Inaccurately reporting credit information and pressing consumer to pay debts they do not owe The charges for the services, which had not been completed, were refunded via Penguin Air's merchant bank After the service had not been performed, I contacted my credit card company to file a dispute Penguin Air had ample time to reply to the dispute but instead accepted the dispute and refunded the monies that were paid A few years later I was contacted by a collection agency and then an attorney to collect this debt I have provided written documentation to both the debt collector and the attorney that the debt is not valid, it was satisfied via Penguin Air Merchant Bank and to stop harassing me This past weekend they sent yet another process server to my home I also have, in writing, documentation from Will, the owner of the company, stating there is no debt owed, it should not have been sent to collections, and he would have it removed This obviously did not happen as they

Service Tech Randy O*** worked on my AC It would not go down below degrees all night Randy was very professional & personable, he was able to figure out the issue in minutes and fix the problem Bad capacitor and low on Freon He went over & above to seal some spots on the air handler where cold air was escaping I would use him again!

We previously had a good experience with a tech from Penguin Air two years agoSo when our AC started to experience problems this summer we called Penguin Air (Bad Mistake)The first service guy (Ryan ***) comes out and installs a new compressor ($400) and signs us up for the service planAfter a month of the same problem persisting the second guy comes (Matthew ***) comes out and adds refrigerant ($600) and mentions a couple of times that we should probably replace our year-old unitThe next day we call back because the same problem from a month ago continues to persist so the third guy comes out (Sky ***) and tells me I should replace the unit without checking anythingHe didn't go up into the attic or hook up any of his gearhe just made an "educated opinion" that our unit is too small and needs to be replacedAnd gave me a quote for a new unitSo we called their competitor "Parker and Sons" and they came out and fixed the problem within minutes ($200)Turns out the condensation line was clogged and needed to be cleaned so water didn't back up in the pan and trip the systemPenguin Air is a typical AZ Air conditioning company that tricks people into spending money on unnecessary work they don't needThey come out and sow confusion so you panic and pay themThe worst part is the front like they are a Christian company with American Flags flying in all of their picturesAs a Veteran of three combat tours, I would appreciate if they didn't use the American flag as marketing schemeI will report my experience to the better business burial and google reviews

Quick response time and team (Joey and Ryan) worked diligently to diagnose a rather complicated issueTurned out to be an unusual furnace part failureTook a few days to obtain replacement part, but promptly installed and completed project as soon as part was receivedThey communicated status throughout and sought technical help when neededVery polite and friendly individuals

I found Nathan W*** to be professional and knowledgeableHe explained the benefit of adding the equipment toextending the life of the A/C.He presented the facts and in no manner was he pushy

Anthony H*** (Tony) was my my service technician and he was a pleasure to work with He called about minutes prior to showing up, he wore covers on his shows when walking on the carpet, he took videos in the attic to show our insulation levels, and he was very professionalHe gave me great information regarding some parts that needed to replaced soon, but he didn't try to "hard sell" me like some other companies do When it comes time to get work done I will be sure to call them back
