I purchased a pretty pricey living room set from Jennifer Convertibles Store #in Rockville, MD That store is no longer open, or at least they are no longer answering the phones I purchased a warranty that is no longer honored because the warranty company went bankrupt So when you contact Jennifer Convertibles for assistance, they just state that they cannot help you What recourse does the consumer have in these types of situations???? My wife and I purchased a recliner and loveseat from Jennifer Convertibles in Carle Place, NY in December At the time of the purchase we elected to take out a full 5-year warranty on our new furniture We were told by the sales representative at the store that if any covered damages occurred to our furniture that we should contact Jennifer Convertibles directly to schedule a repair Jennifer Convertibles never provided us with a copy of the warranty service agreement at any point following the purchase nor did they mention that we would be receiving a copy of the warranty service agreement with Guardsman In late 2017/early January we noticed that there was damage to one of the springs in our recliner We contacted Jennifer Convertibles in August to request that they repair the furniture Jennifer Convertibles told us that we did not have a warranty on file with them We provided them with a copy of the sales receipt which detailed that we had purchased

I bought a couch from the online system Once the couch arrived I made a claim to the company on why the cushions were already sinking inThis couch is in a adult home with no children and is hardly used especially only after weeksSo after weeks of them sending a wrong products because they never looked at the pictures and the name of the couch given they went from a prior orderwhen they finally got the right info and sent the product it was not sent complete and the technician also agreed with me that the couch is broken in the sleeper areai had mentioned this to the supervisor in customer serviceI have mentioned since the beginning that I just want my money backThis is to much hassle for a brand new couch that one would think would come in brand new perfect condition I mean that is why we bought itIt is now January this has been on going since OctoberI just want me my money back

I bought a sleeper at Jennifer Convertibles sometime in December I even upgraded the mattress to memory foam so anyone who sleeps in it will have a restful sleep However, when I checked on the bed, it was elevated on the head portion by 2-inches I immediately called the store and reported it They told me to call Claims Department or email it, which I immediately did The Claims Department asked me to submit photos of the bed so they could check on it After sometime, a technician was sent to look at it The technician said that he will file a report A few more weeks have passed and I received a letter from Jennifer that my complaint was denied and that I can never ask for replacement or repair for my unit I wrote again to the Claims Department regarding my disappointment on the decision I cited that I have back and hip problems and sleeping using the mattress and the bed aggravated my pain I also said that I sleep flat back, as such; it is really impossible for me to sleep using their bed and asked for reconsiderationClaims Department responded to me and was really apologetic about the decision and told me to contact Michael G***, the Regional Manager I called the number they gave me, but after trying so many times and leaving many messages, he did not return my call So I told the Claims Department that he did not return my call and asked if he has an email address thinking that maybe he would response I sent an email, and even made a follow-up, but he never responded I was so disappointed He could have acknowledged at least my call or my email That was a very poor customer serviceI just want all customers to be careful when you buy furniture at Jennifer, specially their sleeper I was told by one of their staff that they received so many complaints on the elevated sleeper and they did not do anything about it Also, if you would notice the reviews in their website, it is all positive It seemed they only published the positive ones This is so deceiving Regarding the Manager’s not responding to any of my calls or email, this is so unprofessional He should not be in his position as he does not know how to handle customer complainsI will not buy again at Jennifer and will never recommend it to any of my friends

I got a piece of furniture delivered today from Jennifer Convertibles Before the delivery men even left, I pointed out that two drawers were broken The delivery men took photos , and told me they would send it to the customer service dept., and that I’d get a new dresser deliveredThey left me with the broken piece of furniture I contacted the web order team and they told me that customer service will send a technician to as and fix, I assume, my dresser My BRAND NEW DRESSER I paid for a new, undamaged piece of furniture Not a “repaired” one Can you please help me with this? I don’t want the wafer board repairedI want a new dresser The rails for two drawers are completely ripped of the dresser, and the pieces of wafer board were in the drawer If they “repair “ this , I’ll have no recourse in a year from now when the rails rip off the side of the dresser again This dresser should have been taken back to the store , as the damage was documented

I waa sold a "bonded leather" setIt peeled and flaked once we had it for one yearI noticed that when I looked at the sticker that it is only forty percent leatherYou are not allowed to sell furniture as bonded leather unless it is made up of fifty percent leatherI contacted the company with this information and I was told I was out of the one year warranteeI was not complaining about that but rather that I should not have been sold this set as a bonded leather setIts fraud and they are trixking peopleWe cant ait on our furniture because when you get up you will be covered with these flaking pieces of pleather

I bought a Bonded l*** Red Sectional couch years ago they sold it to me for l*** and it peeled from top to bottom terrible so they fixed it and put more bonded l*** and it got worst peeled and they looked Horrible,so the gave me a coupon if I purchased from them again I get half price Off so,I bought another sectional couch this time l*** chocolate brown.The sales person Kareem did not tell me to measure the Elevators to see if my new couch fit.I waited all day to have my new couch delivered took a whole day off to live the worst night mare with Jennifer Furniture the delivery people could not fit my couch in the Elevator so they left me couchless after I begged them to bring up the couch that fit so I won't be without a couch on top of that they charge a fee to dissemble the couch.I have to sit on the Floor for one week Thanks to Jennifer l*** and those rude Delivery Guys.I advise people do not do business with Jennifer furnitureVery Disappointed customer! ??

We are extremely disappointed with the couch and loveseat we purchasedfrom them The couch was delivered to us with damages They had to repair it and also had to add more stuffing to the seat and recliner A short while later the mechanism on the couch/recliner brokeThey repaired it and also stitched up some seams that were coming apartNow the mechanism broke again and some of the seams are coming apart againWe purchased this July of 2015, so this couch and loveseat are only years oldThe mechanism is made of plastic and the couch and loveseats leather are very cheaply made Only adults live in this household, so there are not any kids abusing itAs an example, I bought a sectional sofa from ** *** more than years ago that we are still using and has never broken or needed repairs and at that time we had younger kidsThey sent an email saying they are no longer responsible for repairs since it is out of warrantyThey gave me a number of someone who repair it, but when I called that number a few times, I just got a recording and no one calls back I will never recommend Jennifer Convertibles to anyone and , in fact, I will post my reviews for others to seeOrder # ***
