The cusotmer purchased the policy on 07/28/for months, the customer has placed a claim during the courtesy month we offered, the cusotmer is not due any refund as they have used their time that was purchased and expired on 07/28/
In an attempt to resolve my previous complaint, I received a call from the owner of the company apologizing for the horrible serviceHowever after paying a total of $for the policy he was standing by his calculations to only return a fee of $The owner wanted to return my cancellation fee of $if I remove the negative comment from this website, which is a insult to meI paid $for the policy, used the warranty once because the customer services was horribleAlso, the one vendor that came out to repair my refrigerator (that's broken again) says he was dropping select home warranty because they don't pay their vendors on timeThere you have it peoplePLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY.I want a least $returned before I can say this company resolved ALL of my concernsI referred people to this companySelect Home Warranty made money from my referrals
A technician was out to the customers home and per the diagnosis received the customers claim has been approved for repairsNo additional funds due at this time
Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: After sitting days on the issue, they are telling me that they cannot fix the issue because repair cost is high and I have to get the issue fixed on my own and once I get the issue fixed then they can reimburse me only 125/- remaining I have to bearI have bough home warranty months back and they charged all the amount in advance, in addition to that they charged me $120/- for technician visit for two complaintsWe buy home warranty in case if there is issue they can fix it on priority and we don't have to look for local techniciansIf I have to get it repaired on my own then why should I buy home warranty, for what they are charging monthly amount + visit charges from customerThis is malpractice and cheating with customerI reserve my right to follow legal course against the Select Home Warranty because it really caused me stress Regards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because: The company did not answer my original complaintI have another $reimbursement for my hot water heater that has yet to be received even though the form was notarized and signed over a month agoI'm asking that our contact with Select [redacted] Warranty be broken and our full amount be refunded so that we may go back to our old [redacted] warranty company that paid for repairs as needed
The customer was not able to provide us with three years maintenance records and therefore is only approved for the $allowance on their claimIf the customer can provide us with three years maintenance records we can review for an additional allowance on their claim
Select Home Warranty has advised the customer the as per the Terms of Agreement our policy does not cover leaks.See Below: Water HeaterThis Agreement covers all modules, components and parts of the water heater necessary to the functionality of the water heater.This Agreement does NOT cover solar or tankless water heating systems or the components thereofThis Agreement does NOT cover the following list of modules, components and parts relating to the water heating system:(i) flues; (ii) drain piping; (iii) pressure reducing valve; (iv) leaks(v)pumps

The customer filed two claims with usThe first claim for their A/C was already closed out in They received a reimbursement in the amount of $check #***.With respects to the customers plumbing claimThey were approved for $towards their claim which they had signed a reimbursement agreement forThe customer just signed their reimbursement form on 10/27/a month after it was originally sent to themPlease see enclosed signed agreementTheir reimbursement check is currently being processedNo additional funds due at this time
The customer is not eligible for a full refund as refunds are issued within the first days of purchaseThe customer purchased their warranty in February and is only eligible for a pro-rated refund per section If the customer wishes to proceed with cancelling their contract please confirm so that we can process their request accordingly
The customer has been issued a full refund to their original form of paymentThey should be able to view the refund on their credit card statement within the next few business days
We did speak with the customer and helped them with a reimbursement for the claim
The customer was sent check # [redacted] - on 09/30/and cashed the check on 10/13/2015.The customer then placed Dispute Case [redacted] for 525.00,The customer has received all refunds due from Select Home Warranty
