They assured me this contract was cancelled now [redacted] is calling my home threating for continued payment or he will report to the credit bureau.. I have activated a fraud alert on my bank account and credit report.Desired Settlement: Letter stating this is done

Review: I received a call from [redacted], asking if I want to sign up for student loan forgiveness/consolidation. I was unable to provide my banking information, and he told me to contact him when I was home later that day. I attempted to email him, with no response. I have sent at least 2 other emails since this day; no respone. When I try to call the phone number listed in his email, it is constantly busy, and I am unable to get through. He asked for my SSN, birthdate, etc, and I am concerned that he is using it for identity theft. I don't know if this is a valid company or not. I continue to receive phone calls from different numbers across the country, and they all want to do the same service.Desired Settlement: I want to be ensured that he is not using my information for identity theft; that this is a valid company, and that I will not have any issues with fraud. If this is a valid company, he needs to finish my application for loan forgiveness/consolidation; however, now I am skeptical, and fear what will happen if he receives my banking information.

Review: I was contacted by SLS Managers about consolidating or lowering my student loan. I agree to do business with them. One of their stipulations was I needed to provide my checking account information so that my payments could be drafted. This all transpired in late October 2014. In November 2014 $300 was drafted from my account and on December 2015 $408 was drafted from my account. During this I received my normal statement from [redacted] about my past due payment. I contacted SLS and informed them of this and I was later contacted and told everything was taken care of. What they did was to access my [redacted] online account, apply for a deferment of my loan, but they also changed all my information, such as my address, phone, email address and password to my account. I was contacted by [redacted]'s Fraud Dept. on January 15, 2015 and informed they were unable to send the requested paperwork. The address was bogus and so was the phone number. I then had my account information locked out by [redacted] and SLS again tried to access the [redacted] account but were not able to.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my money of $708.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
This business clearly misrepresented themselves and their purpose. This company based on what has happened leads me to believe that they are fraudulent and pry on consumers looking to reduce a payment. I provided them with very sensitive information, such as my social security number and date of birth, plus my banking information. They insisted that this was the only way they could process my payments.
Review: I spoke to a [redacted] at SLS Mangers in July of 2014 and set up a loan consolidation for student loans. This company has been withdrawing 257.10 out of my bank account since then and I and just found out that SLS Managers has not paid one dime of that money towards my student loans. This company is clearly operating with unethical practices and is a fraud! They have stolen $1799.70 from me.Desired Settlement: I am filing a complaint with SLS Managers and will expect a full refund of the money that has been withdrawn from my account and my account to be closed with them. And that they never again try to access my student loan accounts or contact me for any reason. I expect a cash refund be made to me immediately for the full amount of $1799.70.

SLS Managers has not contacted me regarding my account. I spoke to a company representative on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 and was told someone would get back to me by Friday, February 6, 2015. I not received any calls or messages from anyone at the company. The representative assured me that all the money that was in my "account" would be refunded to me and that a manager or another representative would contact me. She said she didn't have the authority to approve a refund and closing the account. I told her I wanted my money refunded immediately and wanted my account closed and that I did not want them to act on my behalf any further. I told her that I would take care of making payments directly to my student loan companies from now on. I also told her I was not going to give them another bank account's information to refund me so I wanted to know how they intended to refund my money. Please let me know what step I should take next to recover my money. This company has lied to me and stolen my money. I intend to acquire legal assistance if needed.

Hello [redacted],
Review: SLS Managers contacted me via phone and told me they could help me not only get a lower payment and consolidate my student loans but also get me a lower interest rate which would result in my loans being paid off years sooner than my current loan. In an email from SLS it said not to talk to my current lender because it would slow the process but my current lender has been calling me, so finally, I talked with [redacted], my current lender, today and they said that no one has taken over my loans nor had they inquired about taking over my loans and no money has been paid on my student loans. I paid SLS money the day I talked to them and they have taken money out of my account every month since. They have not given me any services or any promised updates AT ALL and I want my money back and contract terminated!Desired Settlement: I want my money back and the contract terminated immediately from SLS Managers.

Review: I was happy when Student Loan Servicing Managers contacted me because I was under the impression that I didn't qualify for loan consolidation because of the year I started my loan process. Even though I would have been on loan deferment until March of 2015 I decided to get a jump start on my loan in July 2014. I am a state employee and qualify for the government forgiveness plan (which basically means that I have to pay 10 years as agreed and they forgive the remaining balance). In August I contacted the dept of education because I was trying to get into my FAFSA portal to find out how much was my final balance., so after talking to the representative I found out that SLS had taken over my account and changed contact info and passwords, this is why I couldn't access my information. I also found out that I may not have qualified for the consolidation through dept of education but because I did qualify for the Government forgiveness plan I would have qualified for the consolidation as well.
So I decided to go ahead and trust in SLS anyhow despite all the red flags but last month I noticed that I more problems with people hacking into my personal information, besides that this month payment didnt go through my account. It is supposed to go in on the 15th of each month and clears on the 16th but this time it didn't clear at all. I talked to the bank which said it wasnt in the pending checks and I tried calling SLS but no luck. Here's the thing, I had called almost every month before following up and maiking sure that the payment went through each time I was able to speak to a representative, her name is [redacted]. When the payment didnt go through they stopped communicating with me all together. I have left an abundent amount of messages and no return call, email, or correspondence of any kind.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to explain why the last payment didnt go through and because the payments have fallen off track at this point I would like to cancel my loan process with SLS, have them refund the payments that have been made so far, and for them to release access to my loan.

A representative contacted me after the complaint was made and apologized for not contacting me or following up with me about decisions/actions taken on my loan. I requested that my consolidated loan program be cancelled and they return the monies that I have paid so far. The representative informed me that my loan had been placed on hold until March of 2015 because they understood that I was still in school and that my loan with them was still in approval process and that it could not be cancelled. I asked her if I at a later date was unsatisfied with their service could I cancel then and she said yes. I requested that if it be that I have to keep my loan with them, that they upgrade their communication process because it made them out to appear as a shady company. She agreed with me and sent me a email with her contact information. I agreed to try again with them and take action later if it be the same scenario.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Review: I signed up with SLSmanagers and then after the fact realized I could not pay online or extra payments as they are taking directly from my account monthly and charging a 10 dollar montly fee for this and 492 dollar automatic renewal which did not auto renew successfully. I stayed with them for a year and in Nov 2014 I noticed the payment did not come out of my account to them, got with them and they was sending a new agreement to docusign and would then get it corrected, they did not follow up quick enough for this and had to call them back again to get it sent to me. I signed via the docusign and got a reply completed via docusign. Thois was all done on same day they finally sent to me and was after the Dec due date for them to get my payment so now 2 months behind. Jan 10th I checked and still no payment taken out. I tried calling the only number I know to get to them and emailing their site at [email protected] yesterday, no reply or callback as of yet. The number I use to get to them is having issues and I also explained that in the email, number is [redacted] and when called goes straight to I'm sorry that is not a valid ext, when I try an ext I know of ext 6569 it does not work either. Tried zero out also and does not work. I fear this wil lreflect on my credit rating and cannot get the company to correct the issue and would like to opt out of this contract that did not specify things like I couldnt pay online, or pay extra with addtl fees. Please HelpDesired Settlement: Be removed from this contract, but not sure how to then get this under another lender that I trust and can make extra payments anytime via internet. I have no issues paying monthly and extra each month as my goal is to pay off in 5 years.

Miss [redacted],
We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you. I have done a search in our system for your number and I am not finding any results of us calling you. Are there any other numbers that we may have called? I am adding your number to our internal DNC list to prevent any calls in the future. Total Scam! They tell you they are helping to consolidate AND pay off your student loans when in fact they consolidate and then "manage" your account, meaning they charge you fees and monthly to do nothing with your account as it gains interest and you think its going towards a pay off plan. Total lies. They will even go over the contract with you and twist the words to fit what you want it to say and explain sentences so it means something else. SO dishonest! There is no forgiveness plan.
Review: I entered into a contract with Student Loan Service Managers at the end of June 2014. At that time I was told that my student loan payment (SLP) would be reduced from $408.36 to $249.00. SLSM informed me that they would contact my present loan servicer, Aspire Resources and pay off my current student loan balance and my debt would be transferred to them. As of July 21, 2014 I have not received any paper work nor has Aspire Resources received a payment, nor have they have not been contacted by SLSM. However the payment of $408.36 was deducted from my account. Aspire Resources informed me that this is not a legitimate loan servicers for the Department of Education. I contacted The Department of Education and was informed that SLSM is not a servicer for the government and they are perpetrating a fraud.Desired Settlement: I would like for this complaint to be noted so that other consumers would not have to go through this same ordeal. It would be ideal if this company was closed down. I would appreciated a refund of my payment.

Review: This company has scammed us. They are taking money out of my bank account which is supposed to be going towards my daughters college loans. They will not give me any answers and will not return my phone calls. They told us my daughter did not make enough money so she did not have to pay right now. I am paying $75 a month which is supposed to be going to her college loans. The legitimate company contacted me and told me I was delinquent on my payments. I never received any correspondence from the legitimate loan company because SLS managers changed my address and phone number to there location. I paid $200 up front for them to start this process. I have paid $75 a month since September of 2014.Desired Settlement: To be refunded the money we have paid them.

I never received a welcome package from SLS managers. They only thing I have are documents that were supposed to be legitimate for a student loan forgiveness program. Which turns out to be a fraud. They are supposed to be paying my daughters student college loans. This has been going on since August of 2014 it should not take up until last Friday for them to consolidate my loans. A representative from SLS Mangers called me last Friday and was yelling at me because my bank had revoked payment from them. I had to close out my bank account so they could NO longer continue to steal from me. They continue to create a user ID with [redacted] (the company that has my loans) and they change my address to a location in California and also my phone number. I have to call [redacted] every time I get an email alerting me a new user ID has been created. Regards,[redacted]

Review: Student Loan Services Management promised to actively take a monthly amount from me and pay that amount to my student loans, with the agreement of a ten years consolidation and loan forgiveness scam. They took the 109.00 application/process fee, the a monthly $129.00 to put toward my loans. They took control and opt-me-out of accessing Fedloan financing services(which is a free federal service) loans. I found out the monies was not toward the loans, but a scam for servicing only. They took my income information without validating my income. SLS Managers did not give me a new access code to my Federal Fedloans account , did not have an agent supply me where the service fees went, and now they will not answer their phones. I called Fedloans and found out that SLS Managers is a third party servicing company that does not pay student loans, only monitors them. I am still in school and also learned that it is a federal offense for SLS Mangers to access Fedloan accounts. How can I pay back loans and pay this fraudulent service agency without the fees growing higher and higher with no principle actually being paid.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and acknowledge apology from SLS Mangers. Students are already overwhelmed with student loan debit. This company prey's on the weak and vulnerable. Their advertising and office needs to be shut down

Review: This was the email I sent to SLS managers:
This email is my notification that I have cancelled the monthly ACH payment of $45.16 which was being withdrawn from my checking account. I have done this because SLS Managers has not made any payments on my Federal Student Loans. When I signed up with SLS Managers in April 2014, I was told that SLS would be processing monthly payments on my student loans and that did not happen. What did happen, was SLS Managers kept all of my money and changed all of my login and contact information on my nelnet account so nelnet would not be able to reach me when payments were not being made. I received a letter from nelnet dated November 13, 2014 telling me that my account was over 90 days past due and nothing had been paid since April 2014. When I contacted SLS Mangers on November 25th, I was told that they had put my account into forbearance which is another lie. When I contacted nelnet on December 15th they told me the forbearance was not applied for until November 26th, the day after I contacted SLS Mangers. The contract that I signed with SLS Managers is null and void based on the all of these fraudulent and deceitful activities with SLS Managers. Another thing is the SLS Managers website says they are accredited by the Revdex.com (see below) and when you look SLS up on the Revdex.com website it is an “F” rated company with 43 complaints filed against SLS managers (see attached).Desired Settlement: It is unbelievable that SLS Managers can take advantage of young adults in this way. I am requesting that SLS mangers return the start up fee of $300.00 that my father paid and the $270.96 that was taken from my checking account ($45.16 X 6 months). The total reimbursement is $570.96.

Review: On June 19, 2014 I spoke with an Sls manager by the name of [redacted]. She went through a process of telling me how she could reduce my monthly student loan pmt. well I finally went thru all the necessary steps she asked for and was told in about 4-5 weeks they would contact my lender get everything straight and I would be paying 379.84 a month as opposed to 465. Well that sounded perfect. So I did the docu sign and was feeling relieved that my debt was not only lowered but ten yrs would b the max time I would pay this. Well here it is August 12, 2014 and my current lender is phoning me for my July and August pmt. well I called Sls and she assured me that I was in good standing and didn't have a thing to worry about. If that's true y is my lender bugging me about pmt on my loans that I think r being taken care of. I paid the 350 down and They took 379.84 in July and the August pmt is set to come out but no one has contacted my lender nor have I received this welcome package I suppose to have received. I just feel uneasy about this whole situation and want out. No one has verified any income or asked me for proof of anything. I was desperate and thought I was doing the right thing but this seems like a scam and I want out. If rather deal with my current lender than deal with what seems to be a scamDesired Settlement: I would just like to cancel services or whatever it is with this company and refund my money so I can get my pmt back on track with my lender and remove me from calling list and they should not advertise or tell consumers they are going to reduce debt but at the same time rip them off because I felt as though if you were here to help me why charge fees and so forth if I can't afford what I'm paying now which is the reason I contacted you in the first place.

We contacted Ms. [redacted] on 8/13/14 and left
her a message to contact us back so we may address her concerns in regards to
her account. We did not hear back from Ms. [redacted] and we then made another
attempt to contact her on 8/15/14 by phone and we also followed up with an email.
Ms. [redacted] did contact us back on Monday 8/18/14 at which point we
addressed her concerns and provided her with status on her account. We informed Ms. [redacted] that her account was in good standing, but she refused to continue on with the process of her account and for us to further assist her with the consolidation of her loans. We could not come to an agreement on continuing doing our work on her account and in order to settle her account we submitted a request of issuing a refund of what she is entitled to at this time. A confirmation email was sent to her as well.
Review: On 12/30/2014 I was contacted by [redacted] a representative from Student Loan Services about consolidating my student loans. After agreeing to use their services I was concerned about the validity of my contract. I called the company on 1/30/2015 and spoke to [redacted] about my concerns. [redacted] quoted my new loan payment as $102.82, however he also told me that the consolidation process would take up to 2-3 months. The company was going to start taking my $102.82 payments on 2/15/2015 even though the loan consolidation would not be complete. When I called the company and spoke with [redacted] I was told that the money I'll be paying before my consolidation is complete will be held in a special bank "trust account". I asked [redacted] to tell me where in the contract that I signed that it mentions my money going into a "trust account". He couldn't give me a straight answer. Then he told me that because "he is telling me" it is true that my money will be safe. I told him that his word isn't good enough for me and I want my contract re-written with a clause saying that my money will be held in an account until my consolidation is complete. He told me that was impossible and I said that I wanted to speak to a manager because there's no way of knowing that my money isn't being spent by this company instead of being used for my loan payments. I also asked why there wasn't a site for me to see this so-called "trust account" and he told me "IT is still working on it." A manager was suppose to contact me in 48 hrs and I did not hear from one so I called again today 2/2/2015 to request to speak to a manager and no one called me back. The fact that this "trust account" for my payments is not mentioned in my contract and I have no way of seeing said account online leads me to believe that my contract is void due to this clause being left out. I no longer want Student Loan Services to handle my loan consolidation. And I would also like a full refund of the $240.48 processing fee.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the $240.48 processing fee and for my contract with Student Loan Services to be terminated so that they can no longer contact the Department of Education on my behalf about consolidation and loan forgiveness.

I'm so pleased with the help and customer service I have received. SLS Managers are professional, polite, understanding, & most of all helpful. They helped me get out of default with my student loans and they will be able to put me into a program that will help me pay off my student loans, based on my what I'm able to afford. Review: Back in November, after looking into Student Debt Consolidation, I received a call from [redacted] explaining to me that all of my interest charges would be forgiven. After paying an initial fee of $209.10 and (3) subsequent payments of $43.33 they have not paid off the original amount with Navient. They continue to tell me that it takes 3-9 months to process the service. I have tried calling several times to get in contact with [redacted] but continue to get Eric. I have called many times in regards to when the payoff date is going to be executed with Navient. They continue to tell me my loan is in forbearance and please be patient. Client spoke with our client services department on 3/11/15 and he received an update and his concerns were addressed
Review: SLS Managers called me to help consolidate my student loans so we set up everything over the phone. I never received any statements where a payment was made toward my student loans. From April until November they took $93 automatically out of my bank account that was supposed to be applied to my student loans. Somehow SLS Managers tranferred my information over to another party called National Secure Processing. I tried calling SLS Managers and was told I needed to contact NSProcessing and over those first few months, they never made a payment until November of $20. They kept telling me the "approval" was still in review, after I had already set up everything back in April. It shouldn't take several months for an "approval" when it was initially approved at the time of sign up. After repeatedly asking how can I review my account, they send me a login and password to Nelnet. I never choose my password. Once I logged in with the information they gave me, is when I noticed there was a $20 payment and the status was in Forbearance. I never requested a Forbearance. I have since put a stop pay on my bank account. I have emails from a representative showing conversations with myself and a "representative" from NSProcessing. They have taken over $700 from me that is not showing up as payment made to my student loans.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back so I can make payments directly to my student loans without having to go through all these different third parties that seem to be scammers.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The company did not provide any details of payments being made to the student loan servicing company (Nelnet) except for one payment in November. The initial setup was April 2014. They never once showed me a statement of how my payments were broken down each month. $93.85 was taken out of my bank account every month but then somehow my payment was decreased to $70 some dollars when I never authorized a change in monthly payment. Out of $744 being deducted out of my bank account, only $20 was sent to Nelnet Servicing but then InfoProcessing applied a forbearance to my account for no reason after making payment every month. This issue has not been resolved and I would like someone else to look into it and recover the other payments since Nelnet is not showing any payments being accounted for except in November.

Ms. [redacted] was explained the information she is requesting in detail and as stated previously it is also explained on her written agreement. Her account with our company has been closed as previously requested and she was informed of this also when she made contact with us.
Review: I have received numerous telephone calls from this business. It is my personal policy to ignore phone calls from people who are not listed in my contact list.
Usually I ignore the phone calls and delete the number because I pay, $1.99 cents to make a call, or answer a call. During those times I have unlimited minutes and can make as many phone calls on that day as I want to.
I have received more calls from this phone number-[redacted]). On Sept., 11, I received a phone call at 4:21pm. On Sept 12., I received a phone call at 9:01 am and at 10:14. These calls show up as missed calls because I do not answer the phone while I am working. At 11:58 am on Sept., 12-I received a call in which I answered the phone and they hung up. This was 12 minutes after I had called and spent 12 minutes taking to someone from their company. On Sept., 12 at 11:46am I called this number- [redacted] to find out who they are, why they are calling me and to ask them to please stop calling.
I do not have a complete run-down of all of the times that they have called me. I am sure that the information can be obtained through my cell phone carrier. I delete the calls that I do not know who, or why they are calling.
I was informed by the person that I was talking to that they do not charge a fee for their service and/or processing an application. She also informed me that I should check them out on the Revdex.com. So I did, I then returned a a call to the above number and talked with someone else, and we both looked at the most recent complaint together. I then asked, why would anyone want to do business with someone after they have been lied to. This company is posting a form which asks for personally identifiable information, Name, SS# birth date. Student account information, right down to the private pin assigned by the Department of Education. I have received numerous phone calls for the last several months from this company. Anywhere from 2 to 3 calls per, 4 to 5 times per week. STOP!!Desired Settlement: I really just want them to stop trying to victimize me with their fraudulent service. The US Department of Education offers the same service for free, or-for the cost of the student loan. People just have to talk to them and work with them. STOP Calling ME. They have already been asked to stop calling on three other occasions within the last 6 months. They said they would put me on their do not call list, on those same three occasions.
I have received several phone calls since then. I am contacting the Federal Trade Commission again because I think they are affiliated with the original people who called me the first time. Stop calling, stop harassing, stop bullying and by all means stop terrorizing people who are not able to earn enough money to pay back their student loans! Stay out of my student account information, they say can access it right now on the phone. I would be more that happy to transfer the debt out of my name into theirs so they can pay for it and I not owe anything.

We apologize for any inconvenience.
Unfortunately we are not the only student loan company in the market
place that may be calling you, however I will make sure that you do not
receive any other communication from SLS Managers.
I would advise that anyone who's thinking about doing business with SLS Managers or NSProcessessing stay far away! I entered into contract with them, was fed completely false information about how my loans would be managed directly by the department of education, that the balance would come off of my credit report, and that my payment would go down to only $119/mo. My payment was quoted that low only because they reported a false income to the consolidation loan company. When I started asking my original loan officer questions because I realized that it was not, in fact, what had been described to me by HIM, I got the run around from every person I spoke with including the apparent owners [redacted] and [redacted]. I was never able to get a hold of my original loan officer again either. Trying to get a straight answer from anyone at this company is like pulling teeth! I finally had to call the loan company myself and get the information I needed, which is when I was told how much my payment would be based on my true income and it wasn't anywhere near what I had been quoted. Do your research before agreeing to sign anything with these people. They have 12 Revdex.com complaints in just under 3 months that they have been "accredited," along with many other complaints on various websites. I was finally able to get out of my contract and get a partial refund of the servicing fee that they charge when I threatened to call the Attorney General, make a Revdex.com complaint, and see legal counsel. STAY AWAY!
