We ordered a recliner and when it was delivered it was defective Upon calling Customer Service an inspector came out to look at the chair and agreed it needed to be replaced The new chair came and it was defective so I showed it to the delivery man and he saw it was defective and made note of it Customer Service called and made a time for the inspector to come out and look at the chair I called her back and explained that the date SHE had chosen was unacceptable because my mother was having surgery on that date and I would be out of town She said I had to take that dateI told her no because I would not be here After going back and forth I told her I no longer wished to hassle with her and for her to arrange to have the chair picked up at their earliest possible convenience She said they would not pick the chair up and I had to keep the chair I told her this was the second defective chair and I no longer wanted it and she said I had to keep it I told her well either
My wife and I purchased a $1,sleeper sofa less than a year agoThe sofa has been used about a dozen times during and we noticed the frame at the head of the bed has bent/sagged significantly Upon calling customer service and having Rooms To Go representatives inspect the bent frame, they concluded the broken/bent frame was due to wear and tear; thereby not honoring the warranty
We are highly upset with Rooms To Go decision not to honor the warranty or try to work with us on their manufacturer's defect
10K spent and a whole day sitting at home with no delivery

Gross misconduct due to communication and customer service
Wednesday May 9th I went in store to purchase a bed frame and mattress from their The Colony locationThe earliest delivery date they had available was May 13thI was told that I would be getting a phone call that Friday to set up a time frame, instead I received a text message stating my delivery time of 8-I then called into customer care to attempt to change the time frame and they told me that's I couldn't because that was the only time the truck would be into my areaI made adjustments to my schedule to be home in the scheduled time, and the delivery drivers didnt show up to almost hours after the time frameI called to the store at am when they opened and they told me they couldnt give me an Eta on the drivers and they had no way of contacting the drivers to see where they wereAt about am, I received a called from "dispatch" stating that they had talked to the driver and they were running a little bit

Claims department doesn't do job timely and we have not been contacted for damages to our home done by delivery men

On Tuesday February 28th between 11am and 3pm eastern standard time we were expecting a delivery from Rooms To Go, after waiting for it for over monthsMy wife took an unpaid day off to make sure that she was available to receive the long a waited bedroom setShe received a call around 2pm letting her know that there was a delay, and the new delivery time would be from 3pm to 5pm, my wife politely agreed and again waitedShe then received a second call around 4pm that the delivery truck was still delayed and will now be between 5pm and 7pmAt 7:20pm after a frustrating day, and my daughter being disappointed because she has not received the furniture I canceled the delivery We received no email no phone call on the status of the delivery truck or even if it would be showing up, prior to me calling at 7:20pm to cancel my order My family and I are extremely disappointed at the way our delivery was handled, and the inconvenience that this caused my familyThis is not a way to do business or keep customers coming back
