[redacted],
I just want to thank you so much for taking the time to assist me and helping to find a manageable solution that suits my financial needs. Since day one, you have shown nothing but the utmost professionalism and superior customer service. And for that, I am truly grateful and thankful. Please feel free to share this email with your supervisor. I would like for him or her to know what an outstanding customer representative you are! If there is a need for your supervisor to contact me, that would be fine. I don't want to take up too much of your time, but I just had to express my gratitude. Have a bless day and continue the great work. You are appreciated!
On 6/18/14 SLS Managers began the process on Mr. [redacted]'s file. Mr. [redacted] called in on 6/30/14 to cancel his account which stopped the consolidation process on his file. Mr...
[redacted] was informed at that time of the proper cancellation procedures which are: To send in written documentation to cancel his contract, during which Mr. [redacted] was also advised he was not eligible for a refund however, his recurring payments would be cancelled as of 7/10/14. I have called on many occasions in the last 3 aka and I just want for them to call me back. SLS called me after the last complaint and had agenda to maintain communication open. I have been trying to call them for 3 weeks and can't get them to return my calls.I don't know it feels like the same thing all over again. I would like for them to contact me so I can update my banking information with them before my loan starts .if not then at least Give me time to consolidate elsewhere.

My account was not brought current. Upon taking to Nelnet today my account was 13 days late which prices that they did not pay it like the assured me they did prior to my canceling. So again they have not done their job, I had to request a forbearance so my account does not become more late whole waiting for my refund which needs to be in full not what they alter after taking fees for a job they did not successfully complete.

Client services has taken care of this request.

Do not do business with SLS Managers!
*They are difficult to get a hold of and do not usually call back when they say they will.
*Their website has very little information: they do not update that your payment was processed, they do not include information such as how much/if any of your payment went toward interest.
*I gave them my new routing information 6 times before they finally got it changed (they pulled it from the wrong bank after I "changed" it with them the first time) but the website still doesn't have the correct information.

Hello Ms. [redacted],
On July 16, 2014 I was contacted by a Ms. [redacted]
from National Secure Processing about my complaint. We discussed my complaint, and why she
believes it is invalid. She restated
that her company contacted my loan holders Sallie Mae and Nelnet on June 18,
2014 and initiated a forbearance which was the start of them providing service
to me. I explained to her why I believed that her
company did not fulfill its part of their contract. I
explained to her that I contacted both Sallie Mae and Nelnet on June 29, 2014.
Sallie Mae and Nelnet both indicated that had no record of National Secure
Processing/SLS Managers or any other entity contacting them at any time before
I called them. Sallie Mae further provided me with a letter stating that fact. Ms. [redacted] responded that her agents
contacted them over the phone and that she could provide me with notes of the
dates and times they contacted my loan holders.
I then inquired why both loan holders denied that they received any form
of contact from National Secure Processing. She stated that both companies want
to keep me as a customer and they would lie to me to do so. She then restated that she has evidence of
the work her company completed and that she could provide those logs to
me. I requested the logs and she confirmed
that she would email them to me by the end of the workday. It has been over a week and I have still not
received the information that she promised me.
She did confirm that my contract was canceled and that I should not be
billed again by her company. She stated
that she would not provide me with a refund because she states that her company
already started to contact my loan holders on June 18, 2014 and requested a forbearance. She also restated how I should “not trust my
current loan holders” and that her company is “looking out for me”. I stated my disagreement and said I will
contact her after I review the information that she indicated she would email
me. I still have not received any emails or any other documents from her since
our conversation.
I then contacted my loan holders, Sallie Mae and Nelnet to
confirm that they were never contact by Ms. [redacted]’s company. Sallie Mae and Nelnet both confirmed that
they had never been contacted by her company.
Sallie Mae and Nelnet also stated that for National Secure Processing to
initiate a verbal request for a forbearance on my accounts, Sallie Mae and Nelnet each should have received my
signed power of attorney from National Secure Processing allowing this process
to occur. Both Sallie Mae and Nelnet have no records that a power of attorney was
mailed or faxed to either of them as July 17, 2014. Ms. [redacted]’s only evidence of work completed
by her company is a piece of paper she claims is in my file. Ms. [redacted] also
promised to send me this piece of paper by the end of the business day on July 16,
2014 and as of today July 26, 2014 I have still not received any information
from her. She was also supposed to
provide me with her contact information in that email so I can contact her with
any more questions. I believe that Ms.
[redacted] has not provided any evidence that her company did work on my behalf
nor evidence that contradict information I received from Sallie Mae or
Nelnet. I am still requesting a refund of my down
payment of $588.00 for no work done by her company. I am attaching the letter I received form
Sallie Mae to this email.

Ms. [redacted]’s student loan consolidation is in the completion stage. SLS Managers also waived Ms. [redacted]’s July payment .
Promise to pay Federal student loans at a discount. No payments were never made toward the student loans according to *** the ***.
I was called via phone by a solicitor at SLS managers to consolidate my student loans. After asking several times if there was a fee for their services I was told repeatedly there was not and that the reason the loans could be consolidated for free was that the federal government was giving incentives.
A year after I signed I realized that I was being charged $600 per year to have them "manage" my loans. Not only that, but all the money I had sent (~$6,000) had not been sent to pay the balance of the loan, but to a trust account which they had created without my authorization where my money was being "held." On asking why my money had not been sent to pay down the balance of the loan (to give me a lower interest rate) I was told that my interest was only $35 a month and not to worry (that's $400 a year on someone freshly out of college!!).
I was given the run around, I was swindled and continue to be robbed by this company that claims to have an honest business. Because I did not submit a cancellation request 3 months before the yearly policy renewed I am now locked into another year with this extorting company and have to pay another $600 to them which is money that could have been used to help get me out of debt.
Scandalous companies such as this need to be stopped. They prey on college student just trying to get out of debt and use means of confusion to con them into signing a contract. I would not wish this on anyone.
Review: I was contacted by SLS Managers back on August 1 2014. They were trying to convince me to consolidate my loans and switch providers. I told them we would fill out the paper work and see if it would be a better option for me. They sent me papers, I signed reviewed and sent back. After further research I decided this was not a good choice so I called the very next day to cancel. I had to try several time to contact them, finally reaching someone with NSP processing who told me all I needed to do was send an email with my wish to cancel my services. I did so that very minute. Assuming that it was taken care of two months go by . Then I find out my loans have been moved when I go to make my monthly payment. My current provider told me that they had no idea who was the now holder of said loans. I then had to go on a wild goose chase calling all consolidation companies to find the loans. They then told me I was notified about the changes through email and postal mail.
Which I then found out was not my address, email or phone they had attached to my account. The SLS managers set this up using their own address, phone and created a fake email using my info. So all of my loan information has been sent to a company that never notified me. They have received mail, emails and voicemails that should have been directed to me but took it upon themselves to keep this information and never notify me. Very unprofessional!Desired Settlement: I want to know how this happened when I did as I was told to cancel my service. How was it overlooked? Do you think it is ok to have someone's account information sent to addresses, emails and phones that do not belong to that person and never contact them regarding those messages?? I
Business
Response:
We apologize for any miscommunication, but the account was cancelled. We do not have access to the account and we are no longer liable in managing the student loans.
Scam!!!!
Review: I was promised that I would be paying off Student loan debt and they have been taking payments of 49.17 and deposit fee of 200.00 out of my account since May 25 2014 to find out they have not payed anything and my loan is 10,000 more now because of nonpayment and interest.Desired Settlement: I Need this stopped and my money refunded. They should be shut down!!

Response:
Our policy is to be very
thorough when we present our services to potential customers, we not only have
verification in our service agreement but we have a verbal verification of
services and we email a detailed Welcome Package that re-explains what those
services are. Our policy is that if a
customer is unhappy, we try to resolve their concerns and find resolution to
attain customer satisfaction. The Welcome Package contains the phone numbers
and contact information for client services. And, if money was collected for
services rendered and a customer is later wanting to cancel, we work with that
client to refund payment. We will contact client to address concerns
Review: Will not stop calling, for months and months, from fake numbers from all over the US. I've called them several times and have been hung up on when I ask to be removed from the call list. I have emailed them and asked to be removed from the call list and was ignored. All attempts to have my number wiped from their system has failed. I am on the FCC Do Not Call list, I have made numerous complaints to the FCC about this business, and l never signed up to receive information from this company. They also have on their site that they are Revdex.com accredited, but they are not. They are a huge scam and have awful, unethical marketing tactics.Desired Settlement: Stop contacting me, wipe me from your system, and if I ever get another call from this company, I will file a local police report for harassment.
Business
Response:
We have removed this number from our system. Please note that we are not the only business out there that may be calling you as your information is part of a national data base.
Review: I have asked the customer service reps at this business to take me off of their calling list because I was no longer interested in the product. The calls continue to pour in. Just today 9-18 I recieved 5 calls. This is ridiculous. I have asked to be removed and I have also requested the same in the automated menu.Desired Settlement: I want them to stop contacting me. I will continue to file complaints until this matter is resolved
Business
Response:
We apologize for any inconvenience.
Unfortunately we are not the only student loan company in the market
place that may be calling you, however I will make sure that you do not
receive any other communication from SLS Managers.
sincerely,
Managment
Review: In August of 2014 I was contacted by the company. They promised to assist in the consolidation of my student loans and reduce my payments. I began making payments in October and continued until current month. A week ago I received a collections call from the Federal Student Loan servicer authorized by the federal government for a payment of 600+ dollars. Upon investigation they stated there was no record of SLS making any payments to my account. They also stated that the only request for income based reduction had been denied due to lack of documentation. When I talked to SLS about this, they stated that they do not need any documentation from me that they just continue to send requests until it gets approved. In the mean time it is my responsibility to pay the federal loan and them. I have requested a cancelation of the contract and refund of all money according to their 100% guarantee stating if consolidation OR payment reduction is not met they will refund all money to the client. They are refusing to do so and also failing to return my calls.Desired Settlement: I would like an immediate refund and the contract torn up. In addition I would like for them to respond to my request for all authorizations to be revoked. I requested this with a customer service representative and was told there was a procedure to do so. When asked for the procedure I was told a manager would call me back. That was a week ago.
