We are still paying the balance on furniture which is falling apart
We purchased a couch, ottoman, and recliner last JanuaryWe assumed it would last a long time, and spent almost $2000, which we put on a payment plan with another 1+ years to goAbout months ago, the couch cushions started to failIt feel like sitting in a pitWe have done nothing abusive to the furniture, just use them as they were designed to useThe recliner began falling apart, and a technition from the store came out to address itWhen we attempted to address the failing couch cushions he simply said, "Yeah, that's what happensThere is no recourseThe foam fails and there is nothing you can do about itWe cannot even get replacement foamSo our couch is useless because it gets worse every day, but we are still paying it offI have a real problem with this company being aware of their inferior products, and refusing to remedy the issue
I walked in RTG to purchase a living room set The sales person told me I was purchasing a Bonded Leather sofa and sold me an extended warranty for it in case it pealed I called them because my sofa set is peeling and stained When I called customer service they told me warranty doesn't cover the peels because I purchased a polyester sofa I called the store and the supervisor there was rude , insinuated I called because I saw a news report ab the sofas (which I never even new or saw ) and made me feel as if I wanted to take advantage of it He was dismissive and wouldn't let me speak Incredibly rude person I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there

My wife and I are in our late 70's and sometimes we ask our daughter to come and help with certain aspects of buying big items so we do not forget detailsMy daughter came with my wife to Rooms To Go this past Saturday and picked out a living room setWe spoke with Sandra A., the sales associate, and she gave them a price for three piece living room set which had power recliner for both the sofa and chairI came wife my wife today to purchase that package, but then Sandra said that could not give us what she had promised and we would have to pay another $
The manager, Monica W., never came to speak with us regarding this change and why we were unable to get the deal my daughter had discussed and agreed upon the day priorMy wife was confused about what "power reclining" meant and went ahead and signed the agreement

This should have been a simple issue, but it has been handled so poorly by RTGThe delivery guys arrived on 6/They were extremely niceWhile bringing up the mattress set they ran into the light fixture on the wall, in the hallwayThey thought it was ok and kept movingBut, the fixture was pushed back and damagedI notified RTG that same dayI explained that I needed to make them aware of the issueI told them that we have a repairman who I would have look at it and see if he could fix itIf so, I would have him make the repairI explained if he couldn't fix it then I would call backHe explained that he would not be able to assist with the repairs because he is not an electricianI called RTG back the very next day at 3:48PM and told them that I would have to file the claim because our repairman is not able to do electrical work
Company failed to correct an issue with our couch within the warranty period that is clearly a defect during assemblyThey now refuse to fix it
On June 2016, I purchased matching couchesas part of a set, mattresses and a box spring from the Rooms To Go in Kennesaw GAThe order number for the couches is XXXXXXXXXI spent $on the piece setIn April of this year (about months later) I noticed of the couches (the only one without a recliner which gets the least use) had threading pulling out in several spotsNone of the other couches had this problem and one of them is used a LOT more often than the one with the problem stitching
We called customer service to have someone look at it and on May a technician came out and fixed half of the threads that were pulling outWe called them back and kept getting told they would call us back but never wouldBy the time the second appointment finally got scheduled it was on June (technically out of warra
Fabric protection misleading cover
I am having a fabric protection with them and they find out that they can't clean my loveseat and couch and they said we will not cover these items unless a professional cleaner come up and clean it on my own and this need to be proved with a bill so my cover that I never used is not active and they collected money from me and they are not providing their service

Rooms To Go Complaint and Dispute
After researching leather living room furniture, we decided to go and look at Rooms To GoOn February 18, 2017, we went into Rooms To Go - Mall of Georgia Store - to look at Leather Living Room Furniture with a picture print-out from their website The salesman that chose us was told from the very beginning that we wanted LEATHERIn addition to this, we showed him to printed picture from the website of our choice
He showed us several "sets" of leather before we decided we really liked the style of the Brockett Brown Leather - the one we picked out online We chose recliners and one loveseat We also chose to have the Force Field Protection That too, was misrepresented to us on our purchase There is now an active lawsuit against RTG for thisCopy of notification enclosed
We'd had the furniture for about months when I discovered a small "nick" on the side of a recliner Over a time that nick became a bigger defect in the "leatherIt just kept on peeling
I called RTG Customer Service and they immediately set up an appointment for a representative to come to our house and assess the problem
At the appointed time, the representative came to our home and immediately unloaded tool boxes and such to "repair" it Yet, another mis-represenstation! I said no, that I thought real leather didn't peel or nick - only wear with some discoloration and lines and that I'd like to elevate the problem to a higher manager
The Representative called his manager, Stacy NField Supervisor who explained to me that the LEATHER furniture they sold was under Industry Standards of only the seats, arms and tops of stools/leg rest on recliners were real leather - the rest was made with Naugahyde material!
I told him that I would go back to Customer Service to deal with them and that I did not want it repaired MrNadvised me that CS would not talk to me unless I agreed to let it get repaired...which I did
I have enclosed the original date of purchase invoice, pictures of before during and after repair and a picture of the card advising us of the lawsuit for the protectant
We are retired, living alone, no animals and on a fixed income and budget We are very particular about purchases and try to make the best choices Our home is a beautiful, well cared for home in a lake community and we loved the style and color of the pieces that we purchased from RTG
We feel that we have been misled by Rooms To Go and would like a full refund on these pieces of furniture and have then removed from our home We have already been added to the lawsuit over the mis-representation of the Force Field Protection - although I don't believe that our full amount of money we paid for it will be refunded
Our purchase for the furniture was made using a USAA Credit Card that afterwards was replaced due to an attempt of a hacker
I am asking for the assistance of USAA to help us with this complaint in hopes of a full refund so that we can purchase REAL leather for our home
I will be happy to answer any other questions
Thank you very much,
I purchased furniture from rooms to go and have had noting but bad experience from improper bill charges to charging interest on a no interest loan
I purchased furniture on 9/02/from rooms to go in Hoover, AlI was so excited on that day because, I had just closed on my new home and was excited about getting new furnitureMy happiness have turned into a complete nightmareI was made aware at the time of purchase that some of the items would be delayed on delivery but, I still agreed to continue with the sales purchased on the itemsI was never told that I would be billed a separate charge for the itemsIt was never explained to me that my account would be charged again after the delayed furniture would be deliveredI have always assumed that furniture had to be paid for before any delivery would take placeWhen, I received my first bill in Octfrom synchrony bank for $4,the exact amount that I agreed to payI did not see where they took off for an item that
Breach of Warranty, Rooms to Go stating issue not warranted
Purchased Queen Oakville Ranch mattress on 09/18/17, realizing in April the mattress has a defectWith use, the plush top seems have been constructed incorrectlyThe top is shifted toward one side looking as though it was attached at an angle and is not straightFrom the foot to the head of mattress in one side it goes from 1/inch overhang to inchesIt has become uncomfortable since you feel as though you are sleeping at an angleMy wife has also almost fallen out of the bed because of the overhang, because it still feels like you on the bed even though you are notRooms to Go states it only cover indents to 7/inch, but warranty states it cover defect in material and workmanship
OK, I have read some of the reviews of this business "Room To Go"I have had a recent experience with the 'on-line' ordering folksInitially I ordered the Cindy Crawford Hillside dinette set counter high! -4legged table w/ chairs, and the matching curio cabinetI was leery to order this 'site-unseen', but pulled the trigger anywayI live and ordered this from my home in Minnesota...to be delivered to my newly acquired condo in SarasotaMy family was there for the delivery, I was notIt was all delivered on time...A-OK..so far
The set was there week before I got there for a day visit...When I woke up the 2nd day, I noticed a cracked leg on side of the table
Since I was only going to be there more days I called Customer service..explaining the misfortune of the 'cracked leg'I asked 'Jody' from Internet Customer Service that I'd like her to really ask herself WHY she was a CService repShe followed through in a huge way, getting the parts guy's to UPS overnight a new legIt arrived the day before I flew home, so I was able to replace it in timeJody went out of her way for me and I couldn't have been happier! Jody? You ROCK ladyThx so much for doing above and beyondI thought I'd have to pull teeth, but you really came throughThank youI'm a very satisfied customerNo BS

I want to resolve this! I should not have been c
About years ago, I had ordered furniture from Rooms to Go online and had no problems what-so-ever So when I needed furniture again, I didn't hesitate to order from them In September 2017, I had ordered a dining room set consisting of a server, table, chairs and stools Since it was for my vacation home, I set up delivery for when I would be back in December When the delivery came the server was damaged and they had chairs and stools I don't know about you, but I don't know anyone who would order chairs It makes no sense At that time, the delivery guy told me to let them know that I would be leaving in a few days on Saturday and that they would make every effort to get me the correct furniture before I left After speaking with Brenda, she informed me that they could not accommodate me, so I set up the replacement delivery for May when I was planning on returning I told Brenda about times that they delivered a chair when they should have delivered a stool and I needed swap out the chair for a stool At that time, I believed that she understood me In the mean time, I had ordered two single sleepers and arranged for them to be delivered in May as well
Fast forward to May I received the two sleepers and the server When they were done setting all that up, the delivery guy tells me that he doesn't have the chair (don't forget that I needed a stool), that it wasn't put on the truck and he told his manager His manager was supposed to call me, but I didn't receive a call (upon my return to work, I found his message, even though they were given my cell phone number to contact me, which by the way, the delivery guy used So they definitely had the correct number to contact me at) Again, I was leaving in a few days and I wanted the furniture to be delivered before I left at the end of the week Julian calls me and asks how my delivery went, as you can imagine, I am livid because this is not the first time a mistake been made, but the second! After arguing with him for minutes, I ask for a supervisor and am promptly hung up on I call back and speak to John who also tells me they cannot make the delivery until June 12, which is 10-days after I have left I asked to speak to the store that sold me the furniture I explain the situation to her and she says she will call me back, which she does and she was sympathetic, but really couldn't help me By the way, she was going to call me back on Thursday, the 31st of May...still waiting for that call
While waiting for the call back from the sales person, a supervisor does call me back After arguing with her for minutes, she tells me they cannot deliver my furniture until the 12th of June at the earliest Again, I state this will not work for me as I am leaving on Saturday, the 2nd Since she will not work with me, I finally arranged for the replacement stool to be delivered later on when I return She asked if there was anything else she could do and I proceeded to tell her that no there was nothing she could do and I would tell anyone who would listen not to use their company I really feel as though you should be accommodating me and she said you didn't give me a chance to compensate you She didn't even understand what I was saying In the end I was compensated $off of my delivery charge
Now, here's the best part...I was driving down the road the next day, in my complex and what do you think I saw? A Rooms to Go Truck making a delivery!!! Are you kidding me? You're telling me that you cannot fit a stool onto a truck when you are making a delivery right in my neighborhood AFTER you have made the same mistake twice?!?!
I have to say that I am thoroughly disgusted with this company and I would not consider using them again They have no desire to work with you when they make an error I feel as though I spent a lot of money and was dismissed when there was a problem
