The customers policy has lapsedThis customer did not make any payments since August 1,and since they are past due on installments their account has officially lapsedOnce the customer is behind on payments we can no longer assist this customer with any claims services

The denials were in line with the terms of the policyThe refund policy is also clear and is on the websiteThere are no more funds due at this time

The customer has been approved for a reimbursement towards their claimAs soon as we receive the signed reimbursement we will have a check processed and mailed out to the customer

The cusotmer has been issued a refund back to their credit card as of 1/6/per the Terms of Agreement

The customer has been informed on numerous occasions that their claim is not coveredWhen the customer initially filed their claim in February they were originally informed that the claim was deniedAs a courtesy a contractor was dispatched for that claimHowever, the same issue happened again and since this issue is not covered under our contract the customers second claim for their refrigerator has been deniedWe will not be dispatching a technician for this claim as it is not coveredThe original claim was not covered either and we dispatched at that time a one time courtesy

On 10/6/2014, customer did place a claim for the pool pumpand we secures A-Pool Services Repair, they assessed that the pool pumpsmotor shorted, we did review the repairs completely as the customer had notmoved into the home yet.Select Home Warranty did advise customer that we would notbe able to move forward with the claim as there was rust and corrosion on theunit We did advise we would be more thanhappy to review claim furtherCustomer has requested a refund of his policy on 10/16/2014and we are currently processing his requestSelect Home Warranty will refund customeraccording to the Terms of Agreement

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was told that select home warranty would supply a technician to fix my AC and all I would have to pay is a service charge They sent me the name of a technician and when I contacted him he said he doesn't work on condos where the AC is on the roof He said he as told the select warranty that many times and they still keep sending people to him I notified select home warranty that he didn't work on condos with the unit on the roof and they said they would give me the name of another technician Then I received an email from them telling me to find my own Yesterday I received an email from them stating " Policy Holder: [redacted] Policy # [redacted] Dear [redacted] ,Thank you for submitting your claim.We have processed your claim for policy # [redacted] .After a Review of the information concerning the specific issue with your HVAC system, the issue you are experiencing is maintenance relatedThe unit does need to have regularly scheduled maintenancei.ecleaning of coils, cleaning of the unit, freon pressures and check of all electrical connections etcMaintenance related issues are not covered by your policy.The next step would be to have your HVAC cleaned by the technician sent to you by Select Home Warranty.Should you have any questions you may reply to this email.Thank you,Claims DepartmentSelect Home Warranty HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO USE THE TECHNICIAN SENT TO ME BY THEM WHEN THEY NEVER SENT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
