received poor customer service on several occasions or that their contracts are written in such a manner as to provide loopholes to deny the coverage stated on its website. I think people need to be aware of how this company operates before signing a contract with them.  I stand by my statement that I will never recommend SHW to anyone seeking to purchase a home warranty plan.  Because of my bad experience with SHW, I'm not sure I will ever purchase another home warranty plan -- even from another company.  Again, the apology is accepted, but SHW needs to provide better service.  They can start with removing the loopholes in their contract.  Ex.:  Hot Water Heater covered, but "leaks" are not.  If one experiences a problem with a hot water heater, there will most likely be some type of leak because the "water" heater is filled with WATER.
