Delivery issues with RTG I purchased $7,worth of Furniture in advanceDelivery was set to 12/I requested for delivery date to be moved days later because the house is not ready yetRooms to go said I had to wait until end of January (months) because if I change my delivery date, they will give my furniture to other customers with back ordersThis is unfair practice because the items are in stock and I have purchased them already Just because RTG is running out of stock, they will give the furniture I purchased to other customers

I purchase a base and a Mattress on 03/26/and the mattress is damaging my back from the inside metal material I contacted Rooms to go they said that they need to evaluate the mattress and honestly the experience from day one was extremely unprofessional the total sale was $ the order number XXXXXXXX the first mattress was not as expected and they told me that no refund can be issue I was force to purchase a base when we call for information the told me that we will have days to return the mattress that was an incorrect information according to the store manager that was very unprofessional this second mattress and base combination is the words ever bad quality of product
I never received the furniture I paid for and now I can't get my refund either On May 1st, I paid over 4,in cash for living and dining room furnitureI tried over times, to have this furniture deliveredDispatch was horrible and misquoted times continuously leaving me waiting and missing work obligations and my son's athletic eventsOn the last attempt on June 1,2016, I waited at home for the entire day (9am until 11pm) and no delivery was madeI was calling customer care the entire day and I was being told that I was the next delivery, the truck was on their way, the guys were one stop away, etcI called the next morning and I was told the truck broke down.Finally, I went to the store for my refund and was told I had to get my refund and was told that I had to be given a check even though I paid cashThe check took days to be mailed to me and was then sent to me in the wrong nameAnother careless mistake, after numerous times calling "customer care" and combined hour
We purchased a bed in July and it was delivered and put together by RTGWhen the bed was put together the screws were stripped The order number is XXXXXXXXThe bed was purchased on 7/22/and delivered on 7/28/The total price was $1, We purchased the bed and got it delivered and assembledWhen we went to move on 7/27/18, the movers could not get the bed apart because all of the screws were strippedWe were paying them by the hour and they had to stop everything, take the truck to Home Depot to buy a special tool to get the screws offThey couldn't get them all off but they got enough out to move the bedThey needed the rest out in order to get it upstairs in the new houseWe had to call RTG who told us the warranty was voided because we moved it from the original addressNOBODY told us that when we bought itWe were one day away from the warranty and could not use itThey had to send someone out to disassemble the bed to get it up but said they could not
Zero Stars - Attacked by Delivery personnel and property was damaged Police and emergency services were contacted RTG obviously does not properly vet their delivery employees putting their customers at risk They also then refused to send anyone to properly install the furniture nor uphold the additional warranty purchased We have purchased and had delivery of furniture from RTG previously, in addition to having a RTG Inspector on a property a couple hours prior to the event without issue, so obviously it is a RTG issue not their Customers that have spent over $in less than months In trying to get this issue addressed with RTG we were placed on hold many times, with the issue not being handled with the urgency it deservedBeing a retired VP of Quality of a major corporation with Customer Service reporting into me I know for sure we continue not to be handled as valuable customers I will continue to spread the word to ensure other potential costumers can be aware of the risks involved in dealing with RTG Fortunately we have RING video of how RTG treats their Customers
I purchased a sofa from Rooms To Go (RTG) and had problems with the quality of it from the first weekI recently had an issue with a seat cushion foam flatteningI reached out to the president of RTG who was swift to have his secretary respond and assist meThey attempted to assist me by replacing the seat cushion that was defectiveHowever, the new cushion they sent was off in color and grossly larger/ fuller than the originalI'm posting this review to let people know when you contact the head of a company they will attempt to assist you; however, the problem is the people they have to rely on to assist you furtherI sent pictures showing the President's secretary the cushion so she could see the color and size differenceThe secretary informed me they would not be assisting me further because they sent me the cushion at no cost to meThe secretary was cold in her email response and the people in the factory clearly over stuffed the cushionIt's like she's saying I should be grateful to have a discolored extremely large cushion because it was free! Damaged Furniture From the first purchase my items were damaged, the dinning room table was chipped, the sofa had issues, the lap did not show up, the bed was missing the headboard. Now the sofa has a broken leg on it and the scratch is still on the other piece and it hasn't been replaced. My chairs have faded or turned pink from writing or clothes or IDK what and it needs to be repaired. I ordered two more chairs that do not match and was told I'd have to cover the shipping price if I wanted to return them. I have had nothing but horrible service.
I have shopped with RTG for several years and have never received such poor service cheap furniture It took my five visits to RTG efore I decided on what my purchases should beOur Sales person (James) seem to do his job and make us happy customers but my bedroom set didn't come in as orderedIt took several calls to customer service which were not the best experience to have knobs put on the dresserThe first technician that came out said it was to much for him to which wasted my time and caused me to miss my sons gameThe second technician came out completed that issueI have not had the furniture for days and the bed foot boards are already peelingI am paying to much to have received cheap furniturePlus I've called customer service and has not had any solutions and I continue to be inconvenienced

Rooms to Go delivered incorrect furniture, their delivery service was disrespectful and the company didn't provide a proper solution. Two years ago I bought a leather bonded sleeper sofa from Rooms to Go. Since then the leather gradually began to strip off the sofa. In early July I went to Rooms to Go with pictures of the stripped leather and they told me they no longer carry leather bonded sofas because of this very issue and exchanged my sofa for a new leather sleeper sofa. I exchanged the new sofa on July 8 but they did not have any in stock and therefore had to deliver it on Sept. 6. On Sept. 6. they delivered a damaged sofa, which of course we did not accept. I was ok with this and made arrangements for a new delivery date and asked only that it be delivered prior to Oct. 1 because we have a guests coming to stay with us that need the sleeper sofa. I think this company needs to seriously consider revamping their delivery process This process seems to work only for the company and not the customer I have spent just around $purchasing a complete bedroom set No one should have to wait all day to get a delivery They can't possibly believe that someone should take a complete day from work to get an order Their customer service department is very robotic and does not try to accommodate the customer This is absolutely the last time I will give them $of my money They are quick to take an order and once you pay the customer service ends there I don't know of any other company who imprisons a customer to receive an order I will not recommend this company to my enemy!

My mother financed a dinner table from Rooms to Go (RTG) 11/2016, and the table is now in need of repairWhen my mother contacted RTG to have someone come and repair the table, she was treated rudely and told she no longer has warranty in place for repairs to the dinner table she is still making payments on I (***) then contacted RTG corporate office and spoke with Donavan (whom was also extremely rude and abrupt) , who also refused to listen and help my mother who is a year-old-woman
