Wont repair faulty seems on our loveseat
When we purchased the living room furniture we noticed the frame was bent and the seems on the loveseat started coming a part A tech came out took pictures and said the loveseat was faulty and replaced it Weeks later the seems came apart at the same place they came out took pictures and said it was from owners wear and tare They told us to order the part to repair it cashed our check for the part and found out the vendor doesn't make that part anymore

My Mother-in-Law (MiL) ordered two lamps online from Rooms To Go RTG about two weeks agoThe lamps were delivered, I believe on Monday, January 14th/the Friday priorA small crystal globe was broken/detached on one of the lamps, we believe this occurred when the lamps were packed at the warehouse to be deliveredThe delivers were very nice and professional about informing us of the issue, filling out an incident report and letting us know that a new lamp will be delivered soon, to replace the lamp that had a broken pieceMy MiL was very disappointed and believed that the lamp would not be replacedMy question is, why was it delivered broken in the first place (are they of good quality/is there an issue with packing practices that should be resolved)? She called RTG Customer Service on this past Monday, January 14th to inquire about the replacement lamp and they informed her that her new lamp will be delivered on Tuesday, January 22ndI was not present during the delivery and my MiL was not informed that she could keep the defaulted lamp "as is" at a discount and bypass on the warranty of the defaulted lampShe stated she believed that it would be only a matter of time before the other crystal globe on the other lamp may also be in disrepair; we believe that although the lamps are nice looking they are of poor qualityI called Customer Service on today, January 18th (my MiL is hard of hearing, especially by phone) to inquire about the delivery of the lamp, my MiL was present when I made the callI believe that she should be compensated, especially since she fulfilled her part of the purchase, however RTG did notHow is it that a product/lamp is delivered to her broken before she can even enjoy it and receive no compensation for it, without additional cost due to her?
