Misrepresentation of Product
We purchased a bedroom set worth $about a month agoDuring the sales process, our salesman specifically mentioned that the bed that we were buying would need any extra pieces and the mattress would fit directly on the bedI made it a point to specifically question this because most other beds we purchased had slats/box springs the mattress would rest onAs a result, when the bed was delivered we told the delivery people to take away our box springsThere was a problem with the order and the bed delivery date had to be rescheduledWhen the bed was installed the second time, we were told that we needed to buy an extra piece because the bed only had slats and there was the danger of the mattress falling throughThis was again in direct contrast to what we were told when the purchase was madeNow we're left with a $bedroom set that cannot be used unless I spend more moneyThe sales team has refused to take responsibility for this oversight
Defects occurred to my set of furniture when Rooms To Go applied wrong materials to them, under their three year protection plan

The worst experience I have ever had buying furniture, from sales to store manager, arrogance and not helpful at all, I got cheated out of $The fault was on their end and I get cheated out of my money, I called corporate, the girl was very nice and agreed with me and that it looked like I over payed, the way the manager did it, I lost moneyI paid $for furniture that never fully got delivered, six weeks later I still did not have my complete set, I paid cash, btw, I go back to resolve the issue and the manager offers me the option to switch out because that manufacturer they have had a lot of problems with, so I do, the new set cost $the difference is $275.00, well the way they do it, I end up getting back $That makes no sense to me, I just lost $I will never buy from them or recommend them to anyone else!

Our furniture was delivered on 12/28/- the delivery people placed our boxed furniture in puddles, used hand trucks when the box stated not to Support poles for bed slats were missing and we were not informed and a piece of the dresser was damaged (this could have been manufacturer defect or mishandling of delivery crew)
We made our exchange date for 1/4/as this is not our permanent residence and we have to drive over 2hrs to be here Our delivery time was between 1- At we received our only phone call to inform that our delivery would be no later than 6pm At 730pm we called to get an update and was told that there were a few deliveries ahead of us but that we would get delivered by 10pm
We have a child who goes to bed at 830pm and kept her up so that a delivery would not wake her up No one called and Customer Service was closed
We contacted RTG this morning (still no contact from RTG on their behalf) We were told once that there was no information about what happened Upon being transferred, we were told that out delivery was skipped but no word as to why
We have been on the phone for over an hour trying to speak to a supervisor but keep getting placed into the queue only to speak with non-supervisor We have been transferred times
We have not been helped whatsoever We have been told different stories from different people Our furniture is suppose to be on the truck and they are to pick up our damaged furniture But now, they state they can't do just a return with the current truck/delivery person (They were going to pick up the furniture anyway why could they not pick ours up?)
So, I guess to summarize
We had damaged furniture
Missing pieces to furniture
Missed delivery time
Missed delivery date in it's entirety
No Communication from RTG regarding tardiness and ultimately non-delivery
We were told that the driver's phone was off and couldn't be reached
Have been refused to speak to a supervisor (based on all transfer calls not going to sup)
No information being given
Now, we have to take yet a 3rd trip up here to have our furniture picked up This is time away from work and family
This seems to be a repetitive issue with RTG how they have a good rating on Revdex.com is beyond me
**Update** FINALLY got our 1st call from RTG and the delivery manager He cared very little for my issues as he's only delivery and does not handle returns When I informed him of what all happened, he responds with"thanks for letting me know" and proceeds to get off the phone
