I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I am still very upset over the whole ordeal but at least my money was refunded in a manner that I can choose where to buy the merchandise again.

and I’m deeply sorry this wasn’t the case. I’ve taken the time to review the orders several of her wedding guests placed and it looks like our team member named Marie has provided our guest with five Target eGiftCards totaling to $237.07 as a refund for the items purchased, but she’s never received due to the incorrect address. Although Marie has issued our guest a refund for the items, I show that she still has questions regarding the refund and I’d be happy to answer them. Target offers free standard shipping on orders of $25 or more which is why the shipping cost was not included in the refund amounts because [redacted]’s wedding guests weren’t charged for shipping on the orders. · [redacted] from Chris [redacted] included two memory foam pillows where the purchase price was $66.32 including taxes and the eGiftCard issued for the refund was $66.32 · [redacted] from Elizabeth [redacted] included the hamper set where the purchase price was $48.42 including taxes and the eGiftCard issued for the refund was $48.42 · [redacted] from Jessica L. included the metal crate and doormat where the order total was $34.04 including taxes ($14.26 for the doormat and $19.78 for the metal crate) and the eGiftCard issued for the refund was $34.04 · [redacted] from Sarah [redacted] included the skillet and doormat where the order total was $47.36 including taxes ($33.68 for the skillet and $13.68 for the doormat) and the eGiftCard issued for the refund was $50.00 · [redacted] from Carl [redacted] included the pan, colander, and pizza cutter where the order total was $38.29 including taxes ($14.52 for the pan, $12.41 for the colander, and $11.36 for the pizza cutter) and the eGiftCard issued for the refund was $38.29 When the incorrect shipping address is on an order, Target is unable to send a replacement because replacement orders are sent to the same address that was provided on the original order. I’m sorry if the team members that helped our guest didn’t explain this to her. Target strives to provide our guests with a resolution on their first contact and it’s clear that this didn’t happen. I’m extremely disappointed to hear that our team member didn’t follow through by contacting her wedding guest which caused a conversation that should’ve never happened. I’ll personally follow up with the team members she’s worked with and their leaders to ensure that they’re familiar with Target’s procedures to make sure an experience like [redacted]’s doesn’t happen again. Getting married is supposed to be a joyful time and I cannot apologize enough for [redacted]’s experience. I understand how invaluable time is and while Target is unable to put a dollar amount on it, I’ve sent her a $50 Target eGiftCard to her email address. It's not referring to what target system showing now, they might have fixed data error, but the model even shown me was E60 on target.com when I placed order online, I actually wanted E60 and that's why I ordered it. If target fixes data error later and then If I return and shop for E60, I don't get those holiday prices on E60 now.

As much as I appreciate a $20.00 gift card, that does not deter from the fact that I was promised to receive my item within a reasonable amount of time for my child's due to an error on the business's part. Target is a large company and to go on the website, make a purchase and be given a date when it will be delivered and it is not is extremely disappointing and dissatisfying to a consumer. I have not shared my dissatisfaction to others, believing that the business would have come up with a reasonable solution to rectify the situation, being their fault for the delay. I am requesting a full refund for my purchase. That would resolve the matter for me.

The guest service experience she described isn’t part of our guest service philosophy, and I’ll personally follow up with our team members as well as their leaders to ensure they’re familiar with the processes and policies Target has in place. Base on my research, the iPad was received at our returns center on 7/8/16 and [redacted]’s account has been refunded in full for amount of $683.91 to her credit card. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to appear on her statement. I can’t apologize enough knowing Target has [redacted] down. I’ve sent her a $20 Target eGiftCard to her email address. She should receive the eGiftCard within 4-24 hours which can be used on Target.com or simply print it to use in stores. I know I’m not able to change what she has already experienced, but I have confidence that if she uses the eGiftCard toward a new order she will have a much better Target.com experience. I am rejecting this response because: The local police department will not do anything because I have no proof I didn't use the card add I already stated. I believe this was a scam and there was never anything on the card. If there was then target needs to provide me with the information of the person that supposedly used it so I can give this to the police department or in fact give me a replacement card .

person who has access to the gift card information is the purchaser. Since these are third party gift cards, Target has no way to see any of the redemption history, let alone provide balance information. As a result I’ve partnered with the card issuer, InComm, to gather more information. Target does indicate on our site that the cards are issued by InComm, please see the attachment. The guest only paid $807.50 for $850.00 worth of eBay gift cards. I’ve attached a table which shows the following: · When InComm received the order · When InComm delivered the email containing the eBay gift card · When email containing gift card was opened Target won’t be issuing a refund for the eBay gift cards as they were delivered to the guest’s email.
