Furniture not delivered on two different days
I purchased a ottoman and chair (#XXXXXXX) on December 27,The scheduled delivery was January 3, between 3-
I received a call from disbatch at stating the delivery would be at my house in around minutes
I received another call from the driver on 1/at stating that they could not find my houseI attempted to tell the driver cross streets but he did not understandDispatch called me back and said "the driver tells me the address is wrong" I explained it was the CORRECT address and gave her specific cross streetsShe found the address and put specific notes on my delivery and told me the driver would be on his wayHe never came
I called customer service at and was able to email "MrR.- dispatch manager" who by voicemail stated he rescheduled my delivery for the next day 1/4/between 3-and to call (XXX)XXX-XXXX for questionsI called this number and left two voicemails asking for a call back

I purchased a set of junk bedsUpon delivery the steps were broken and the storage drawers did not fit properly in the trackA new set of steps were delivered; however the damaged steps were not removed and remain sitting in my bedroom The steps have been sitting in my bedroom for more than a monthI received a bag of screws via US Mail which I assume will be used to repair the storage drawers I have contacted customer service several times to resolve these issues with no success

In the past two months I purchased two bedroom sets, and two bar stools that came defectiveIn one of the deliveries, the men damaged my stairs

The Creekside Captain's Bookcase Bed had a door in the storage footboard that wasn't closing properly and paint missing from one of the bookcase doors
The paint was noted by the delivery person and I never received a call from the Service DepartmentI had to call service to schedule a day for someone to come and fix both issues
One of the Noah Vanilla Barstools came dirty and with a stain

Delivery damage repairs not resolved to customer satisfaction and business will not help resolve issue
On August 24, Rooms to Go delivery team delivered my new dinning room table during installation of table in my dinning room they scratched my floorInitially the delivery, customer service and claims department were very responsiveUpon having to get multiple repair quotes and taking time off workThe claims department chose the cheapest option to repair my floorIn the estimate clause the repair company could not guarantee a match to the rest of my floor with the repair Rooms to Go decided onI immediately contacted the Claims dept and notified that I would not agree with the resolution without further commitment from them if the repair was unsuccessfulI was advised to contact customer service and advise that I did not agree with the resolutionNow no one will contact me and they have told me the claim is closed and no other action will take placeThis is unacceptabl

Sales Agent that returned damaged furniture did not close the old contract with the refundShe created a new contract and made my payment go up

I am so upset right now, I went into the rooms to go in Hoover,AlI paid for several bedroom items one of them was a gentlemans hutch ,it was returned to the store by the delivery men and I called the store and was told that when the truck got back with the hutch I could go by the store " an hour and minutes from where I live" the next day and get my refund,my husband went by there and was told that they would mail us a check within days,not happy about that but we said alright,well it has been weeks now so my husband once again went by the store and was told it was never set up for a refund!?! now we are being told it will take working days for a refund that should have been done as a refund to my bank account the day it was returned to the store, I paid the before I got anything but now I have to wait well over a month for a refund,this is not right nor is it good customer relations as I would have been a person to return and refer ,but that will never happen now!

Incorrect order and exchange issues
I order a dining room set on May 21stI asked for the exact same furniture as the display and when it came my order was backwards and stainedI called customer service right away and spoke to Patricia and she contacted the storeShe assured me that she would have someone exchange the stained white chairs that were delivered and bring back two more brown chairsToday I took off work to wait for my delivery of my corrected order and the delivery guy only brought two more brown chairs and took the white chairs that I hadI still only have chairs and I paid for over a month agoFor such a huge company I can't understand why I have to wait for over a month for some chairsRooms to go should be ashamed of themselvesEvery time I call the blame is shifted and my order is still incorrectI now have to take off work AGAIN to accept a deliveryThe only thing offered for inconvenience and time off work (days) is free delivery totaling $way t

I am surprised at how many negative reviews there are on here! They definitely scared me and made me second guess on purchasing from RoomsToGoHowever, I am glad I did not listen to what everyone else had to sayI purchased thousands of dollars of furniture which got delivered within the window I was promised and they set everything upThere were two room to go employees who came and fully assembled my sets, and there was no damage what so everI chose to just view my furniture in one of the stores and purchase online myselfJust seems like a better idea so you dont have salesmen trying to sell you extra stuffThe only thing I can honestly negatively say about the company is the people who work in the storesThey seem not to care about their customers unless the customer makes a strong impression that they are ready to spend some moneyAfter my initial greeting, I had to constantly go back to my sales person, who was just sitting in the middle of the store chatting with his coworkers, to ask him questions about the furniture, colors, etc
Bottom line, although this is my first real purchase from RoomsToGo, I can say I am quite satisfied with my experience and would definitely order from them again, I just would never buy from any of the stores

I bought a bedroom set that was not delivered and they want me to wait days or so for a new delivery date when their driver did not even call
the room was not delivered I have no bedroom set they want me to wait days longer because their driver could not even do his job right, I told them that I need my furniture the next day from delivery promised or cancel my order so they decided to want to charge %percent restocking fee not a single person I talked to cared about customer service every one was very rude and they all acted like hey we have your money now your at our mercy

In store experience was great! My wife and I ordered furniture from your store in Sandhills near Columbia, SC in February My wife took the day off to receive the furniture We received a damaged dresser with the other items, reported it, and rescheduled deliveryIn the mean time, we returned to the store and bought a chest of drawers and added it to the delivery of the replacement dresser
