I contracted with Michael & Son to replace my main water line This job was supposed to take no more than days to complete it took a week! I have no issues with the Sewer and Water (S&W) Specialist who was available to me any time of the day, addressed all of my questions and handled the problems I encountered along the way My issues were with the team that was sent to do the excavation and plumbing The lead of the excavation team left the work site for approximately hours, leaving the others to sit around after the area was dug out The plumber did not put down a drop cloth to protect my floor and did not wear shoe coversWhen I questioned him he stated that he did not step in the dirt - I had him correct this situation He also cut away too much insulation unnecessarily from the wall Later that evening after the team left I noticed drops of water from one of the pipe connections The S&W Specialist was notified and addressed the problem - having a plumber come and tighten the connection (same plumber that installed the water pipe came) Well the Inspector approved the work stating that the hole in the wall where the new pipe was installed had to be plugged up The initial excavation team returned to address the pipe, hole and put the dirt back in the areas dug out Later I noticed a drop of water at the rear of the same connection and moisture on my wall where the pipe went through the wall from a heavy rain the night beforeOnce again I contacted the S&W Specialist and told him that the same plumber was not allowed back in my houseA Master Plumber was sent to review the problem and took pictures for his SupervisorThis time a two person team was sent - professional in every way! My floors were covered, covers placed over their shoes, and steps they were going to take thoroughly stated This time I had a better comfort level The front of my house had to be re-excavated It was found that the pipe going though the wall inside my house had not been properly sealed at the bottom The Master Plumber had to replace, reconnect and reseal around the pipe that was inserted through my wall (inside and out) The difference and total look of the final work product between the first and second team is like night and day!!! I wish I had the second team in the first place as this entire work process caused unnecessary stress on me and my yard, and was disruptive and inconvenient I'm now hoping that my bush survives after having been dug up twice and awaiting replacement of a broken landscape light
The electrician, Deny, was excellentHe took his time to properly diagnosis the problem and at a low cost
I was very pleased with their customer service from the time I submitted a request for service through to the close of the installation
Andy, Santos and Alberto cleaned my dryer vent this morning They did an excellent job and were courteous and professional I am so impressed with their customer service and highly recommend them for this work

I know next to nothing about plumbing and was really lucky to have Troy Cfrom Michael & Sons come out to fix my toiletTroy was increadibly friendly, polite, and a complete professional! He explained everything that needed to be done and I never felt like he was trying to swindle me everything he explained made perfect senseThe job was done very quickly and Troy stayed extra to make sure there were no additional leaksI learned so much from Troy and will definitely use his services in the future for any plumbing issueI HIGHLY recommend Michael & Sons!
Kemar has always provided top-drawer service when inspecting our HVAC units and making proactive recommendations He is knowledgeable, thorough, methodical, and very customer-oriented

Two years ago my basement flooded and Michael & Son was hired to do the mold abatement, placement of french drains and a sump pump and installation of a backup generator, electrical panel and a carbon monoxide detector They have always been very prompt and responsive to my needs I will certainly recommend them to friends

Our service technician Wael was fantasticHe went out of his way to try and diagnose the problemWhen it was discovered that the leak in our home was not plumbing related, he did not charge us for the service callVery professional and efficient

We were in need of an electrician and did not want to select one from the "yellow pages" Michael & Son came highly recommended to us I called at Monday, 8:a.mand by 1:p.mthe same day, Joe S***, Master Electrician, was here to perform the work He immediately knew what had to be done and completed the work in the time-frame he initially indicated He is very competent, professional and great personality We will continue to use Michael & Son, especially Joe S***!
As a long-time customer with a homecare contract, I called when my HVAC system failed after just being inspected earlier this springWhen they told me I couldn't get an appointment for five days, despite public advertisements for 24/support and customer satisfaction, I had to call another company, which came out in less than four hoursWhen the new tech inspected the system installed by Michael and Sons, he discovered a bad capacitorConnected to that capacitor was a TP-Hard Start unitThis unit was added by Michael and Sons during my spring inspection to "ease" the start of my unitThe new tech said this Hard Start unit does just the opposite, jolting the capacitor to turn on the a/c and probably causing the capacitor to failIt is only supposed to be used on older units that could benefit from a slight kick startMy system is fairly newAs a result of the initial poor customer service, I have canceled my homecare contract and asked for a prorated refundI cannot recommend signing up for any long-term contract and customers should get second opinions on any add-ons suggest my Michael and SonsTogether with the initial inspection addition and the repair for its damage, I'm out about $

Roland was able to diagnose and fix the problem in one visit He was on time, professional, and courteous I highly recommend Michael & Son for all of your home needs
