If I could give zero stars I would. I was looking to get quotes for a local move and submitted information for a quote from All My Son's. The quoted price was twice that of the competition so I did not pursue additional information from the company. Since my first inquiry last week, I have received over 20 calls, voicemails, and texts soliciting me to book their services. I received SIX calls in one day. I informed them that I was not interested in their service and to please quit calling me. They started calling from a different phone number, so I blocked both phone numbers. Today I have received multiple calls from a restricted number they are using and they are now texting me to book from a third phone number. This is harassment and I wish I never requested the quote in the first place. If this is how they treat prospective customers I can only imagine what they do to actual clients.
SCAMMERS AND CROOKS - BE WARNED!
What can I say that hasen't been said already?
These people belong in prison. Willingly commiting extortion without any remorse.
My experience is way to similar to the other reviewers. I was quoted $849.30 to move a 1.5 bedroom across the street, and down a couple of buildings. No more then 300 - 400 yards total. Once we were at the new location, before they began offloading the truck, they asked me to sign the bill agreeing to $1800. I've moved across country for that price. They tell you if you don't agree to pay they will leave with your belongings and you'll have to pay even more to get them back.
*They charge you a 14%, what they call a fuel surcharge, for every hour on the job regardless if you're moving a block away or 50 miles.
Boy do they have this scam figured out. Ofcourse you have no recourse as you hire them by the hour. I thought I learned the "don't ever hire anyone by the hour" lesson a long time ago.
This company needs to be out business. PLEASE do not hire them and pass this along to everyone you know.
I used All My Sons Moving And Storage and will NEVER use them again! They delivered my furniture, two large nightstands, upside down and left the cellophane wrapped around the furniture and all mattresses. They charge you for 1 hour of "drive time" which comes out to be $125. A minimum charge for the move will be $250 (minimum of 2 hours), plus a 12% fuel charge, plus $125 "drive time" regardless of how far they drive. This all added up to $416, which I was told is a MINIMUM moving charge. For this price, the company should've removed all cellophane from the furniture and leave the furniture in an upright position. I talked to a manager, and all he said was, "This should not have happened and I'll discuss it with the drivers." No resolution was offered to come out and rectify the situation.
Morin, and crew were a great! Polite, professional & fast!
It has taken me over a year to write this review because I am still somewhat angry with how my move was handled. I moved in August of 2017. I contacted the company approximately a week prior to moving due to this being a quick move. When I spoke with the Hollie ***, I explained that most of the items were in boxes however I had three full bedrooms, living room furniture and kitchen furniture, a regular entire house. I knew this would cost probably between $700 and $1000. I was ok with this due to the amount of items I needed moved and the close time frame that I was making the appointment. The move was set for Saturday, August 5th at 0800 hours. I put down a deposit for 3 movers and 1, 26' truck. I had specifically asked Hollie if I would need to bag up my mattresses or put plastic around my drawers to my dressers. She told me that these things would be included in my move. I also knew this would take a few hours to do but I had three guys plus my spouse and I so it should be loaded and ready to move by early afternoon. On the day of the move I received a call from one of the three guys asking for directions to my residence and that they were almost at my residence. A few minutes later they called again and said they were somewhere in the east valley and could not find my address, I lived in Glendale and let them know they were in the wrong location. This is when I was told that they had gone to the wrong location to move and mixed up my move with another, however they could be at my place around noon if this was ok. I explained that I just wanted my house moved before the end of the day. The caller told me this could be done and so I agreed to wait for them. This should have been a red flag but I was moving so I was not as concerned as I should have been. When the three guys arrived around noon is when things got really interesting. One by one the three of them walked through my house shaking their heads saying that they were told this was a one bedroom deal and not an entire house, much more than they had planned. Well, this really was not my problem, which I told them and instead of walking around I wanted them to start moving so we could get this done today as promised. This is when I was told that items needed to be wrapped and my mattresses should have been bagged and of course this would be an extra cost. The main mover, who I suspected was the supervisor then started calling back to the office. The calls were to someone who I believed was in charge there and the two of them were going back and forth about the amount of things that needed to be moved. One thing I brought to their attention was that why would I hire a 26' truck and three men if I had one room, this made no sense. I then again asked them to please get moving so we could get my residence moved. I then began getting calls from whoever was at the main location. This I realized was what I would consider and upsell scam. The guy on the phone started telling me that this was a bigger move, I told him this was fine and we were busy and I wanted to get going. I want to note that there were three guys however one of the three was maybe 5'6 and 90lbs. I am not sure why he was hired as muscle for moving. Well they started loading up the truck. There were a lot of breaks and at times one or the other would disappear. The cost of the move included an hourly rate to again the longer it took the more it would cost. I kept them moving by being constantly on one or the other of the guys at all times but this was dragging on much longer than it should have and they had been late. Late by hours. After about 5 hours and much coaxing I finally had enough. The truck was mostly full with a majority of my items inside and I let them know that I was done. I still had a bit of stuff in the house but I was frustrated with the antics, phone calls, coaxing, breaks and I just wanted the stuff delivered to the new residence. This is when the second set of calls started. These are the calls where the guy started telling me that these guys had met their hours and needed to get back and now that the truck was loaded they would hold my property overnight and start back in the morning. Oh no, they were not holding my property hostage, I did not sign up for that and it was not my fault that they did a job early in the morning and did not come to my address. We have a lot of gps applications there is no way they really got lost. I explained to the guy over the phone that this was unacceptable and demanded that they get my property to my new residence, which was 20 minutes away. This also went back and forth for a while with him making what I perceived as threats. After going back and forth it was decided that my property would be taken to the new location. Once at the new house they began unloading. My spouse and I not only helped load the truck but also helped unloading the truck. The 20 minute drive took them almost an hour. They said they had to make a stop for gas. I am not sure why I had to pay for this time due to my move being the only one they should have done on this day anyway. There were times when the guys would have one box in their hands as they were unloading which was ridiculous. We were now dragging on the unloading. One of the movers made the decision to move one of my dressers up the stairs by himself. I questioned this and he told me he was fine. As he was moving this up the stairs I heard a pop this is when one of the panels to my dresser was broken. I did not realize it at the time and the guy never said anything to me, he actually was taking a while to come down and when I walked up to check on him he had a piece of the panel and said it was just a small thing and there was nothing wrong. My large mirror to my dresser was also broken when they tried to tighten a tie in the back of the truck. Again after a few hours of suffering through the slow moving I told them to just get the rest of the stuff into the garage and we would be done. As they were finishing I made a few calls to get a uhaul for the next day and called family members that would help me finish the move that they did not get done. My final cost came out to approximately $1300. Way more than I thought. Then the three guys hung around and make a comment about a tip. Ha! There would be no tip. And to make matters worse one of the three guys, the one that broke my dresser (that I had yet to find) offered to come over the next day to help me and my family finish the move. (He offered this on the sly so as not to let the other two guys hear him.) Thank you but no thank you. I did not find the broken dresser until the next day and had to call to have my furniture fixed and my mirror replaced. The furniture repair guy was extremely nice. He fixed it as if it had not been broken. Unfortunately my mirror had to be sent out. I had been told that I could get it fixed and send them the receipt. No way would I trust that at all. I had the mirror sent out. It took about three weeks and many many calls to get the mirror returned. I would unfortunately never recommend this company to anyone. I was extremely unhappy and disappointed with how I was treated. The price is one thing but the time and the unprofessional behavior of the office staff and the movers was ridiculous. Continue to look for a new company before hiring this one.
The worst experience ever. They sound good and very helpful when trying to get you set up for an appointment, but once they hand you that bill it's not what you were told. They are very very VERY misleading during the consultation. The movers claim to be "professional" however we had movers falling off the ramp, I had several items damaged, and the customer service was horrible. I called to speak to a manager in regards to my damaged furniture and he was very rude. All he told me was it wasn't his fault and that I had to file a claim. Most moving companies will deal with that stuff on their own since it's their fault. This is just another inconvenience. Their estimates are WAY off. At the end of it all expect your estimate to go up by $300+, and when you call them and ask why your paying way more then what you were told all they can say is check your email it has all the costs associated. Why can't you go over that during the initial consultation? If the move went smooth, and I had movers who took care of my stuff I probably wouldn't complain, but I'm paying several hundred for a company that doesn't value their customers.
This is the most horrible moving company that anyone could use. They destroyed some of our furniture. Placed moving tape directly to the wood of our furniture. Broke the glass on two glass tables. Actually bent handles on furniture that would seem impossible to bend. Scratched the leather off of my leather sectional because they slid it across the cement floor. Used no protection at all! Place furniture on top of my sleep number mattress and damaged it. Damaged a wall while removing furniture. And the worst part is that they didn't care. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COMPANY!
I did NOT give them a 5 star review. I did NOT do a review at all! Apparently confusing me with someone else. Would be glad to discuss this with the company at anytime.
We had arranged for All My Sons to move us from us from Columbus to Dayton on Saturday, November 10th. We had paid our deposit. My husband spoke with someone the week before the move to finalize details and discuss what time the movers would arrive. They were to be there between 8 and 9:30 Saturday morning. By 10 no one had shown up and we hadn’t heard from anyone. My husband called and was told that several of their employees had called off sick or not shown up altogether. The bottom line was that we could reschedule for later in the week but that no one would be available to move us that day. It seemed that no one planned to call us and tell us this. Moving is something you plan for a lot of time in advance, it’s not something you can just “reschedule for another day.” In the end we were scrambling to get a truck and move ourselves so that we could be out of our apartment by the time we were supposed to be. Made for a very stressful and frustrating day. All My Sons failed us horribly and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
Morin and Moses just moved our four bedroom home and did a great job! It?s my first time using professional movers and I will never move myself again after this experience. They were quick, efficient, and took good care in moving my large amount of items. We also shared some laughs, which added to the fun! I would gladly use them again. Highly recommended!
I have used All My Sons Moving in Dallas, TX on four moving jobs in the past several years. On March 30 2018, All My Sons Moving handled a move from a high-rise condo in Dallas to a storage facility in Dallas. The movers showed up three hours late to the job. When the movers were an hour late, I called to check on their status, the movers said they were on the way and would be there in 30 minutes, they arrived 2 hours later after telling me they would be there in 30 minutes. The movers from All My Sons Moving were slow and dishonest.Even worse, an employee from All My Sons Moving stole a $3,500 high definition plasma TV, the storage facility has video showing footage showing the employee from All My Sons Moving taking the TV from the moving truck to a car. The TV was never placed in my storage facility. For the past six months, I've contacted Deborah A and Doug H at All My Sons Moving numerous times with no resolution. Since April 2018, they have stalled, made numerous excuses and yet to reimburse me for the TV that was stolen by All My Sons Moving employee.
Product_Or_Service: Moving services
Other (requires explanation) I would like to be reimbursed full replacement cost of the high definition plasma TV that was stolen by the employee from All My Sons Moving. I would also like a refund of the moving charges because I have spent six months trying to resolve this issue and have only received excuse after excuse.
Thank you for the feedback. All My Sons Moving & Storage performed moving services for our customer on 3/30/18. This move consisted of a 4 man team to move our customer's goods from a residence to a public storage facility. On 4/3/18, our Claims office was notified and a claim packet was emailed to our customer. Our Claims office received our customer's completed claim packet on 5/4/18 and was assigned to a Claim Specialist. The claim consisted of a missing 50" TV. Our customer contends that a moving team member was involved in the missing TV and had video proof of the incident. Our Claim Specialist reviewed the submitted video but could not definitively confirm our customer's claim. Without definite proof of the incident, our customer's claim was denied based on lack of evidence.
Dear Revdex.com,
Unfortunately, the information provided in the response from All My Sons Moving is neither factual or accurate. They have misrepresented the facts and have completely refused to view the video that shows the employee from All My Sons Moving stealing the TV. I have requested numerous times to meet anyone from All My Sons Moving at the self-storage facility to view the video. Please keep this case open and respond to my inquiry.
Thank you.

This is my second time using AMS. The first time wasn't great but wasn't terrible, which I consider a win when it comes to moving companies. I decided to be loyal. That was my fault. I hired 3 movers at a good rate and only 2 showed up. When I contacted the office they were not willing to work with me and in fact tried to hose me on a new rate. Then offered to move me on another day...which everyone knows when you schedule a move you do not really have another day to move. I tried to haggle as best as I could but ultimately AMS had me over a barrel. I could've fired them but I would have lost my deposit because they require a 48 hour cancellation notice. Either way you slice and dice it do not ever hire any AMS!!! Moving companies are terrible but this one takes the cake!!! I will hire Hawk Movers out of Grapevine from here on out. They are a local company, owner run and operated. You will notice the difference when you call them.
On behalf of All My Sons, I would like to apologize for the issues you experienced regarding your move. We always strive for excellence knowing how stressful a move can be, and we did not meet your expectations. For that I am truly sorry.
> I understand that we originally scheduled a 3 man team to perform moving services for you. Unfortunately, we only had a 3 man team available. Our normal 2 man rate is $104.00 per hour but was discounted down to $94.00 per hour to help with the cost. On occasion, we run into these situations and we do our best to accommodate our customers. Our Operations team worked with you as best as possible under the circumstances and our moving team completed your move.
> Again, our most sincerest apologies for not meeting your expectations.
The only reason the rate was lowered to $94.00 is because I would not accept $104.00. There was no sympathy, no accommodations made and nothing to make it right. The tone was take it or leave it. I'm sorry for the harsh language but AMS screwed me and still refuses to acknowledge or try to make it right. To make things right means what....it is all about money. It is simple take the hourly rate of $124 that I was quoted, divide by 3 then multiple by 2. It took 2 people longer at a higher hourly rate per person than what it would've taken for 3 people. The fact that AMS can not see that is proof they should not be hired by anyone. They want a positive review then make it right...as described above!!!!!!
ALL MY SONS MOVING AND STORAGE *** On November 2, 2018 used this company to move items. Quote $***/hr. No mention was ever made of fuel surcharges, or paying for wrapping materials at the time the appointment was booked. Once workers arrived in my driveway the driver did mention fuel surcharge. At end of move I was charged $*** for wrapping materials. This company uses deceptive pricing methods and slow disclosure. I would not recommend them due to their management team.
Rate them a 1.
I was completely satisfied with All My Sons Moving and Storage. The guys were friendly and fun and worked without breaks all day. I'm surprised to see the negative reviews posted here as this is the best experience we have ever had with movers. All furniture was wrapped well and delivered without damage. We will definitely use them again if the need arises.
They were all muscles and moving. These men did a awesome job. Felt like they actually gave a care.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Grossly mismanaged. Incompetent office staff. Movers showed up unprepared so I called their management resulting in them telling me to got to *** to spend my own money to buy supplies.
I recently paid All My Sons for my daughter to move to her new home from an apartment. I prepared for this move weeks ahead of time & had the movers scheduled for the date of the move. I originally asked for two movers because the apartment was a one bedroom but on second thought I decided we might need three movers instead due to the volume of stuff my daughter had accumulated & the very large dining table she had which was marble & I didn?t want to take the chance that two men would be able to handle such a large table because it was marble. I was given a quote which I agreed to; however, once the movers arrived only two of them was actually working- I noticed one of the men was frequently outside not doing anything & sitting in the back of the truck.
I called the corporate office to advise them of this & that I didn?t think it was right to pay for three movers when only two were working. This would make the move longer than necessary. The office person I spoke with said he would check to see what was going on & call me back & never did. I ended up calling him back & at that point he was agitated that I wanted compensation for the lack of work from the third mover. Not only did he try to not give me any compensation but he was not considerate of what had occurred. He kept asking me what did I want him to do. I would expect to receive proper customer service; especially after paying $1000.00 for not so great service.
I will never use them again or refer anyone to them
This is a great company! My move went smooth and fast. The men were efficient and there was no damages. I would definitely recommend this company to others. The management is amazing and they helped with any questions that I had.
So nice that a satisfied customer would take the time to post a positive comment. Wish all our happy customers would also.
They opened a box and took a ring that ment so much to me but has no value. When I called their office they told me the movers don't open the truck til I the owner arrives which is so incorrect cause it was opened when I arrived. They left all their wrappings on my glass items I will through out. I even tipped $100 on a $300 local move only to be completely ripped off. Worst company ever, such thieves. I hope they end up in jail which they will one day.
The company quoted a 2100.00 price and charged me 3200.00. 14 of 32 boxes were marked "office closet". Found my coffee pot in one of those boxes. And there was a 383.00 charge for gas to go 16 miles from Pensacola to Milton. Would never recommend these people to anyone. ***

Movers dropped washing machine breaking the door and floor tile.
Movers were told to go to the back of the house to avoid steps and to wait for second mover because washing machine was too heavy for one person. The mover ignored instructions and decided to go through the front alone. Even after repeated demands not to attempt the move alone, mover attempted to move washing machine down the steps. This resulted in breaking the washing machine door and floor title. The mover casually said they are not responsible for damage to the home.
I filed a claim with the company. They told me it would take at least 30 days and not to repair any broken items because they would not be covered. They need to expedite the claim because I have 3 children that need their clothes washed daily.
Thank you for sharing this referral. A review of the booking indicates that the customer contacted the claims department on 8/29/18 with a request for claims packet to address damaged items. The claim packet was sent on 8/29/18. The completed claims packet was received back on 8/30/18. On 9/14/18, the claims specialist sent an offer to the customer for consideration. Thank you for allowing us an opportunity to review the complaint and offer a status on the process. ***, Claims Manager
