Company overcharged, held my property, and harassed me.
I hired All My Sons Moving & Storage to move me from a one bedroom w/office apartment to a single story unit approximately 10 miles away on Saturday, March 12, 2018. The movers wasted time, worked slow, and each took a 15-20 minute bathroom break. After the first two hours, I was being billed in increments of every 15 minutes, so I paid them to hang out in my bathroom. The lead mover stopped moving when his friend called and asked for his Netflix password. He then spent time texting his friend, again while on the clock. When I decided to go with All My Sons, it was solely because they were one of the few moving companies who could move a large piece of exercise equipment from a second floor apartment. Which, earlier that morning, their operations manager called me to tell him he has a crew that would handle my move since the initial guys scheduled were held up in McKinney. He said he didn't think they could handle the exercise machine. I told him that was my priority when looking for a mover, I needed that machine moved. He said he will have his guys try to move it, but he wanted them to call him if they didn't think they could get it. They get to my place, and they think they could get the machine. It took them 4.5 hours to wrap and load furniture, over two hours solely wrapping. There was not much furniture, and furniture was all I was having them move. At the end of the move, they said they could not move the exercise equipment. They call their Operations Manager, Jason, and he tells them not to move it. Initially they said they could move it, but then late in the day changed their minds. The two guys even started arguing in front of me about moving it. All My Sons did not even attempt to send another person out to help, since they had told me it would get moved. We got my new place, and after waiting approximately 20 minutes, they finally presented me with a bill. The bill was over $1,000 (when you include the $250 deposit I paid weeks before). They swiped my credit card and had me sign their iPad. Then the lead mover gets a piece of paper and writes down all 16 digits of my credit card and has me sign. I asked him to only write 4 digits, IF he had to write it down (considering they had already swiped it). He said it is company policy to have it handwritten including signature before they could unlock and unload the truck. He would not start unpacking the truck until I signed that document with my credit card number, expiration date, and zip code. They finally unloaded the truck and scratched my washing machine and dryer. Once they left, I called their office to discuss the exercise machine. I spoke to a very kind lady who told me she would make sure it would get moved early on Sunday (Mother's Day) since I had plans that day. All I had to do was call at 7am Sunday morning. I call Sunday morning and speak to the assistant operations manager, He tells me he cannot move it Sunday, it would be Monday. He proceeds to tell me he is single and would like to take me out on a date. He said he would move the item at no charge if I went out with him for coffee or drinks. I felt like I had to agree. He told me he would keep my personal cell number so he can make sure we go on that date. Then he asked me to call Monday. I called Monday, and he said it would be moved because he wanted that date. Then he asked if I was going to cancel our date. I told him no because I felt uncomfortable and was worried he would not move my machine if I told him I would cancel. I found other movers so I would not have to deal with AMS -Denton anymore. Today, before I hit send on this complaint, I happened to hear from VP of Operations, and he refunded my package materials and apologized. He said he would handle the situation. I personally do not think refunding packaging materials is enough. He also removed my information from their system at my request since I do not feel safe having my info in their database.
I am seeking a full refund. After not following through on a promise (to move my machine), having movers be unprofessional, and dealing with an inappropriate Asst Operations Manager that left me feeling unsafe is worth a full refund.

It is never our intention to mis-inform our customers. All matters relating to our employee behavior has been handled internally with the individuals involved. Our VP of Operations reached out to our customer and discussed the issues. A refund in the amount of $129.00 was issued to our customer's card on 5/21/18. Again, my sincerest apologies.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Our move was Saturday and I called to set up my move over a week in advance. A 250 deposit was taken and I was estimated 520 originally. Then, Friday afternoon I received an estimate of 950 (no one did an estimate in person). I called and talked numerous times to different people and then finally talked to Michael and straightened things out, so I thought. Come Saturday morning, with a move scheduled at 8:30, we get a call that their driver had an emergency and NO ONE CAN COME! We were moving from a apartment building and had a time slot set up and would have to pay fees if we went over and obviously calling last minute we would not be able to find anyone to help. It was an awful experience!
NO SHOW LAST MINUTE! Very unprofessional! I would never set up a move with them again as they are not reliable!
Terrible organization and experience. Dishonest beyond belief. Overcharged by 61% (with all the documentation to prove it). No responses from Customer Service. I'm just surprised the Revdex.com isn't all over this company as they are a shady organization.
I have never had to deal with a company so very bad at what they are supposed to do. I ended up with deep gouges in my best furniture. And as of now, after two months they have not found a container of my things, including expensive art work and other items which mean a great deal to me. To get any action from them I had to hire an attorney. And it looks as though in a few days I will have to sit in their warehouse and watch them actually go through the containers that are stored there.
Hi I really assumed I was getting a great company when I called them. I come to find out I was not getting that. I called this company weeks in advance to book my move, so I can have things setup. I paid my deposit the girl told me that I was confirmed for my morning move I asked was there anything else I needed to do she said "no" and that the movers will call me the day before to let me know we are good to go and will call an hour before to say they are on the way. Well none of that happen. So today I called the company at 8:15 am cause my movers should have been here at 8 am to say hey are they running late or anything, I get *** on the line he say hi we have moved your time to this after noon, I ask why when I asked for a morning move. *** said well you never reconfirmed with us about the move, I said well I gave the deposit and confirmed with the girl over the phone about my move I did not know I needed another confirmation since I paid. He said well yes... I said well did you try to contact me he said yeah we sent an email and called once but the line was busy... I have a cell phone my line cant be busy it should go to voice mail. I said did you leave a message he said no we sent an email.. I said technology is great but old fashion way by just calling is a lot better for me. He said nothing at this point I was upset but did not cuss I said well I want my morning move he said well your on the afternoon now... Oh okay well what time is that, he said not sure I said that makes no sense how do you move me but have no time and I gave you money... *** said well you can take you business else where if you need to.. I said wow I am sorry I work for living and can not sit around calling moving companies when I did that already he okay well what do you want to do. I said I would like to move today and move this morning. He said that is not going to happen. So that was in the morning I did not hear back from *** to follow up or say I am sorry or anything... Well I called back at 1 pm since I did not get a follow up from the company or *** about anything I canceled the appointment. When I called back to cancel he didnt say anything but bye... very rude and no type of customer service skills not a good company
I was very disappointed in the experience overall. very unprofessional, didn't treat my furniture very well, damaged the apt. I was moving out of.
The movers showed up late and did not bring the right tools to break down my bed. I was told they would wrap my furniture and they didn't. I was also told they would not put anything over the balcony and they threw my sofa cushions as well as my duffle bag with clothes in it. They scratched up my washer and dryer as well as the garage door. They put a small dent in the wall while moving the sofa down the stairs. A neighbor next door saw them throwing my mattress around as well as other furniture while loading the truck. When I called to complain, Joe, one of the supervisors, didn't want to try and help me, his response was, they were there and were still working regardless of the fact that I wasn't satisfied. Jim, the other supervisor, called while they were there and I did not feel comfortable discussing it in front of the movers. I am also worried my former apt. complex may charge me for the damages and I believe All My Sons should be responsible.
All My Sons should fix the damages as well as refund the whole amount or at least half.

Hired to move a one BR apartment within the same apartment complex, 2nd floor to 1st floor.
Hired All My Sons to move a one BR apartment from 2nd to 1st floor within the same complex. We were told the service automatically comes with three men, a one BR apartment is quoted at approx. 2 hours. Movers arrived at 2:30PM and didn't finish until 6:00PM. I started removing things from the apartment as it was just taking way too long. Most of the time there was only two men in the apartment while the other was downstairs. All boxes were moved to the front of the apartment stacked and ready to be loaded on the dolly. Once presented with the charge, the breakdown had $129 for an hour travel, their office is less than 15 miles from our complex. The floors in our new apartment are scratched from the washer / dryer. Multiple pieces of our furniture is damaged. I have moved two-three bedroom apartments in the past that took less time and involved travel. (All reputable moving companies!) Overall I'm disappointed with the lack of care the operations manager Tristan displayed when my fiance contacted him and explained the situation once the movers left. I was alone at the apartment and did not feel comfortable speaking with the manager while they were still on-site. While the movers were professional and friendly, they definitely were in no hurry to get the job complete and ran on our dime. If I could have seen the damage prior to paying I most definitely would not have paid for this, but I was told we had to pay BEFORE the movers unloaded our furniture, low and behold to find it damaged. All around very horrible customer service from so-called management. I will never recommend or use this company again. Not only out nearly a grand for a small move, we now have to hassle with customer service for our newly purchased now damaged furniture! Movers also left their blanket used to wrap the TV.
We're not looking for a full refund, but we definitely expect compensation for our damaged furniture and feel the $129 for travel time and one hour of labor $129 should be reimbursed to us.

This Moving company is the WORST!!!!
I was moving from a 1 bedroom apartment in plano, to a house in dallas, I was charged $700 & I tipped 150! (Only because I was not aware of the broken table)
A table was not delivered, and was deliberately left in the moving truck by the movers, because it was broken. The manager contacted me about the missing table, and told me he would deliver it. He delivers it, drops it off with one of my roommates and does not mention that it was broken. I get home, and the side table was completely broken. Called to get money for the table, was told I need to file a claim, and fill out paper work.. Got the paper work - I HAVE TO HAVE IT SIGNED BY A NOTARY???!! So on top of them wasting my time, I have to go to a ups, or bank to have the papers signed??!!! I am having to jump through so many hoops, just for a $186 table, that they admit to breaking?>?!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Would DEF NOT hire again!!
This is the worst moving company I have ever experienced. The stole things from me during the FIRST move. They walked out before the job was completed. They drank my beer. My apartment manager had to call them and get another set of movers to complete the job. They threw my kitchen utensils and pans in a box, Also my clothes they just tossed into my closet. When it came to my dispute they came up with a ridiculous amount of $25.00 settlement. They stole my better set of silverware from a service of 8 to 4.
I have never given a 1 star review but my experience with All My Sons was absolutely terrible. I had an appointment at 8am to move me into my first house. 8am rolls around and a single word from them. They called at 8:45 to let me know that they were not coming because the driver called out and nobody could move me today. I understand things come up in people's personal lives, but why is there no on-call person for these emergencies? A moving date is something that you can't just change at the very last minute, especially when you are pressed for time to get out of an apartment. On top of that, I took time off of work to do this. The person on the phone never said sorry one time, acting like my business was an inconvenience. Even more insulting, they had the audacity to call me back asking for a deposit to move me the very next day. When I tried to return their phone calls nobody ever answered and they have their phones set up so that you cannot leave a voicemail. Nobody ever returned my multiple phone calls or emails. I am extremely frustrated with this company and will never try to do business with them again. The way they have treated my situation is unprofessional and absolutely unacceptable. Thankfully, Hornet Moving was kind enough to squeeze me into their very busy schedule move me at last minute to help me out of the bind that All My Sons put me in.
Not good company my wife let them know I was flying in to move our things so a time
line was in place for my flight I had to pay more then 300 dollars to get home don t
care about a thing but the money I was paying them late not on time full of it

This is company rips off the elderly. I was quoted one price and paid the $100 deposit for my grandmother. They explained the deposit and the $49/hr fee. My grandmother is on a fixed income, so I agree to pay this portion over the phone for her. They told me on Saturday, April 14 the manager would be calling her back to go over the terms. They never called back, instead they sent her an email yesterday April 16 confirming the move. My grandmother is 85 years old. She has an email account to play computer games. She doesn't know how to access her email.
They did not called her back like they agreed to do. Instead they show up today April 17 ready to move. They did not discuss any fees or request her signature prior to loaded up her things. My grandmother moved about 8 house down on the street on the opposite side. Truck is loaded two hours later and takes her things down to the new address. Before taking her things off the truck they advise her of the deposit and hours priced. She signs the agreement based on the previous term. Then they hand her another contract totalling $1100 gas, insurance and etc. She's on a fixed income and can't afford to pay that. They then tell her they are not going to unlock her things until she comes up with $1100. I will be calling FOX 4 News as soon as I leave work. The manager Brad was too busy to take my call. I called him 3 times and her DID NOT call me back. This place takes advantage of the elderly and I will make sure the DFW AREA is aware of it
DAMAGED MY FURNITURE OVER 5 HOURS LATE ARRIVAL UNPROFESSIONAL OVER PRICED AND HELD OUR FURNITURE HOSTAGE
WE WERE QUOTED AN ARRIVAL TIME 11-1PM ON A SATURDAY AT 4PM THEY CALLED ASKING TO RESCHEDULE, WE EXPLAINED WE HAD TO BE OUT THAT DAY THEY SHOWED UP 2 HOURS LATER, THEY ORIGINALLY SAID THEY HAD BOXES AND TAPE, THEY SHOWED UP WITH NOTHING I HAD TO RUN OUT TO BUY MORE LAST MINUTE, WE EXPLAINED OUR STORAGE UNIT CLOSED AT 9PM AND NEEDED TO BE THERE BY THEN BUT THEY DID NOT FINISH UNTIL WAY AFTER 9PM, THEY EVEN ASKED ME TO GO GET THEM STARBUCKS, THEY DID NOT WRAP GLASS ITEMS A BOOKSHELF THAT HAS GLASS SHELVING AND THEN PUT IT IN A STORAGE UNIT AT THE VERY TOP OF OTHER ITEMS, THEN PROCEEDED TO TELL US THAT THEY WOULD REDUCE THE PRICE DUE TO BEING SO LATE AND MISSING OUR STORAGE UNIT TIME AND HAVING TO HOLD OUR ITEMS UNTIL MONDAY, WHEN MONDAY CAME THEY REFUSED TO UNLOAD THE TRUCK UNTIL WE PAID IN FULL, ONCE IT WAS PAID THEY UNLOADED, AFTER HOURS OF ARGUING THEY DID REDUCE THE PRICE, BUT WE WERE UNABLE TO CHECK OUR ITEMS AS THEY WERE LOADING THE STORAGE UNIT, WHEN UNLOADING THE UNIT MY BEDROOM SET WAS COMPLETELY DAMAGED, THE LEGS OF MY BED WERE MISSING AND THE LEG OF MY DRESSER WAS BROKEN AND MY COFFEE TABLE WAS SCRATCHED UP
I WANT MY FURNITURE EITHER REPLACED OR FIXED OR MONEY FOR THE DAMAGES RENDERED I HAVE PICTURES OF THE FURNITURE BEFORE AND AFTER
We have not provided services for a customer with this name. Please ask the customer to provide proof of services rendered by our company. Possibly this was performed by another moving company.

It's been 7 business days and they keep giving me the runaround about giving me my $100 deposit back. They keep saying they sent it. The first time, a guy told me that they didn't put in the cancellation or the deposit. I feel like I got scammed.
Movers neglected to protect a piece of furniture, causing it to crack during move. Movers dropped my headboard on the ground, which dented and scratched the wood. Movers misplaced three legs to my sofa.

Good morning, I have reviewed the moving documents, I see the customer did not purchase full replacement protection or purchase additional insurance coverage from a third party. The signature on the moving documents reflect the customer selected standard valuation at no charge with coverage of $0.60 per pound per article. Based on the valuation selected by the customers signature our liability for coverage on the damaged items is $336.00 which is calculated at 560 LBS X .60 = $336.00. To show customer care we increased the offer to $450.00 in good faith and to reach a reasonable settlement. We will offer an additional $50.00 for a settlement of $500.00. Thank you.

I hired this moving company to load a moving truck from an apartment. The movers were extremely unprofessional and stole an expensive box of purses.
The movers were constantly going back and forth to their truck, which was unnecessary since they were loading our rental truck. They were opening boxes and re-tapping them with a different colored moving tape then used to pack the house. When unpacking, a box of purses was completely stolen. After I filed a formal compliant, that was notarized with the moving company they basically told me to get lost. The movers were on drugs, had a lack of motivation and were thieves. This company should never be trusted by anyone.
Payment for the stolen purses, reciepts were sent to the company along with a police report.
All My Sons did not off-load *** on Feb. 28th.....Lake Dallas location did the confirmation and kept communication with *** the entire time on the travels from Chicago....unfortunately, *** got a message from a moving company that she misunderstand, thinking the moving company was us but rather it was a moving company that she already cancelled. They told her that they would be on site at 6:00 pm to unload her truck. So, on the day of the move, I called *** one last time to give her an ETA of our arrival, but she said that "why are giving me an ETA when you are already here!".....I said that is not AMS unloading you, so I would immediately find out who is unloading you at this very moment.....she contacted me and mentioned to me that it was the moving company that she cancelled that showed up and is presently unloading her....she sincerely apologized and told us to keep the deposit for the inconvenience. Please remove this complaint.
Go to someone else to move. All My Sons didn't listen to what I wanted moved, I told them and they asked more than 5 times and yet they still got it wrong. When I requested they move the item back, and for no charge, they said they'd look for an open truck to handle it. They are still looking...Run, don't walk away from these guys.
All my Sons rendered a quote to move my furniture. They were not needed for disassembly, or reassembly. They were not asked to move boxes. The furniture I asked them to move and all boxes were previously move fro OH to PHX for the same money as their quote to move only furniture less than two miles. They quoted a fuel fee of $156 and $209 for employees to ride in the truck. Be careful of sweet talking businesses that try to cheat you. *** (***)
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. Nothing but trouble. They did nothing the way I was told it would happen. They said they would call to let me know when to meet them at my storage unit 3 days prior to the move. I had to call them the day before the move. Then not 30 minutes later they called to see if the moving time could be changed because they had a bigger job to do. The movers were supposed to call me 30 minutes before arriving, so I could meet them at the storage unit. I got a call saying they were 10 minutes away. They did not completely empty out the storage unit and left trash and broken pieces behind for me to deal with. Got to the house and they damaged the wall in the master bedroom. Said the office would take care of it. Still waiting for that to happen. When it came time to pay they couldn't give me an invoice because he didn't know how to use the tablet. Talked to someone over the phone to take my card. Then told me it was in excess of $800 plus I had given them a $100 deposit. I said I need an invoice that's too high. It was twice the quote. Still waiting on the invoice. Terrible service use anyone but this company.
