the package the men said they had 'never put one together before? but they would try to do it When they could not figure it out I told them to just leave it and I contacted RoomsToGo customer service I asked them to send someone else to assemble the umbrella On January the RTG customer service agent showed up and examined the umbrellaHe said that in trying to assemble the umbrella the two delivery men had broken the mechanism that stabilizes the umbrella when it is openHe said the umbrella could not be fixed and they would have to get me a new oneWhen I called the store to find out how long that would take, I was told they could no longer get me the exact umbrella I had purchased They could replace it with a smaller version and in a different color than I had originally pickedI told them no, I wanted what I had originally purchased

hello I bought some couches on 8/18/order#(XXXXXXXX) for the rooms to go labor day sale I found some couches that they had on the show room floor I didnt see anything wrong with them from the top view when I took them home and was pulling the recliner out we noticed a little tear on the bottom of the recliner a place where you wouldn't be able to see it with out someone else looking at it reclinedi didnt want a refund I was just asking if they would repair the item since it is only one part of partsi didnt know about this flaw when I purchased these couches if I would have seen this I would have told the sales rep and asked for a cheaper price or swapi also have pictures of the flaw that I took as soon as we noticed iti paid cash for my items and the guy working the phone told me I would be in contact with the store manager but I have yet to hear from this person and the guy on the phone made it seem like its my probl

What arrived at my house was absolutely horrible entertainment piece with shelves tilted down unable to tighten because of missing hardware then told I could not return it because that is not their policy. Never again will I shop at rooms to go.

Last July I bought a Key West model bedroom set in Rooms to Go at 2121 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33409. The set consists of a queen bed, two night tables and a chest. The bed has a mattress that can be lifted with a remote control and a conventional mattress on top of it. The delivery took place a few days after the purchase and the staff put together the set in a defective manner, so that the side boards of the bed are released from the head and foot board without any reason. Our repeated phone calls resulted that a team of customer service was presented to try to solve the problem, but without success. This nightmare is that no matter what movements occur on the bed, it is dismantled spontaneously at the slightest contact and the foot board falls apart by itself, without even touching it. Is for this reason that we need to use an inflatable mattress while we need to keep paying the monthly payments for a defective product. Our demand is that we want to change the bed for another one of the same kind, but that will be armed in a professional way. The mattress with the remote control separates the upper mattress far away from the head board leaving a large separation between the two of them, so anything that is in that spot falls to the floor. We don't want that mattress anymore.

I recently purchased a dinning room set from Rooms To Go. When the delivery arrived I had been sent the wrong table and a few of the chairs had been damaged during the shipping and had to be returned. A few days later I got my new chairs and the right table. The table I received was scratched up and damaged in a few spots but I elected to keep it due to the hassle of it all up to that point. The manager at the store location did give me a small discount on the table due to the fact that the day my order was placed the sales person had charged me for the wrong table and that was why I had received the wrong table on delivery. A few months into using the table (only twice) the wood started bubbling up. I'm guessing something had been spilled on it which tends to happen on kitchen tables. The table was still under the factory warranty but Rooms To Go would not replace it and it can not be fixed.... I will not be buying from Rooms To Go again. The furniture is cheap and apparently warranties mean nothing.

I purchased my hose a month ago so I decided to go to ROOMS TO GO and get my new furniture. When I got there one of the sales representative named [redacted] located in XXXXX s Dixie hwy helped me. Everything was fine in the moment of showing me all the furniture available but at the moment of paying this lady told me that she was giving me a "FREE WARRANTY" for all the furniture. I told her, Why will you give it to me for free? and one more time she told me and explained to me that it was FREE. When I got home I started doing the Math because I work in a dealership for about 10 years and im a Finance Manager and I know how this warranty works. There is nothing free in USA. A few days past and I went to speak to the manager RENE which was very nice person. I explained to him [redacted] lie at me and that I want my refund back. He refund me my $200 back but if I have to go to that store again she will be the last person I will speak with. Don't lie to customers! You will lose them! We as customers should always know that nobody give you nothing for free. and don't let no one lie at you when your money is in between.

I had the worst experience with Rooms to Go! I bought furniture from them over a week ago and delivery was scheduled for yesterday from 1-5 pm. I left work at 12ish to meet them at my house because they would not give me an estimate or timetable as to when they would arrive. Well, needless to say I waited around and no one ever showed up. Well, about 4:30 almost 5pm they call and say that they are running behind and that they were changing the time frame to anytime between 5 and 7pm and that they would call me when they were on their way. I hang up and then proceed to call customer service where I was placed on hold and after ten minutes on hold they disconnect the call. I proceeded to call them back again and I proceed to tell the lady on the phone that I was not happy about this at all because I took off work to meet them and they weren't even courteous enough to call and tell me this earlier. I tell the lady that this was unacceptable because I have a life and I have things planned already for the afternoon and that I should be compensated or reimbursed or something for this inconvenience. She puts me on hold and comes back on the phone and tells me that she cannot reimburse my delivery but that she can give me a $25.00 merchandise credit. I proceed to ask for a manager at this point and she puts me on hold again and then comes back and tells me that she can reimburse me half my delivery fee. So I accepted that and she again stated that the driver will call me when he was on his way. So again I waited around and my husband calls and I tell him what happened with the delivery. He calls the Glenwood Ave Raleigh NC store and he calls me back stating that they said the delivery has been canceled and that were now going to deliver the furniture the next day. I told him that could not be right because I was just on the phone and the lady said they were coming today and that driver would call me when he was on his way. It is now about 6pm. So I call the store and inquire about this and she says we told your husband that the truck has broken down and they will be coming tomorrow with the furniture and that they would be reimbursing him half of the delivery fee. At this point I was beyond [redacted] and I instructed the lady to cancel the whole entire ORDER. I will not nor can I afford to miss any more time at work because of some furniture delivery and I did not want the furniture ANYMORE and I wanted my money back. She proceeds to tell me because I paid with a debit card it would take 10-12 business days and they would be sending a check from corporate. I hung up the phone and I proceeded to the store at this point because I wanted a refund and nothing else to do with Rooms to go. When I get to the store and ask for a manager he proceeds to tell me that he apologizes for the inconvenience but he could not give me a refund until the furniture was back at the warehouse. I ask him how long this would take and he says it should be there in a day or two. He then proceeds to say that he could give me a refund at the store if I come back in and swipe my debit card. I ask him why did the lady say over the phone that they it would take 10-12 business days, he says it was because the she didn't read all the paperwork. This pretty much tells me that she just said anything to get me off the phone. He then proceeds to tell me that he can DO ME A FAVOR and deliver the furniture for free if I still wanted it. I told him NO, I do not want the furniture and I wanted my money back ASAP. So he tells me to come back on Monday and swipe my debit card and the money will go back on my card. Well, this morning I get a call from Rooms to Go as I am on my way to work and the lady says that the driver is running early and that they would be at my house in a matter of minutes. I tell the lady that the order was canceled and that no one should be delivering anything. This tells me that no one ever canceled my order!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING AT ROOMS TO GO EVER AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW AND DON'T KNOW ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. AND IF I DONT GET MY MONEY BACK IN A TIMELY MANNER I WILL BE PURSUING LEGAL ACTION!!!","neg-1
