Awful company!!!!! Very disrespectful and they lieI spent a total of 8k and all I asked for is for my things to be delivered and set up at my home( which they said they were going to do and I paid extra for it) and it's still yet to happen ive been waiting for months now on my furniture because they keep making me jump through hoopsThey told me My desk was going to be set up and completed the 1st of April but when they came they forgot the parts which finally came in and now I'm tryin to work on my 1k desk that I bought but now hey are saying they can't get someone to set it up till the 21st of April I don't understand why it's so hard to just do your jobAlso When I received my "brand new king bed" that I payed 2k for it came with stains so I appreciate that overall this company just stop because they aren't doing anyone any good but making people go in circlesI give stars if they gave refunds I'd send it back in a heart beat I will never buy anything from rooms to go ever again!!

We purchased a new love seat and chair from Rooms To Go just before Thanksgiving It was delivered a week laterWe selected this particular set because of the firmness and the way that it satWe asked many questions about the durability and quality to make sure that it was not going to break down on us in a month or twoThe sales person assured us that it would hold out and that if not we had a warranty on itWe felt comfortable with the purchase and opened account to pay for the furniture

Failure to pick up old foundations when new ones were delivered and delivering floor sample product instead of new product I paid for
I recently purchased queen size and twin size foundations from rooms to go with the queen and twin size mattresses that I had purchased earlier this year at roomstgo and told the sales person that I wanted the old foundations picked up when the new ones were deliveredThe sales person said they would make a note on the orderThe foundations were scheduled for delivery on August 13th, but not deliveredI did not receive a courtesy call to reschedule the delivery and I had to call roomstogo to reschedule the deliveryWhen the new foundations were delivered they refused to take the old onesIn addition, I paid for new foundations and at least one of the foundations delivered was labeled a floor sample

Zero for two attempts to deliver a sofa without damage
I purchased a sofa, chair and bed from the N Charleston store The delivery arrived precisely on timeAs the installer was setting up the sofa he noted the female piece in the sofa was missing, so one leg could not be installedThey said they would submit a ticket but that I should call customer service as well I spoke with customer service and a replacement delivery was scheduledAgain the delivery came precisely on timeAs the driver was pulling the sofa from the truck he noted the leg was damaged He pulled back the wrapping to show me the damage also revealing the fabric In addition to being delivered in an unusable condition, it was completely the wrong couch! I spent over an hour speaking with customer service and could only be promised a $partial refund of the delivery fee and an opportunity to waste another half a week day on another delivery I can't afford to risk another day hoping they will actually make

The fact is that the furniture started to deteriorate ("peeling") a few months later and it has continued to deteriorate regardless of our attention and special care
We contacted "Rooms To Go" letting them know that we wanted the problem to be fixedThe furniture is not cheapOur preference will be to replace the furniture with furniture made of real leatherAnother option might be, if convenient to them, to change the covers of the one we have with real leather as it was soldIf none of these are possible, we would like 100% of our money

Improperly installed bed cross-member broke
I purchased a mansell manor bed last year, while I lived in the middle of nowhere The bed has standoffs to support the weight of the mattress and user, and one snapped This would not have happened had the bed been assembled correctly (A point I brought up multiple time) - each standoff has a countersunk hole for a bolt, which the installers did not bring or install Had they, the standoffs would have remained at degrees and this problem would not have occurred This of course happened after the warranty expired; but most of their furniture is falling apartRight now my bed is being supported by wood planks and plastic boxes designed to hold bed linens Again, brought up many times - had this been installed PROPERLY, this would have never happened and the warranty would not be needed The installers were obviously in a great hurry
Do Not Buy at Rooms To Go If You Want Respect and Honesty
I'm a consumer and I want a good product at a fair price and I want respect and honesty AFTER the saleI did not get that at Rooms To Go
The salesman was great - nothing against him, after all, it behooves him to do his job well
One caveat: the delivery window was calendar days later; I've bought furniture MANY times in the past and ma used to threeThat should have been the first indication that Rooms To Go's supply chain was weak and possibly fraught with problems
After the sale it all fell apartMy delivery was scheduled for AM - AM and that means the truck is loaded and on the road BEFORE AM
At 9:the call came in: my delivery was not going to occur because the driver called-out
I'm sorry, what? Rooms To Go has a single point of failure that impacts tens of thousands of dollars of merchandise with no baor risk management plan in place? No agency to call upon that provides a pool of per diem workers as many other businesses let alone furniture stores have in-place?
And it took Rooms To Go at least hours to let me know?

Could you imagine if I was calling Rooms To Go for a warranty or other post-sale need?
Now someone from Rooms To Go did reach-out to me as a response to me posting the above on Facebook, but for some reason, even though she had my full name, she made no effort to look up my customer info and email it to themYet she promised to look into the incident
I sent them my phone number and yet another Rooms To Go Customer Support Specialist (ha!), asked me why I was contacting them
