When first signing up, we were required to pay $100 deposit, that was done but no one came out to our home for an estimate. Come to find out the person who took our info put us down for a partial move instead of a full move and we found this out once the men showed up. Therefore the truck was not big enough to hold all of our belongings, which we were not told until everything was put in. We were given a call the day before for estimated time of arrival, which I paid for in advance, between 8am-9am. The next morning we received a call from a manager named Matt @ 8am saying his guys were out until midnight the night before and were resting because of exhaustion. Said he would call back in about 2 hours with a better time on when they will show up. I heard nothing. Called back myself at 11:15 am and asked for progress report. Customer service rep said they would reach out to dispatch and return my call. Again, I heard nothing back. I did however finally receive a call from the driver around 2pm. He stated he was finishing his last job, taking a lunch break and would be at my address to load up around 3:00. So I was lied to as far as what was really going on with our movers. They were not resting like the manager had stated, they were at another job. Therefore they decided to just not do our job as we agreed upon. I was with was with AT&T at the time of the 2pm call. The driver clearly and politely stated I could finish with them and then call back and he would meet me. 5 minutes later I received a call from the manager Matt again that if I didn't meet his guys now than they would have to reschedule. So not only were these people 8/9 hours late with zero correspondence, but then they forced me to meet them at their convenience instead of my own after the fact. I am also currently 20 weeks pregnant - and our family specifically asked and paid for a moving move, not an afternoon one. After they guys showed up we did a walk through of everything needing to stay and leave. All boxes were labeled with black sharpy as well. The house is my dads and some stuff was his that we were leaving behind. Instead of them following by what we asked the movers ended up packing whatever they wanted. We got several things back at our new address during drop off they were not supposed to go. They also did not complete our move. Reason for this was because the driver stated he had worked his max amount of moving hours for the day. And he said that couldn't exceed 14. Said they would come out in a few days and pick the rest back up and bring to us. That was never done. One of the gentlemen moving us was discussing a death of a child in his family - that someone had brutally murdered him- right in front of my 9 year old daughter. Extremely inappropriate. I was not able to sit down until around 12:30am and bring pregnant that was very difficult and hard on my body. My daughter also had to sleep on our tile kitchen floor because she was so exhausted. Her back her pretty badly the next morning. Again, had these movers shown up when they were supposed to, we wouldn't have been dealing with all this until 2am. They would also not unload our belongings unless we paid them an insane high amount. Although we were VERY dissatisfied. The driver told us to dispute the charge the next day with the moving company itself and our back. (those are the actions we have taken) We have also contacted a lawyer as well. We were also told by the manager Matt and the driver that we could keep our belongings in our drawers during the move since the guys tape and wrap everything up really well. After unpacking for 2 days, we noticed our new Iphone 7 phone for our stepson was missing. We had it in our drawer in master bedroom with all our other back up phones. At the time he was grounded from it and thats why we had it. We have search high and low since our move and it is non-existent. We have filed a claim with the company, we have filed a report with McKinney Police Department and we have called AT&T and blacklisted/suspended the phone line. Several of the men on the truck discussed the older man that was with them as being a drug addict. This made our family super uncomfortable, considering we had two children with us and I am pregnant.
Scam artist. Will charge you for hidden fees. Needed to be reported, I'm sure this isn't their first bad review. Lied, stole, take advantage of disabled senior citizens, and cruel. Came over and didn't work, left without finishing. They then said they had two other people coming who never showed. Then they charged my debit card twice. Then they quit answering my phone calls. Horrible experience, how could someone have the heart to do this to me. Please stop this inhumanity, I am 65 years old and my mother is 91 with cancer and you stole from us out of all people.
The company overcharged me and refused to give my money back.
On 11/08/17 All My Sons, 5454 Summer Ave, Memphis, TN XXXXX gave a quote based on $129 per labor hr (minimum 2) and $129 travel time, plus 12% fuel & taxes, minus the $100 deposit. I paid deposit of $100 11/08/17 for service on 11/11/17 at 1pm. The house I was moving to was less than half a mile & not more than five minutes away, so I was positive the move wouldnt take more than 2 hours. I was told I would receive a call 1hr prior to move time, but I did not. Called All My Sons 11/11/17 at 12:52, spoke with Ben who informed me that my assigned movers were finishing a job & would be on their way to my house in 15 minutes. Ben called back at 2:29pm stating the moving truck was involved in a wreck on their way to me, it was only a fender bender & if that truck couldnt do the move, he had a plan B, not to worry, because All My Sons will do the move on that day & he would call me back in 20 minutes. I called the company at 3:26pm for update left message. Ben called back from his cell at 3:32pm, informing that the truck was inoperable and couldnt do the move as promised. I asked about the plan B after informing him the reason for my move was I am a victim of domestic violence and feared for the life of mine and my kids, my security alarm was unregistered that morning, and we could not sleep there. He said, he said there was no Plan B, no truck that could do it that Saturday & the only option was Sunday, but he advised that he would discount the move $100 due to the inconvenience. I agreed to Sunday at 9am. I received a call from the movers at 9:15, 3 movers arrived at house at 9:30am. We completed the walk through and he said this should take no more than an hour. During the move the driver, Ray, asked once we were loaded could we stop at a store for water. I advised I had water in the frig, help yourself. I was a day behind & had to get my kids, so we needed to keep loading. Yes, I helped them. Ray also, asked for a tip, while drinking my water and took a break at my expense when he hadnt worked 30 minutes. Loading the truck took less than an hour, the crew decided to take a break (smoking cigarettes, drinking my water, and conversing). I waited. Once at new apartment, 2 guys started unloading, while I discussed and did the paperwork with the driver, who called been for instructions, he advised been that NO moving materials were used and informed him that I mentioned the discount Ben promised. On that call while standing next to Ray, Ben said I am discounting her $100. After getting off the call, he told me my total was $341. I asked where was the discount. Ray & I went back and forth, I advised I will pay & give Ben a call in the morning because, it was imperative that I pick up my kids. The truck was unloaded & I left at 11:30am, because I called a friend to meet me at my old house because I left something. I obtained receipt via email from Thomas with All My Sons per my request because I did not receive it after I paid for the moving service. I was charged for more than 2 hours & there was not a discount given as I expected. Spoke with Ben today 11/14/17, where he was rude from the beginning. He was initially suppose to send me what he says a bill that was going to show what the "actual" charges were supposed to be this morning via email. I did not get it. He said, since you were going to call back, I did not send it. That doesnt make any sense.Labor on the receipt is $297.50, does not equal what I was quote or matches the time frame of 2hrs. Ben stated, I went over 2hrs, because GPS shows they were at the address a little over 2hrs. Advised they werent at my home because I left at 11:30. He also stated that I used their packing material but didnt charge me for it. I informed him you cant charge me something I didnt use.He spoke to me as if he was doing me a favor for not charging me for supplies I didnt use. He told me if I didnt agree, then talk to Claims & they are going to call him anyway so good luck with that & disconnected
I would like the $100 that was promised due to the inconvenience of ALL MY SONS caused me due to they were unable to complete the move on the schedule day the deposit was made for and arranged. My kids and I had to stay in a hotel, eat out, and I had to pay for electricity and rent in two places because I was unable to turn in key at old address. Also, reschedule the exit walk through for another day which also was an extra charge for still being in the unit I was suppose out. I would also like the overage for the labor that was charged. The move was completed in 2 hours. If the crew sat in the parking lot, that has nothing to do with me. Would have been sooner if the crew wouldnt have taken a unnecessary break barely 30 minutes into the move. Also, driver Ray would have been more productive if he didnt spend most of his time trying to con me into tipping them after arguing with me about the charges. They didnt have to break down or setup any furniture for my 2 bedroom move. This was suppose to be a simple move. In the midst of this dis-pleasurable situation, they broke my dryer and glassware. I have called claims twice about a claim packet and I have yet to receive it. I used All My Sons twice a couple of years ago, no problem. It appears they are under new management Ben, which is bad for business.

This complaint is regarding theft by 3 of the employees of All My Sons of Corpus Christi, Tx Oct. 23, 2017 - packing date; delivered and unpacked, Oct. 24, 2017; Oct. 25, 2017, filed report with Comal Sheriff's Dept. regarding theft of 2 rings and today, Nov. 13, 2017 discovered theft of a lap top computer after unpacking all the boxes packed Oct. 25, 2017 before discovering that the laptop was missing. I hired All My Sons above others because of your ranking status.
All My Sons charged a deposit my credit card on October 2 to "hold" my move date of October 30, first move of the day. They no-showed.
I received a call the Friday prior to our scheduled move confirming they would arrive at 9 a.m. on Monday the 3oth. Late Sunday evening I received a call that we would now be the second move of the day and someone would contact me between 12 and 3. Nobody called so at 3 I called the office and was told it would be around 6 when they would arrive. Nothing happened. Someone called me around 7:30 and said the new plan would be to come load the truck and unpack it the next morning. When I asked were they putting us up in a hotel with our animals they said no. I have no idea where they thought we would sleep. My husband is a very patient and quiet man, but this put him over the top. He was livid. They were not agreeable to making us the first move of the day on Tuesday. More phone calls back and forth. Finally they agreed to move us Tuesday morning. We were supposed to be out of our apartment by Monday night and we both had to miss another day of work to move on Tuesday. I am not asking for the entire move to be refunded because the movers they sent were actually really awesome. They did a great job but I will tell everyone I know not to use this company!
Refund of the $250 deposit.
The deposit has been refunded.
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I asked for a refund and I received it.
Wished I had checked this website before using their service.
They have great service on the front end but after the move..... virtually none!! Desk was broken in the move and bar-b-grill was damaged. Information submitted by email. No response. Called back and the poor women in the claims department was out on vacation, then sick and was 30+ days behind schedule. This was in mid August. No one called me back or emailed me back. It was all on me. Determination got me to where I am today. It is now November 9, 2017 and my claim has been received and I will get a check in 30 days. It doesn't cover the cost of the replacement desk much less repairing my BBQ grill! I'm an accountant I do checks in a day!! Maybe they could put some of that great customer service staff that takes care before and on the day of the move on the backside of the operations. Just a suggestion. USERS BEWARE.
What a nightmare. No communication
Business said $250 deposit required to book move. Then they cancelled move & refused to refund deposit because crew stopped by for 10 minutes.
Business did not disclose that deposit was non-refundable if their crew paid a momentary visit before cancelling a scheduled moving service. They only said that it would apply toward my final bill for the job. I explained when placing the order that my move would require them to bring up to 40 boxes and to provide packing service. They acknowledged this saying it would be no problem. The crew arrived with no boxes and left minutes after seeing loose items requiring packing. Minutes after that the business called to say the crew "did not feel comfortable" with it so they were cancelling the move. I had already taken the day off work to move November 1st. I asked how they would refund my $250 deposit? The business replied that because their crew had come to my address they did not have to refund my deposit. I did not dismiss the crew. They dismissed themselves and cancelled a move I took off work to complete. I am out $250, a vacation day and obliged to locate more reputable and reliable movers. I would not want to be part of the family this company promised to treat me like.
Refunding my $250 deposit is the least they can do. Alternately they could agree to allow me to rename their business.
Thank you, the deposit has been refunded. Please allow 3-5 business days to reflect on your end.
I set up a move, all they were going to do was unload a truck. They did explain everything which was very helpful. They also knew I was coming from out of town. Then they called and tried to change their arrival time last minute. Then they acted like they didn’t know where the move was going to take place at and it was actually 3 miles from their location. I did not realize this until after the fact. After some discussion and persistence they arrived on time. They unloaded the truck in 1 hour, charge for 2 hours minimal and then ½ hour drive time each way knowing they were only traveling 3 miles to their destination. The movers were nice and helpful but stated they make their money with tips so being from out of town and not realizing all of the above I tipped them very well for their one hour of work. I ended up paying for 3 hours and 9% FULE. Clearly they took advantage of the situation.
THE WORST moving experience! CONCERNED FOR OUR SAFETY AND THEFT!
1. Arrive with moving truck 2/3rd full of other people's things. Took 9 hours to load 4-bedroom house with already packed boxes because they couldn't get everything to fit in the truck.
2. Wanted to load mattress and electronic indoor spinning bike onto open air extension of the truck with ripped mattress bag for a move that required 5hours of driving, overnight stay and next day delivery in Florida.
3. Applied packing tape directly onto furniture when wrapping with furniture pads, ruining wooden furniture.
4. Ripped mattress bags, not replaced on request, dragged through dirty moving truck and floor, 1yr old, clean mattress delivered dirty.
5. Delivery day, no notification of arrival time, had to call multiple times to find out they are waiting on "day-laborers" to help them unload the truck. Arrived 2:30pm to unload truck.
6. Day laborers, local, inexperienced, dressed in visibly soiled, baggy clothing, with no socks and slippers. Concerned for our safety and theft.
7. Heavy boxes stacked on top of fragile labeled boxes. Custom bench fabric ripped from poor handling, dark wood dining room table multiple scratches from careless handling. Furniture dis-assembled forcefully damaging structure. Beds not put back together resulting in potential injury.
8. Rude, unprofessional, vulgar, employee asking for payment upfront before delivery and demanding to sign all paperwork prior to work being completed.
A few weeks ago I hired AMS to move some items from my house in Baltimore Maryland to my parents' house in Annapolis Maryland. I called and spoke to Brandon in the Baltimore/Hanover office and he was very helpful. That's where the positive experience with AMS ended.
The day the movers showed up the first thing they told me was that I should have called AMS and canceled the move and then hired the movers directly for less money. They complained that AMS takes most of the money from the move and that they make more money using the truck on the side. He then informed me that they do accept tips. I said no and that they should get started. The truck loading process was SLOW. It was obvious they were taking their time since it was an hourly job and care was not taken with our items. Wooden benches and bed frames were knocked on the cement steps and drive way as they carried them to the truck and the dented a wall in our stair well with a dresser. When I pointed out the dent the guys got visually annoyed and took a few pictures but never apologized. Also at one point one of the guys asked me to pitch in and help move some of the furniture because the other guy was busy on the truck.
Once the truck was loaded it took them at least 20 minutes to leave and then I left shortly after to meet them in Annapolis. It took them an hour and a half to get from my house to my parents, that same drive took me 35 minutes and I had to pay for the drive plus mileage. There is no reason it should have taken them that long to get there.
When they did arrive, the driver told me that we could call AMS and tell them the move was complete, I could pay AMS for the few hours to load and drive and then pay the crew out of pocket and on the side for a lower rate to complete the job. Again, I told him that wasn't a good idea and that we should get going with the unpack. The unpack went ok but again it was painfully slow and not efficient.
All in all, I paid $733.00 and I feel for the service I received and the lack of care and professionalism this rate is ridiculously high. I called the Baltimore office when the crew left and explained all this to Paul (the manager) and he did apologize and said that this isn't how they do business and he would be calling me back early the next week with some form of a refund, but I never heard from him.
I'm not unrealistic in thinking I shouldn't pay for the service, I just think the price I paid for the service rendered is unrealistic. The crew took no care for our property and made me feel uncomfortable by trying to get me to hire them on the side for cash.
to whom it may concern; we are very sorry about the way those men conducted there self. Those men are no longer working employed with us and we are doing a full review and we will do what we can do make this right we will be able in touch with you to go over a resolution.
Again I apologize on the behalf of All My Sons Moving & Storage
If I could give negative stars... I would. We had the concierge package of full pack and move one-way out of state. While they may have showed up on time, they destroyed our belongings. They wrapped our belongings haphazardly, ultimately damaging not only major appliances and furniture, but also irreplaceable family mementos. *** did an amazing job of selling the service to us, how it was much better to go with them rather than the van lines... but what he sold us was total garbage. I continue to find more and more damage each day as we have been able to settle in our new home. If you for some reason do not head to my warning, make sure to buy extra insurance because it is a most definite that they will damage your stuff. I tried following up with this branch after the move and you guessed it, radio silence! They get your money and they are done. Good luck!
Company did not make me aware of all the fees that were involved. They overcharged me and did not all of the services that they promised me.
On the week on 09/23/17 I called all my sons moving company to schedule a move for 09/23/17. I called them and spoke to Joseph who I explained to that I was looking for the movers to mount my TV. He explained that if I got the approval from my apartments that it was something they could do and there was no extra charge for it.THIS IS THE ONLY REASON I CHOSE THEM. He mentioned it was 129.00 an hour with a 2 our minimum which I was okay with and a fuel fee, but I had to make a deposit first. I ended up having to call back a few minutes later and talking to a female that finished the order for me and said that I would get an email that had all the information I needed.I never got this email and was never made aware of a flat fee of 129.00 just to come out to my apartment, which if I had known I would have never chose them. keep in mind I moved 2 minutes down the street and ended up spending 650.00.So on 09/23/17 @ about 1:30pm I call them to see what time they were coming because they were suppose to cal an hour in advance and they guy advised that they were already on the way....Well this was a busy day so a heads up(like promised) was necessary to make sure that someone was there. Thankfully they gave us an hour before they started charging us but there was still probably 30 minutes of time that I paid for that for where they were just sitting because they were waiting for someone to get there. Up to this point I didn't have any issues except the not calling thing. In order to save time and money I had them just move the big stuff and some boxes leaving a whole lot of stuff behind for me and my wife to move, even though I spent 350.00. SIDE NOTE: I have used other moving companies and spent no more than 200 and they moved ALL of my stuff further but I digress. SO after the move the movers say that they cant mount my TV and that that is not something they offer and If I was unhappy about the price to check the email they sent me. I was livid because I never got an email and I was promised that the TV would be mounted. So while they were there a call the Carrolton office at 5pm, no answer.. I call the 888 phone number on the website talk to a girl that was adamant the movers should mount my TV and couldn't understand why they wouldn't. They moving guy said he was from the Ft Worth office and the Carrolton booked the move so maybe they do things differently. The girl also told me that my email address was wrong which to me seems like to much of a coincidence that they didn't mention the fees and I didn't get the email. Keep in my mind my email is *** and they had ***. I mean I can see how a type-o can be made but it just seems like to much of a coincidence. SO the next day I 09/24/17 I get an email of the summary of charges.........The charged me for 3 hours of labor even though they were only there from 2:45-4:45 along with the 129.00 travel fee..fuel charge and fee foe supplies. They charged me for 12 units of tapes and for some wrap. EVERY SINGLE BOX WAS TAPED UP BEFORE THEY GOT THERE SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY USED TAPE ON. OH AND THE EMAIL I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN AFTER MY INITIAL CALL I RECEIVED ON 09/25/17 2 DAYS AFTER THE MOVE since that day I've called the 888 number and customer care a couple times, unfortunately customer care can only tell me to send and email *** which I did on 09/25/17. I called customer care again on 09/30/17 and they guy said give it a couple days. At this point its been 9 days and I haven't heard anything back. I was charged for an extra hour..wasn't made aware of all the fees..never got the email that would have made me aware of the fees...I was charged for tape they didn't use...they promised me a mounted TV and it was NOT done. The fact that they have a Customer Care line and the only thing they can do is tell me to send an email is stupid.
I need MOST of my money back because I feel like they purposely hid these charges. I would have never hired them if i had gotten that initial email of the charges. My TV still is not mounted so now I have to pay someone else to do that too.
Cameron, thank you for calling us on 10/16/2017 when we resolved your concerns. As you will recall we refunded packing materials and one hour of labor, we appreciate you working with us and stating that this was a fair resolution for your concerns. Please let us know if we can be of any more assistance.

We hired AMS to move a few items from one residence to another. I specified that a refrigerator was one of the items and also asked that they provide two wardrobe boxes to move clothing. Our refrigerator was only two months old and required that the doors be removed to get it out of the house. At the time of installation we asked the Sears installation team if a moving company could handle the move. Their reply was that any reputable company would know what to do. The men from AMS did not have a clue as to how to remove the doors so decided to try to move the fridge by simply opening the doors. That did not work but in their effort they actually bent the frame of fridge. This damage cannot be fixed. They also damaged the kitchen door frame. They finally did remove the doors but in the process dented and scratched the freezer door. Upon arrival at our new residence they could not reassemble the fridge. They wasted so much time trying to figure out how to reattach the doors that we were charged an extra hour because of their incompetence. They also did not come prepared with complete wardrobe boxes. The boxes were used and broken down with no bars for hanging the clothes. Their solution was to fold the clothes and place them in the boxes. The clothes arrived wrinkled and had to be sent back to the cleaners for straightening out. I felt that I signed their contract under duress because they did not make their details known until the afternoon before the move and I did not feel I had an option if I wanted the move to progress. They did not fulfill their contract with us by sending untrained, ill-prepared movers. Although the men tried hard, they just didn't know what they were doing. They caused twice the amount of damage as the move actually cost which they will not pay because they pay a percentage on the pound. I never saw them weigh our move.
Product_Or_Service: household lmoving
Other (requires explanation) I want Revdex.com to be aware of the sloppy work done by AMS, their coverage that doesn't meet industry standards, and their refusal to make things right. . We had to have a Sears repairman come to reassemble our fridge so that it would work and received an estimate from him for replacing the damaged freezer door. The cost for the service call and the door replacement came to $1,059.13 which far exceeded the cost of the move. AMS offered $300 dollars and would not refund the cost of the move or the extra hour incurred because they didn't know what they were doing.
Please call your customer care specialist Deb Andersen, she is assigned to your complaint and claim and she can asist you. XXX-XXX-XXXX
PLEASE DO NOT USE. I HAVE MOVED MANY TIMES AND I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE. ALL MY SONS IS INCOMPETENT AND UNETHICAL. I hired All my Sons in Fort Myers to move me and my family from Bonita Springs to MA. In every aspect the move was a nightmare. Time frame given for delivery after pickup was 3 to 11 days. That is too long a time frame. The men who loaded our items in FL did not put anything down on the hard wood stairs and proceeded to slide boxes and furniture down on it rubbing off the stain. We sent photos to the manager Patrick and he acknowledged the damage and said he would send someone out right away to fix. Guess what. No one came. We followed up with him repeatly and he never called back. In order to receive your items you must pay first before they unload. They protect themselves but not the consumer. Only 2 men came to unload our items and it took them from 1:30 to 10:00 pm. They were very slow.
They asked me to help them which I did. I checked items off a list, I carried in light boxes, I had to leave to pick up their dinners, I unwrapped tape and blankets from large items. Several items were packed incorrectly so they were damaged. Small white lamp packed upside down in a bucket. Broken and unusuable. Tall rotating fan was damaged doesn't work properly. 40" tv was packed in a box with a 60" tv, no protective barrier was placed on it so tv is scratched. The movers did not unpack the TV's so I found out about that the next day. The movers did not unwrap my sectional couch. A box that I properly packed and labeled is missing. When I inquired about it, I had to call several times before someone called me back. I believe the box was stolen by the movers. A customer service rep emails you a claim form to fill out and submit to a 3rd party company. The company washes their hands of all mistakes.
The WORST service ever! I paid a $250 deposit to confirm a moving date. On 8/31/17, day of the move, I called to see if they were running on time. I spoke to the owner who informed me that my appointment was canceled because I did not return their call the day before. In the voicemail, Tony didn't indicate my slot would be canceled if I didn't return the call.
The owner was very arrogant and rude. He told me that he had 26 other people to move that day. Hmmm. $250 X 27 = $6,750 in deposits.
I wonder how many other moves he canceled? I'm waiting for my refund. By the way, after the owner made it clear that he couldn't care less that I was left without movers on the last day of the month, he had the nerve to tell me that he has an "A" rating with the Revdex.com. You have 38 complaints registered against you. I will file #39.
People beware of All My Sons.
Fort Worth
Unresolved Moving Damage to Property
Moving crew backed over my mailbox at my source address on Sat, Aug 26. General Manager, Benjamin Robb (Memphis), promised to complete repairs on Mon, Aug 28; that did not happen.
I called the office twice between Aug 29-30 but was unable to reach the General Manager; I called again on Aug 31 and spoke to him, at which time he promised to again have the repairs completed by the weekend; as of Sun, Sep 3 that still has not happened. The mailbox remains lying on the grass, unrepaired. I have no confidence in the General Manager's promises; 2 promises in one week, zero results.
Repair my mailbox back to its original condition and location; i.e. permanently installed in an upright position, mounted on a center pole, which is embedded in concrete below ground.
Please call the safety and fleet department, the number is 469.461.5000, ask for safety and fleet
I called company for a moving quote. I was given a quote of $1300.00. But my move was actually $2800.00. Company was unethical.
I was prepared to pay the company $1300.00 as quoted by Anthony. The guys moving were very nice but for some reason put all the boxes on the truck first. I had to leave and was unable to be there to see what they were doing. My daughter was there. She called me and told me they were unable to get all the big things on the truck but they would go back and get them. I fell they loaded all the boxes first so they would not have room for the big stuff so they could go back to get the rest to make more money. The truck gets to my new house and the "head" guy ask for payment. He told me I had paid 179, which I had. And 2600 was due. I was shocked. I told him my estimate was 1300 how did it more than double. He said 1300 was their minimum move. And he gets this reaction a lot. I paid the 2600 and signed what I thought was for my payment. The guys moving me were young. They tried to do a good job but they were young. Taking care of people's furniture was not first on Thier list. Many of my pieces of furniture was scratched and scuffed up. My bedroom suit had white marks all over it. The marks were removable but for a move that cost almost 3000.00 I should not have to fix or repair anything it should have been taken care of. Later that night I looked at my email that had been sent from All my sons. The signature spot I thought I was signing for payment was actually stating I received all my items and was satisfied with the move. How could I be satisfied with the move when all my belongings are still on the truck. I had a true professional move from Birmingham to Nashville in the mid '90's. After everything was off the truck I was handed a form. I was told if I Needed to file a claim for anything this is the form to do so. All my sons never gave any such form. They get you to sign on a tablet where the print is so small you can't read it and make you think you are signing for payment. I have moved many times and this is the worst move I've ever had. In top of 3000.00 I still had to get family and friends to help me get the big stuff they left at my old house. The move was very unprofessional and I will never use this company again or recommend them to friends or family.
Worst movers ever! Furniture not wrapped. Most items damaged, several items missing.
I met with Matt with "All my sons moving" on August 2nd, he gave me a quote to pack and move my 4/3 bathroom home in Round Rock, Tx. 78681 to Corpus Christi, Tx. 78418 on August 26th between 8:30AM and 9:30AM of $10,000 to $13,000 depending on the length of time they had to store my furniture in their warehouse. Matt took a $1,300.00 deposit from me and guaranteed me his crew would be 4 men that would take very great care of my belongings. Well, nobody showed up until 3:05PM!! Todd did call and tell me he was trying his best to get a team to my home, however, there is a hurricane!! Well, we in Round Rock, Tx. Are almost 200 miles from the hurricane in Corpus Christi!! We are getting rain and furthermore packing is done inside my home, not in the rain!! There is no excuse for taking my money 24 days before the packing day and not showing up to do the job!!
