Electrician tried to sell me a $69 dollar fan/light fixture for over $600. Then claimed he needed to troubleshoot for another $240 when I knew the switch was functional ... with his labor it would be over $1200.00. What a rip off. I paid his $69 service fee for being here for only 2 minutes and said GOODBYE. In addition, their same day service is 4 days out.

I'm writing this review about Mr. Jamal Blue,
an exceptional worker as an Electronic Engineer whom I see as Exceptional. A reason I express my thoughts about Mr. Jamal's work ethics is, because it's showing Mr. Jamal's skills, caring for the work Mr. Jamal Blue initiates.

Mr. Jamal Blue not only work, but shows dedication. He's phenomenal in solving problems, and explaining how he trouble shoots a situation. Mr. Jamal Blue does the task at hand and shows dedication of sharing his expertise to show confidence in solving the problems.

I was scared to initiate ant contact with with electricity, but Mr. Jamal Blue gave me confidence and encourage me it all about listening and doing what's necessary to to complete the job. Mr. Jamal Blue is patient and reaches well, he explains what you need to know about completing the task.

I watched Mr. Jamal Blue working, he seems to be knowledgeable in every aspect of of the trade, if I could change Mr. Jamal Blue's job Title I would consider him to be: A Executive Master Electrical Engineer.

I have experienced other Electricians, but Mr. Jamal is one of a kind. I would love to have him complete my electrical need for future of my home system. Thank-you Mr. Jamal Blue very much in working to solve my electrical issue.

Recently had Michael and Son come out to fix a second floor toilet leak, Technic was on side for about 1 hrs, installed new wax seal and mounting hardware. Charged $440.65 for the job. When we asked for an itemized bill, the response was billing is done by the job. Michael and Son needs to have transparency on their billing invoices to allow customer to see the pricing charged for parts and labor. A wax seal and mounting hardware does not exceed $30 dollars at local big box hardware store. So what Michael and Son is saying is that a pumper charge is approximately $410 per hour including taxes. Will not be using Michael and Son again for actual repair service, will use someone else with a better business model on pricing transparency. The company seem to overprice parts, On different request, an estimate for running a 220 line from basement panel to a hot tub receive a quote of nearly $3,000, all because the parts were three times the costs of the local big box hardware store, ie., hot tub/spa breaker was quoted at $900, when the local big box store offered it for $120, it was the same for the 220 wire, nearly $1000,. they only reasonable item was the labor about $770. No complains against the staff or service techs always courteous and profession. Is their leaderships business model that needs to be address, especially to todays economy.

The technician, Hakeem, provided fast, courteous service for my plumbing issues He was knowledgeable and provided me options that explained what needed to be done, how long it would take and how much it would cost The work was done in less time than estimated

Our electrician was Liam G, he and his partner did a great job updating our electrical serviceThey arrived on time, were diligent in their work, conscious of time, and put in hours of solid workMoreover, their interactions with me, the homeowner, were curtious and pleasantThey called minutes before arriving and were anxious to begin work right awayLiam's partner even helped me move a few items near the panel to gain easier access to the electrical panelWhen I asked what the estimated finish time was, he said they'd become by or pmMuch sooner than I had expectedBy lunchtime, the work was nearly complete and by 1:the work was completedThey took their time, ensuring the breaker box was labeled correctly and walked me through all the work that they'd done, ensuring I understood it all and were ready to field any questions I hadNot only was I impressed with both Liam and his partner's work ethic, I was great fun that we contracted this complicated job with Michael and SonWe were able to get an appointment quickly and received phone calls confirming the date and nature of our appointmentFinally, I was pleasantly surprised that before either man entered our home, they placed a mat on our front porch as not to track in excess dirt and for most of their time inside our home, the chose to wear shoe covers as to not muck up our floorI'd recommend Michael and Son and Liam in an instant

We feel that Michael & Son has completed everything that needs to be done to satisfy this concern And as noted, the previous owner gave us permission to speak to the new owner on what Michael & Son found

Troy Cthe plumber did an excellent jobFrom his first phone contact with us, he was very comforting and positive He assured us that he was the right person to take care of our multiple leak problemsTroy treated my year old mother (the owner of the home needing work) with the utmost care and respectTroy was very proficient with resolving the problemsHe also volunteered to flush her hot water heater, which was installed by Michael & Son four years ago, while he was performing the other repairsTroy clearly explained the problems and gave all possible resolutions and costs, so that the owner could make informed decisions on how she wanted him to proceedTroy has ordered parts, and will return tomorrow to install a new lavatory faucet, pop-up, and trap, to complete the job

Always reliable and thorough Have had maintenance account with them for years

I called Michael & Son for a problem with my toilet, and with my garbage disposalMy appointment time was between 10:00a-2:00p My plumber, Augustin arrived at 11:I showed him my issues, and he quoted me a price on each, without pressuring me to make a decisionI decided to just do the toilet, and leave the garbage disposal for another dayI was quoted a price, again, and he told me that I can even get my own,GD, and then quoted a price to have them come install itHe did fix my toilet though, and he was professional, courteous, and quick about itI think the prices may be a little high, but to have my toilet working again is worth itI will definitely call this company again for any plumbing issues
