All My Sons Moving & Storage Reviews (%countItem)

I move quite frequently due to my position and I would say this moving experience with ALL My Sons in Maryland was the absolute, hands down worst (from start to finish). Interesting enough I experienced most if not all the problems many others have experienced. Where do I begin. We received an estimate which I believe was poorly done. I initially sent the estimator (son of the owner I believe) a question by email which was ignored (forcing me to call). They sent us 3 men which took 8 solid hours, which is absolutely ridiculous. This was clearly a 4 man move. This was the smallest move I have ever made; going the shortest distance and it took longer than any move I have ever experienced. ALWAYS check how many men a company will send for a move (I will never make that mistake again). Although never has a company sent so few men for a move. So even if you get really good men which I think I had, they get sloppy and tired. My brand new (1 week old) Restoration Hardware Cloud Sofa couch had at least three new stains I will need to have removed (they never wrapped the sofa as all other mover always have). Several of my pieces received small scratches and damage. Items were handled very roughly. All My Sons office practices are horrible as well. They send you computer generated messages that your move is confirmed, however, they never tell you in these messages the date of the move (which is ridiculous) this forces you to call them to confirm the actual date. At one point I received a computer generated e-mail that they "hadn't heard from me about my move" and if I didn't call them my move would be cancelled. This nonsense forced me to call them yet again. A computer "glitch" they said. They were supposed to call me three days before to go over the move...never happened. Forcing me to call them, yet again. They also have spelling errors in their computer generated e-mails (who's actually minding the store there?) Lastly, after the truck was packed and before the unload they give you numerous sheets to sign. The documents basically protect them from any liability and responsibility from damages they cause, but worst is a FORCED arbitration clause. If you don't sign everything they DON'T unload your truck. I would NEVER have done business with these people had I seen these documents up front. Clearly providing us with them, when they did (with their truck full) is nothing short of a deceptive trade practice. I blame myself for this, as I NEVER should have used these folks before checking on line reviews. The on line reviews are horrible. One final note - about halfway through the move when I was presented with the paperwork, they gave we a survey as to how they did. I DID NOT complete the survey as I told them they had not even completed the move. I told them I would fill it out when they were finished. When they were finished, the blank survey sheet was "gone" so I was unable to complete it.

I'd give ALL MY SONS a ZERO rating! I have had many moves in my lifetime and I would NEVER recommend All My Sons Moving Company to anyone.

My Complaint is specifically the All My Sons McKinney TX. Office. Taylor, the estimator conned me, knowing I had 2 other bids, told me All My Sons would never charge me over their estimate! So the con began and he underestimated the job at $4229 with a $500 deposit. I expected a $3700 balance due; Not only did they charge me over, they tried to charge me over $3000 more trying to get me to pay a $6700 balance. I wouldn't pay it the day they loaded and I said I need to talk to their manager. All my Sons, McKinney, TX. operations manager and the estimator said, "Ma'am it took longer than expected and Well ma'am if you don't pay it, we will dump all you stuff in the parking lot" ( at the storage unit). Even though I was totally dissatisfied with the movers; the inefficient packing of the truck, the unbearably slow movers; I said I would only pay the estimated amor of $3700 due. They said no and didn't even include my deposit toward that amount. Now, my precious things are being held ransom for an over-inflated amount! After my protest, the price came down, but did not come down to the estimated price.

The estimator, *** , needs to go to a move and see how slow the movers are and how inefficiently they pack the trucks. Also, We agreed that to save money, I would have a crew in Mckinney then drivers get truck to my home in San Antonio. Then have a crew in my new location instead of paying drive time for one crew. That did not happen.

My move was from storage units, professionally packed. Numerous times, I saw 4 men standing and watching one man working. I also had to go to the truck and see a few men sitting and telling them to keep working. Also, One of the guys asked me why I owned certain items...I was shocked that these guys were going through my stuff! At the end of the loading, one guy came and asked me what I wanted to get rid of because he could not fit it on the truck...WHAT? I looked in the truck and I have never seen a truck packed so inefficiently; no organization, nothing stacked properly and things just all in disarray. At this point, my stuff was being held hostage and I just knew everything would arrive broken.

Regretfully and Hesitantly, I paid. I asked when can I expect them to arrive at my new destination. The movers would not answer and would only say, I'll call you tomorrow. I had expected to drive to my new home that night, they had everything I owned in the truck. I had this sickening feeling I would never see my things again. I felt like I had been ROBBED. I was being held hostage to pay for that abuse! No one should ever have to live with that treatment or disrespect!!!!

Fast forward the next day, I finally received a call from the movers...My thought was, " Good, I might see my things again". My new home was a six hour drive. During my drive, I was stuck in traffic for 2 extra hours so I had a friend let the movers in. The movers are now working fast; not because they should have all along, but that they had a long drive ahead of them. My friend said, they dumped and dropped everything and she kept hearing things crash.

I arrived to the movers leaving and said NO they had to come back to the house so I could see how they left it. I drove up to a driveway and street of broken glass!!!! I knew this was going to be bad. IT WAS WORSE!

This move was mainly from storage units - AMS blamed most of the broken things on the previous movers. I understood, but the broken items in question were boxes and framed art the previous movers never saw or touched! I have Three pieces of my favorite art - All my Sons broke two of them! Why was the smallest guy unloading the truck and dropping and breaking things as they hit the street? The crew kept saying the previous company broke those things. The previous movers never touched those things!

I walk in to my home and there is stuff everywhere...on every inch of the floor. You can't walk around, I see boxes marked Fragile on the bottom of a stack of boxes of books! The previous movers did not put that fragile box on the bottom of the stack in my new home! Things were dumped just to get them out of the truck. I asked please put all the outdoor tools and pots in the back yard; 1/2 of those things are in the garage. Furniture was left in the middle of the room; again just dumped. I will have to hire another moving company to help me move things in my new home... it won't be All My Sons!

Now days later; still no word or answer from All My Sons Moving Company to my many emails or calls to complain and file claims of my broken items.

From my own horrifying experience, DO NOT HIRE ALL MY SONS MOVING COMPANY!

Sincerely

I used All My Son’s about 5 years ago when from an apartment to my home, and they did a great job…no complaints. We decided to use them again when we moved into a new home since they did a great job the first time around….it was nothing but a nightmare this time and I will never use them again. I started off by calling customer service a month prior to my move to schedule it. I walked through their 10 minute questionnaire with the associate and told them everything that we had. They recommended one truck and two men and quoted that it would take approximately 7-9 hours for the full move. I didn’t know what the size of their truck was, so I trusted that they knew what they were doing and awaited our move. I decided to call back about 2 weeks prior to the move to confirm that one truck would be enough. This time, they suggested that they would send someone out to do a full analysis and let me know if anything needed to change. This person wasn’t available until the Monday prior to our move on Saturday. When he came out, he said there is no way they could get everything into one truck, and in fact, it would be tight to get everything into 2 trucks. He suggested that we needed 5-6 men and two trucks and the cost would be DOUBLE what I was originally quoted!! He called the office to speak to management and suggested they discount me since they fouled up so badly and it was ME that called THEM to do this thorough analysis. Management was unwilling to do anything to make it right. I called several other moving companies and all were booked up; so with less than 5 days away from my move, I had no other choice but to go with All My Sons. They also did not have two trucks or the men available for my one day move, so they said it would have to be broken up into 2 days (Saturday and Sunday). I spoke to ***, who both told me there was nothing they could do except look at my final invoice and discount if for me to make up for their mistakes.
When the movers arrived on Saturday, they did a great job of moving everything and finished the first load within 5 hours. There was still plenty of time in the day to do the second load, but they were done for the day and left at 2pm. The office called during the move and said since it was supposed to rain on Sunday, could they finish the move on Monday instead. I told them that was fine as long as I had the same crew for Monday; I did this because the driver told me if I took care of him and his guys, they’d take care of me, so I tipped them very well. When Monday rolled around, a completely different crew showed up. I called the office and was told that the previous driver “was sent home…you don’t want to know about it”. I should have known better than to tip the first crew for two days worth of work, but that’s my fault. The second crew seemed to move much slower than the first crew, as it took them over 7 hours to complete the job, which included a lot less stuff. The movers were nice and I tipped them because they worked hard. I also noticed that they charged me $160/hour instead of what I was quoted, which was $149/hour. The driver told me that he would call the office and take care of it.
A few days after the move, I called Matt *** and was ready to discuss how they could compensate me for all of the issues and adjust the hourly rate that they charged incorrectly. He told me that he couldn’t do anything, that I needed to email the branch manager *** to get anything done. So I emailed *** who didn’t respond. I re-sent the email 4 days later and he responded, saying that he apologized for not getting back to me and would look at everything that morning and get back to me. That was 6 days ago and I still haven’t heard anything. I followed up again 2 days ago and still have not heard anything.
I find it ridiculous that a company can treat people this way and still get business. Good old fashioned customer service doesn’t seem to apply with these people. I wish there was a way to get ahold of their corporate office to explain how poorly their St. Louis operation is run. The St. Louis branch has a terrible rating with the Revdex.com, on yelp and google.

We hired this company because their ad copy said they were a local company and they promised a fair rate in their estimate: "Worst case, $1300."
As it turns out, they are based in Texas, not Arizona, and the actual cost of our move ended up being over $3000 for a cross-town move.
Additionally, they did not send an adequate size truck for a three bedroom house with garage. They barely got two bedrooms' worth of our items in the truck they sent, not including the bathrooms and garage. They sent a crew of two experienced movers and two trainees instead of the agreed-upon three person team. They claimed it was a bonus that we were getting an extra person for free, as they were only charging us half price for each of the two trainees. The trainees were so bad that the move would have gone faster without them.
Late in the day, in the middle of it all, the team lead had to be switched out for another team lead due to a personal commitment on the first team lead's part. By this time, the truck was getting pretty full, and there was a whole lot left to move. At the point where they ran out of room in the truck, they switched to getting ready to go to the new house. I came back the next afternoon after work to find that any items that they had staged for possible placement in their truck which were not subsequently put in the truck were left in the front yard, instead of being moved back inside or even into the garage. Who knows how much stuff went missing, but there is a lot of stuff that I still cannot find, two months later. I had to go to the house with a 15 foot U-Haul truck twice to finish up myself what they didn't complete, as well as multiple trips by car to pick up fragile items.
They left the house in such a mess, our realtor had difficulty showing our house, which nearly cost us the sale of the house, due to the mess of unused and partially-used packing materials they left throughout the house. Needless to say, once she was informed of what happened, she will not be recommending this company for any of her clients.
At the new house, their crew set the bed frame in our master bedroom and laid the flat, airless Sleep Number mattress on it, and proclaimed the bed 'set up'. The very next day, we called them about the beds. Another crew came, THREE DAYS AFTER THE MOVE, found the pump pieces (which were in some other box, not marked as parts for the bed), and assembled it for us. In the interim, my disabled fiancée and I, and her 75 year old mother who was our guest at the time of the move, all ended up having to sleep on the hard floor.
As we unpacked in the following days, we found food items stuffed into boxes marked fragile, which went moldy and caused us to throw out many of those items. We found boxes marked 'KITCHEN FOOD' in the garage, because, of course, that's where food belongs. We found our butter dish, with butter still in it, inside another box, where it had melted all over the items in that box and ruined a number of them.
We called the company about this, and after several attempts to get through to them, we finally spoke to someone. They're based in Texas, two time zones ahead of us, and apparently don't staff their office past 5pm Texas time, so I had to take time off work to try to get this dealt with. The person we needed to speak to was not available. They promised us the person would call us back the very next day, "to make things right." That was at least 5 weeks ago now.
There are not enough expletives in the languages of all of the world that could be added in front of the word 'displeased' to multiply the meaning of 'displeased' to within ten orders of magnitude of how I actually feel about the job they did.
Avoid this company at all costs.

This is one of the worst moving experiences I've ever had. As for the pricing, DO NOT rely on the quote they give you because it will most likely be about double that amount. Once they arrive at your new home, they show you the bill to sign. If you don't agree to their extortion, they won't unload the truck and the billable time keeps running. I moved all of a total of 4.1 miles and they charged me a fuel surcharge of $189.00!!! LOTS of hidden fees that were never mentioned on the quote.

They promised on the phone that they moved washers and dryers. However, when the workers got there they informed my that that DO NOT move washers and dryers, so they never got moved. I had to pay an additional $100 just to get them moved to the new place. The was a classic bait and switch routine and they are VERY good at it. They are almost criminal in nature.

Why did they take 30 minutes to drive to my new location when it was a mere 4.1 miles away. I was being charged for those 30 minutes which was just another tactic to bill me as much as they could get away with. They are nothing but sales sharks who are out to scam as many people as possible. They DID NOT take the boxes to the designated rooms as promised during the quote. They just left them laying there as close to the door as possible. They did not care at all as to my satisfaction as a customer.

I thought I heard it all, but when they were done unloading, they had the audacity to ask for a $100 gratuity. When I said I didn't have any cash, they said the would take a check!! They made it a point to tell me that while we were discussing that issue, the clock was still running, thus charging me even more money. They squeeze as much out of you as possible. Again, extortion was committed by keeping the clock going until I agreed to give them a gratuity. That, by definition, is a criminal offense which I will be looking into further.

I've tried to communicate with them on three occasions and they have done nothing but ignore me. So, a quote of $700-$800 turned out to be be $1380 for the moving portion, then the $100 out of my pocket to get my washer and dryer to my new home and, of course the $100 gratuity they received by committing extortion. That is a total of $1580, double what the original quote was.

Completely pushy, rude, and non responsive once they had the deposit. That is all they care about, how much they can stick it to you. Then they seem to have absolutely no time to talk or communicate with you. In 25 years of doing business, I can honestly say, this may be the worst experience I've had in any industry.

DO NOT use this company unless you want to be completely ripped off.

Horrible experience. Cost me $1000 to move a two bedroom place from Garland to Dallas. All My Sons sent out 3 guys and two of them hardly did anything. There was so much standing around and socializing, to the point that a friend and I felt the need to load the truck by ourselves. I called the office to complain several times during the move and the crew was aware of it- and still, I did not see any improvement. Two years ago- moving into this house with the same amount of stuff only took 2.5 hours with 3 friends doing the work- and this move took 5 HOURS! In the end, the guys milked the clock terribly at my expense. After all the complaining, I only received an "I'm sorry" from the company. I will never use this company again.

The way these guys conduct business is very shady. They will quote you something and charge you something else entirely. Also provide incomplete info.
The way these guys conduct business is very shady. They will quote you something and charge you something else entirely. They also do not provide accurate info or if they provide any info it is usually incomplete info. Also, they hire movers who are thieves. I lost my $300 PlayStation and high end wireless Bluetooth speaker worth $150 during the move.
Before they actually do the move, they are very nice and give you an impression that these guys are really professional at what they do. However, once they take the $100 deposit, their tone changes and the service is very lackluster. I have never been this humiliated in my life when they charged my $540 for a move that should have in all honesty cost me half of that amount or even less. They do false advertisement of the prices and overcharge you. As a well educated person, I felt extremely humiliated knowing clearly that these guys overcharged me and robbed me in clear daylight. It felt helpless that I could not do anything and had to pay them. I am never this salty about businesses and their services but this is something that is not acceptable at all. This isn't overpaying for a can of tuna or something, we are talking about hundreds and thousands of dollars that these guys must have scammed from people. I only had a one bed room apartment so these guys were only able to scam me $300 extra but think about people who are moving houses. Those guys will be scammed thousands and thousands of dollars of their hard earned money. Please do us all north texans a favor and put an end to this business and its scammy ways. A lot of people will be grateful including myself. Also, the manager there I believe his name is Clay, he needs to be treated a lesson in how to provide good customer service and to be nicer to people. Business is not onyl about being nice to prospective customers but also providing excellent service once the business is being executed and the service is concluded. He was very nice before the move and once the move day came and I started questioning some of thier practices such as having to have a minimum 2 hour move (which was not communicated to me and a quote wasn't provided either), he started getting rude and starting blaming me that I didn't read the quote which I never received in the first place. Being in a servicve oriented business like this, Clay you have to have a better tone and respect your customers. It inst always about the money. Your business runs on a good word of mouth and based on the quality of service you provide to your customer, your business will not be around for long. Also, please tell these guys to stop buying reviews and followers on google. It is clear that these guys purchased those to make it look like they provide excellent service which is absolutely false. These guys are the worst business I have ever had to deal with.

Desired Outcome

The only resolution I want from my compliant is for the following items I lost during the move: PS4 system (Worth about $300 new) but used it would be worth around half. I lost of JBL speaker but I am not even concerned about that. I was overcharged about $1XX-XXX. I only needed the service for an hour and 1 hour of driving time + 12% gas. Based on this, the charge should have been $150 X 2 = $300 + $50 + $25(packing supplies) = $375. For rounding purposes, say $400. My final bill was $541 which is more than what i was told. So altogether, I was overcharged $141 and lost my PS4 to the movers/driver.

After humiliating me during the move by thieving from me, I do not accept any resolutions from this business. Also, do not call my personal number. The only resolution that I am gonna have is to make sure that I tell about you guys to all my friends, family and warned about your conniving ways of doing business.

I would like to be provide credit for the PS4 that was stolen by the movers. I also had to pay for a minimum of 2 hours of move when this was never communicated to me prior to the move and was never provided a quote (although the office claimed they sent it to me which is a blatant lie). Provide me credit for the lost item and an hour of service which I was overcharged. I was quoted $150/hour for the service. This is the resolution I am asking for( which Im doubtful that this business will provide. Might just be my wishful thinking.)

This company uses deceptive pricing tactics and overcharges for service. I moved from a one bedroom apartment (with NO bedroom furniture), had some boxes a small dining room table and a small amount of living room furniture and they charged $869! When I called for pricing, they said based on what I had it would cost a pc. $439. Well big difference and had I known it would cost ad much I would have certainly used another company. Long story short, when they arrived with my furniture at my new apartment, they gave me the bill to pay before they'd unload the furniture, well needless to say I refused to pay that amount and calledbtje owner immediately. This man is condescending, rude, deceptive and treated customers with an astounding amount of disrespect. He wouldn't negotiate anything and told the guys to leave with my furniture still on the truck. After much arguing with him, he finally agreed to credit my card $201.00. Well, when the credit didn't show up, I called and he said ok I'm doing it right now, when credit still didn't show I called again and he said he wasn't able to issue it as his card reader was broken and he asked corporate to send a check. Needless to say, I can't get a hold of anyone at corporate have no credit or check and have gotten the run around. This by far is the worst company I have ever dealt with and can't understand how they are still in business. When searching for a mover....do not use this company.

Used this company for our move, was paying for them to pack and move us. When the "packer's" came and I use that term loosely they didn't even pack our pantry, bathrooms or our kitchen. They charged us for wardrobe boxes and didn't bring a one! Didn't bring enough boxes for our TVs. Was ridiculous, had to try to pack everything left behind even the second crew that was set to actually move us was shocked. When I called the company to let them know what was going on they said that they would "discount" our total which in the end they took off $20. When your paying almost $4,000 I'd excepted a lot more especially when the guy who gave us the quote promised an easy process with employees that are screened. Right one of the packer's told my husband he had a felony weapons charge. Will NEVER us again nor recommend. So disappointed

The crew was polite, hard-working, & efficient. Sales office very helpful--even called during move to check on things. Great moving experience!

We have moved multiple times with no problems with other companies. We decided to give All My Sons Moving an opportunity to gain our business and.......I can tell you this will be THE LAST TIME we ever use them. Not only did they arrive late to load they also arrived late to unload.

As they were loading our Stainless Steel New Refrigerator I informed them it was new and that it dents easily so take extra precaution with thick layering. They ignored me and guess what happened when they unloaded. You guessed it! Multiple dents on the doors as well as the doors do not line up anymore to get a good seal. Oh yeah, forgot to mention the three pieces of furniture that was broken...a couch, a bookshelf, and a dresser.

So we decided of course to put in a claim and they gave us a Big Whopping $400 to fix all of our issues. Are you F&)!! kidding me. I just asked for someone to come out and take out the dents in our new refrigerator that cost $2800. Nope...said they were doing us a favor by giving us $400.

So..... I will continue to post to multiple boards and let my friends, family, neighbors, and ANYONE that will ever think about moving NOT to EVER USE ALL MY SONS MOVING.

They were nice and friendly all the way till the end of my elderly mothers move to texas, then 2 stereos came up missing. I called them, emailed them to no avail. Constantly trying to get things resolved and nothing was done other than supposedely an empty claim form and nothing has come of it. Very disappointed and thought they were an upstanding company. Stay away from them, runaround galore.

Damages, lazy 2nd worker sent to me.
So, I thought that all of the reviews and emails I had replied to saying there was an issue would maybe, just maybe, spark someone's attention to get this handled.

The 2 guys that were sent to do my move...

#1 Why am I paying full price for a new guy that has NO IDEA how to do his job? I pay full price for full workers, this new guy would be considered a half worker with how he "works" then damages stuff.
#2 Why did said new guy put (2) holes in my upstairs wall just to tell me about it and not offer a solution??
#3 Why has no one gotten back to me on this matter?

Desired Outcome

150.00 dollar refund for the damages and the "2nd guy" i paid for that was new and did not do everything entailed.

All My Sons Moving & Storage Response

A customer care specialist will be calling the customer, thank you.

Great move from the initial estimate to packing, moving, unpacking and placement of our household goods. No damage. The crew took great care to ensure we were satisfied. After eight moves with the Department of Defense in a thirty year career, this was by far the best move we ever experienced. The really good news? The cost of the move was less than originally estimated. Our sincere thanks to the Big Boss, his staff and most certainly to the crews. If you get a lead driver by the name of Robert S, you're in very good hands. My only regret is that we didn't get to meet the ***. Thanks to everyone for a job very well done!

I was expecting reason care from all my son's moving
But got a surprise from the movers they damaged more
Damaged alot. Unprofessional people.
On June X XXXX they moved me from Dallas TX to Denton XBOX. THEY complain the entire time about the furniture being heavy. They also told me there was a crew for 3rd floor moves which was not sent to move me. 2 guys about 20 ,25 and maybe 45 yrs old. They dragged my $4000.00 bed down some stairs also dragged my mattress cover and got oil on it, these items I had just purchased on March 5, 2017. They broke a piece out of a king head board, broke the bracket on the vacuum cleaner. The bed frame they broke the 1st pad (it has 5 pads and auto bed). Theyou broke a piece out of a ginger jar I had just purchased a month ago, broke 2 plates, they lost 10 pieces of glass that cost $466.80 to replace (when I called the manager at all my son's they asked about the glass from the drivers and they stated they delivered the glass but it was never delivered)
They broke some draw tracks out of the dresser. I can'tell use 2 pieces of furniture because they did not deliver the glass.

Desired Outcome

Items repaired are replaced. They are only wanting to pay $500.00

All My Sons Moving & Storage Response

We are working towards a resolution with our customer, we believe this *** be resolved very soon, thank you!

On July 20, 2017 All My Sons Moving provided sub-standard service while moving my 81 year old parents. Prior to the move it was requested that they make an on-site evaluation of the need. They declined to do so. The truck was too small for my parents contents. The movers left with a full truck and contents still in the house. They made no effort to retrieve the remaining contents. I was forced to use two pick-up trucks and 2 cars to move the remaining contents. Several trips were required. I spoke with Matt *** on July 24 to voice my displeasure with his company. He tried to pass my complaint off to another manager. I never heard from that other manager. This company should be avoided by all consumers. Had I not been available to assist my parents they would have had to hire a second moving company to retrieve their possessions.
The move took considerably longer than we were quoted: 3 hours to load, 1 hour for travel/lunch, 3 hours to unload. My parents were to turn over the home to the new owners at 4 pm. It was after 4 pm before the movers closed their truck and it took me 3 1/2 additional hours to complete the job.

They didn't inform about the change in moving date time, as a result I have to cancel the move on moving date, They didnt refund the advance amount.
I have scheduled a move with All my sons moving from Richardson to Allen on 12 July 2017 at 6PM.
I did an advance payment of $100 towards this using my visa credit card ending in 7975.
But they changed the time without informing me and on the moved day they called me and said the move was advanced to 10AM morning. This time was not acceptable to me and I have to cancel it. The employee from All my sons told me on phone that my $100 refund will be processed within 3-5 business days. But this didn't happened and when I call back after 5 business days they said, because I have cancelled the move within 48 hours I will not get the refund. This is cheating and very unprofessional way of handling things. I want compensation to all the mental stress and loss of money due to this. The quote account number with all my sons is XXXXXXX.

Desired Outcome

I want the refund immediately as promised by your employee.

All My Sons Moving & Storage Response

Customer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I accept their response, will wait till the amount credited to the account. I don't trust this business, they dont have much coordination amongst the siblings.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. When I originally scheduled my moving date with the company, I listed all of the furniture that I would need moved and I was told that I would have 3 guys coming to my apartment to efficiently move everything out and to the new place. I was also told that I would receive a call 72 hours prior to the move date to finalize everything. No one ever called me - I had to call the company the day prior to moving and spoke with the owner. When talking with him, he was disrespecting his own workers and told me that the only thing they had written under my account was a "Cheerio" cabinet....seriously?! I had gone through everything at my initial call and that is all the receiver wrote. After going through everything a second time with the owner, he guaranteed that the 3 men would be out the next day and I was to expect an afternoon move time. The following day (moving day), we waited until about 5pm and no one showed up. I attempted to call the main office numerous times, waiting while the phone rang endlessly for over an hour. No one ever answered the phone and there was no voicemail. Two men eventually showed up at 6:30-7:00pm, not bringing anything with them into the apartment. They looked around and told us that they were not able to do the job and that it would require 3 people to move in less amount of time (they said it would have taken up to 8 hours if it was just them). Their boss called me once I found this out, and told me they would reschedule us for the following day, first thing in the morning (between 8-9am). The following day, no one showed up by 11:30am. I attempted calling the office numerous times again, for over an hour. I then called the boss on his cellphone and asked where the movers were and he told me he was going to check and call me right back. 1-2 hours had passed and he never called. At that point, we were delayed almost two days with moving. By 1:00pm there were no movers so I called the boss again on the cellphone and told him to cancel everything and give me my deposit back. This was the worst customer service I have ever received and worst business I have ever dealt with. Would never recommend to anyone.

Worst experience ever. They damaged property and belongings, did not credit me for a $100 deposit, changed terms of the agreement, threaten to keep my property and treated me horribly. They are scam artists. Buyer be very aware. Stay away from this people.

Movers from AMS did $2,536.11 worth of real and actual damage to my property. A mover promised full reimbursement, but they have offered $687.84
Movers from All My Sons moving and storage damaged the following property during my move, totaling $2,536.11. One of their movers explicitly stated that the company would reimburse the damage in full. He is recorded saying as much. I have detailed documentation of the damage and cost of replacement. The company has only offered $687.84 to resolve the claim. The movers damaged multiple items and packed carelessly without using pads, shrink wrap, or covers of any sort except on a single dining room chair and entertainment center. These movers charged me for a roll of shrink wrap, two king size mattress bags, and 6 rolls of tape, none of which were used. They loaded boxes labeled fragile 6 high on a dolly and went hurriedly down the stairs with them crashing on every step. They were specifically told that a dolly would not work for moving the large dresser; however, they insisted and halfway down the stairs let if fail completely smashing in one side.

After seeing the destruction, my husband ***, asked a mover (and agent of the company) if the dresser and other furniture were subject to the 60 cent per pound limitation on damages. He was told and recorded saying, very clearly, "No." He reiterated that we would be paid back in full for the items to me personally more than once during the unloading of the furniture. However, AMS have refused to reimburse us for the damage they did despite photo evidence and the offer of video evidence.

Damaged items included: New Classic Furniture Chest of Drawers, bottom broken off and right side smashed in, $808.00. Sauder Shoal Creek Dresser, Jamocka Wood Finish, Bottom broken out and drawers off rollers, $226.63.
Nightstand from Pier 1, dents in front of stand, $100.00
Crib, Deep gashes in railing, Dent in leg, $539.25.
Changing Table, Scratches on railing, $449.25.
Queen Size box springs, Holes gashed in it, $80.00.
Outdoor Chair from Lowe's, Broken Leg, $17.98.
Print, My Heroes by Walter Brennan, Jr. Number 108 of 960, $85.00.
Crockpot- 7qt manual, Dented and Does not work, $25.00.
Happy Everything mixing bowl, Cracked, $50.00.
Happy Everything Casserole Dish, Broken, $80.00.
Happy Everything Coffee Mug, Handle Broken off, $15.00.
Glass Drink Dispenser, Shattered, $60.00.

Desired Outcome

I would like a check for $2,536.11 the value of the damage done to my property because it was expressly represented to us that we would be fully reimbursed for the damage done to our furniture.
