I had electrical work completed today by Edwin Elias P [redacted] This young man was able to explain all details of the work and why it needed to be doneHe also advised a service contract for the homeCleaned up the outside and inside of the home after completing the job Stayed late to be certain home owner completely understood what the Inspector would be doing and assured home owner that all work was completed correctly and no issues for the Inspector

Chuck did an outstanding job He was professional, on time, called ahead, friendly, and through I was impressed with his patience in accomplishing the work If in the future I need more plumbing work, I will be sure to call on him Please thank him for a difficult job well done

The entire team was exceptional in every wayThey communicated with us every step of the installationThey were honest with the price and even helped us with financingI would recommend this team to anyone

Thank you for allowing us to respond to our customer’s concernMichael and Son Services were given the approval to begin work of fire restoration on November 20, Due to the fire some of the customer’s personal items and furniture were damaged upon our arrivalThe next day we began the soot chemical cleaning in our customer’s home We informed the customer that a whole home pack out would need to be done in order for us to complete the chemical cleaningWe referred a company to our customer to assist in the pack out of his furniture, the clothing items were packed out by another company that we referred our customer to as wellThe company that packed out the furniture misplaced the keys from the lock boxOur customer made us aware of the misplaced keys on Friday and wanted us to change the locks on the door for the safety of his familyThe customer states that it took hours to have someone come out and change the locks; that is because the referred company services on Monday –Friday On Monday the locks were changed at no expense to the customerAfter work was completed by Michael and Son the customer moved back into the home and had some requests that as a courtesy we offered to perform although it was not part of our initial scope of workOur Restoration Manager Troy went out to the customer’s home and the customer stated that he was happy with the cleaning and everything looked great On December 21st our customer was concerned about the cleaning of his garmentsHe stated that some items were not restored to his satisfaction As a courtesy we contacted the garment restoration company [redacted] and they agreed to pick up these set items and re cleanThe customer made us aware that some items had not been returned and provided us a list of itemsWe sent the list to [redacted] they informed us that everything was returned successfullyThe customer came into our office and requested we compensate him for missing itemsMichael and Son Services do not believe that we should be held liable for missing contents since we had no involvement in removing or returning these set itemsMichael and Son sent this to our Insurance Company and they advised our customer to contact [redacted] Insurance for requested reimbursement of alleged unreturned itemsMichael and Son Services have completed scope of work that we were serviced to do and there is a remaining balance of $2,We have only tried to assist our customer with his concerns but we strongly advise the customer to contact [redacted] ***Please close this matter as satisfied

The plumber phoned about an hour before arriving on time as promised He replaced the spigot on the kitchen sink and installed a spray attachment tooHe offered to repair several other potential problems, as well as several choices of kitchen spigots He was very courteous and completed the repair work in about two hours

The morning of 2/1/I awoke to an unpleasant problem of no heatI called Michael and SonBruce H [redacted] responded within just a few hoursHe was able to pinpoint the problem very quicklyAs he worked and we discussed the situation I was impressed by his obvious experience and knowledgeEven though the furnace was old and no longer being manufactured he was knowledgeable about itSince service parts are no longer available the discussion lead me to the conclusion that replacement was the only solutionBruce presented several choices of equipment configurations which enabled me to easily make a decisionAfter that it was all an easy ride for meBruce took care of all the details and advised about delivery and installationI want to thank Bruce H [redacted] for all his help and guidanceAfter the unpleasantness of the original problem Bruce made pleasurable to associate with real professionals

I called Michael and Sons for a service call and I received excellent customer service from Scott, my repair technicianAs soon as Scott arrived at my home he put a mat down in front of my door and put protective boots over his shoes before enteringI was so impressed with thatI had peace of mind after speaking with Scott for a few minutes and going over some of the issues I was concerned aboutI could tell he was experienced and professionalScott took care of all of my concerns and was able to complete all of the repairs the same dayHe was absolutely perfect, and I will request him for any other service calls in the futureIt is so refreshing to call a business and be treated so professionally! I will refer this company to family, friends, and coworkersThank you Michael and Son!

Our problems with Michaels and Sons begin in late 2014, not long after they installed a new Carrier furnace in our basement Their faulty installation resulted in a major basement water leak, which has costs us tens of thousands of dollars in water and mold damage (the latter not covered by insurance) Their customer service rep (MrVance S [redacted] ) talks a good game, but he has never followed through on promises to assist us with our concerns, despite making multiple promises to do so in writing Moreover, he is very unresponsive It often takes multiple emails or phone calls in order to him to respond When our service contract expires this summer, we will not renew Nor will we ever recommend this company to any of our friends or family members
