I was deceived by Rooms To Go about the price of a power foundationThe price of the foundation was not disclosed verbally or on my invoice I went into Rooms To Go and needed help to buy a mattressThe sales person took me to different mattress and kept telling me I should buy the foundation that the head and foot went up and downI asked repeatedly how much it was and he would only give me the package price, that include both the mattress and the foundationWhen I asked how much the foundation was I was told "it's only a couple hundred dollarsI ended up purchasing a mattress and the foundation believing the foundation was a "couple hundred" dollarsThere was no break down on my receipt and when I asked about the price that was on the mattress I was told it was cheaper than what was on the tagMy mattress and foundation was delivered on October 3rd,I slept on it one night and it was not the mattress I laid on at the store....it was much too firmI called Customer Servi

I purchased a bedroom suite on 11/25/16, delivery was supposed to be on 12/22/On 12/22/16, the delivery drivers showed up to my house and started unloading the furnitureThey noticed that the wrong pieces were sent for the headboard and told me I would need to contact customer serviceWhile they continued to unload, I contacted customer service to set up a new delivery of the correct pieces for the headboardCustomer Service spoke the delivery gentleman to get the exact pieces needed for the next deliveryThe delivery drivers said they were going to try and see if they couldnt somehow get the bed together so I could use itWhile they were still here working to put the furniture together, someone called to see how the delivery wentFrom what I could see everything was fine and that is what I told themI told the delivery drivers that there was no need to install the drawers that go under the bed since it would have to be taken apart once the next delivery took place so I was left with two boxes of drawersAfter that I had left town for Christmas and came back the following week at which time, I discovered while the original delivery drivers were taking furniture into my room they messed up my wall which now has blue on it from the delivery boxesI was told that because it was over days there was nothing that they could doIt was during Christmas when most people travel and I wasnt at home to look at my walls to determine that someone messed them up and didnt say anything! The following week a second set of delivery drivers came out to see what needed to be done to the headboardIn discussion with them, since all the headboard was missing was the dowls that there was nothing that needed to be doneBoth delivery associates saw the drawers in the boxes in my roomAfter they left, I decided I would go put the drawers in bedTo do this I needed to take the king size mattress off (neither of the delivery drivers first or second times mentioned how much it would take to put the drawers in the bed)In taking the mattress off of the bed, I noticed that when it was delivered it was ripped on the bottom and neither of the delivery associates said a thing to me when this was done and were hoping that they would just get away with it because I wouldnt see it since they went ahead and put it on the bedAgain I had to call customer service to see about getting a replacementDelivery was again set up for the next week (three weeks out from the original delivery date at this point)After that I installed the drawers to the bed which were very hard for a single woman to do on my ownMy delivery date for my mattress was sent up for 01/At something that night I received a call stating that the delivery driver was running behind and that he would not be there by but would be there by About an hour or so later, I received another call stating that due to the weather (the roads were icy) the driver wasnt going to make it that night (this is totally understandableI would not want them on the roads that were unsafe to deliver anything to me)The guy from customer support then told me that the would set the delivery up for Sunday between and at which time I told him I would not be available until after that dayHe said he would let the delivery manager know thatI assumed I would get another call telling me when they would be coming outOn Sunday Morning at minutes til I received a call from a driver telling me that he was minutes from my houseAt which time, I told him I had told the guy who called on Friday night I would not be available until after He said ok so I assumed that he would come at some point after Later that afternoon I had not heard from anyone so I called the local store and spoke with a managerThat manager said that he would refund my delivery fee, and have someone come fix my wall and have someone call me to reschedule my delivery of the mattress exchangeThat was on Sunday, It is Wednesday and I still have not heard from anyoneI called the local store and spoke with a different manager todayHe said that he could see where the delivery fee was refunded (I still have not seen it yet) and that everything else would have to be handled by customer serviceI asked why I was told on Sunday by the other manager that he would get it setup for me or have someone call me to set it up and he couldnt answer thatI was then transferred to customer support and at first was told that she didnt even see an order for me and then she found where a dresser was returned (i havent ordered and returned a dresser)Finally she was able to find my account and reschedule the delivery for next weekNow this is almost two months after I ordered the furniture in the first placeAt this point I would just like to return the furniture and be done with itThis is the second time I have ordered furniture from Rooms to Go and had issuesI will never purchase there again
All the seams are coming out of my replacement couch and I am being told it cant be replaced I purchased rooms of furniture in May When the furniture was delivered, it took coffee tables to get one not damagedI worked with Michelle Lto finally get a table not damaged and she did refund me approximately $because I had to miss work for appointmentsThen I had to have the chairs to the dining room table replaced several times because they kept breakingOne even literally fell apart when someone sat in itSo in June Michelle Lagreed to give us an entirely new tableWe bought a new table in June Now less than a year later the veneer is coming offAlso in Spring the mechanism on the powered couch brokeSo they replaced the couchLess than a year later, all the seams are coming out of the second couchIt is coming out on all three cushions (bottom and back), the reclining part, the arms and even the back of the couchSo I called in January
Salesman (Raymond) intentionally lied to me about the in store credit interest rate in order to obtain a sale. On Tuesday July 25, 2017 @ 1730 I went to Rooms To Go on Forum Dr. and was working with a salesman named Raymond. I had picked out furniture and started discussing credit options with Raymond. I asked him how much would the interest be if I didn't pay the amount off how much would the interest be and he replied only 13%. I double and triple confirmed it with him. I was content with that interest rate and was ready to run my credit. I gave him my info to run my credit as he was doing this I continued looking around at furniture with my friend. My friend walked past the main desk and saw a pamphlet for credit and brought it to me and the credit phaphlet stated that the interest was 29.99% not 13%. Raymond called me over to tell me that I was approved for credit and I asked him about the pamphlet which was not provided to me by him and asked if what was in the pamphlet. Raymond

Constant issues with delivery and product damage and misrepresentation of goods I purchased a bed with drawers that was on display in store with a price tag that I paid. I specifically told sales person I wanted drawers. I was sold the bed that was on display for the sale price. After researching a sales paper, I discovered the bed did not have drawers. I was told I could pay $500 more to get the one with drawers. I ended up keeping the one without drawers for the lower price. I called the manager of the store with my complaint (that the item on display in the store should reflect the price of THAT item and was met with an apology that the salesman was new). I then wrote the CEO explaining my concerns and received no word. When the bed arrived, it had a chip in the footboard. They replaced that a week later. Okay. Fast to Sell, but the WORST to deliver! We acquired a Drop Lid Desk and a Full Sofa-Bed, and the Desk that was supposed to be available immediately took more than weeks and a halfThe sofa-bed took almost two monthsApart from that when they finally brought the sofa-bed they forgot the "legs", so they just left in the middle of the living room, said they will bring them back, but "as expected" nobody has called, nobody has contacted us in regards to the missing legs of the sofa-bedI had to call and now they will order the legs of the sofa and then after we receive them, they will schedule somebody to come and install them (I estimate that will take another month to be completed) Honestly, can't you do any better than this?!
