Purchased maintenance plan for year at cost of billed monthly at a month for ac unit
Asked company to perform annual maintenance then a follow up visit to clean the coil and blower fan
Tech arrived and after cleaning I asked if I could simply extend the maintenance plan another years to be billed monthlyTech told me they have to charge the full $upfront for an extension of the maintenance plan for years or $for the cleaningIf the tech informed me before performing the work I would not have opted to get the work doneFelt like I had no choice but to pay the full amount upfront since the work was already completed and the fact that I already had a maintenance plan its reasonable to extend our contract
Have spoken to their Manager Tonya, and did not come to any resolutionDon't understand what's so hard about changing the billing to monthly and refunding the upfront charge due to it being paid by credit card

We cannot say enough about the service we received from Penguin Air Our consultant, John V., listened to our a/c issues and came up with a game plan that would fix the problems He gave us time to review his proposal and make our decision Rafael Gand Matthew L., our service team went above and beyond installing the new a/c unit, duct work, etc Their work ethic is unbelievable We highly recommend Penguin Air and specifically these gentleman
Penguin Air was extremely professional and was able to resolve a broken AC system when no one else was available due to excessive heatThey were polite, fast, and resolved my problem as quickly as possible
on may 7th my air conditioning stopped working.I called penguin air &plumbing to get a technician to fix the issue.in about minutes a young man named *** *** showed up at my door.he then proceeded to check the unit on the roof (minutes at the most)came back telling me that parts needed to be exchanged a fan run capacitor and a clean indoor evaporator coil(cost for both about dollars,cost from him 250).in less than minutes he was done, he assured me that everything was running great and suggested a new unit in the future.I paid to him a whopping dollars for less than a minutes job.within few hours the unit stopped working again,I then contacted S*** one more time and when I complained about the poor job and ask for a refund he stated that something else was causing the problem and he wasn't responsible for the that he charged me few hours before.I then called emergency air and when the two technician showed up they told me that what was done was a t
What I thought was great service and being treated kindly turned out to be an ugly horrible feeling in my stomach I purchased through Groupon for an a/c tuand the technician who came out seemed very kind and knowledgeable I was told that my condenser fan motor was going out, my capacitor was going out, and that I didn't have a hard start, which I guess is necessary As a single mom with my children and granddaughter living with me, I could not afford to go without an air conditioner My granddaughter has seizures due to not being able to handle temperature differences, so extreme hot or extreme cold can cause a seizure Anyway, I trusted this manI even gave him a good review to his employer I told him I have lost my job too I paid $for parts and labor to replace those pieces, and yet I received my tupaperwork after I agreed to the work and was told they were all good A condenser unit for my Carrier unit, at high cost, is $I was charged $cents The blower run capacitor, at high cost, is $and I paid $and a compressor saver hard start, at high cost, is $and I was charged $ I get there is labor in there, but really, what should have been a $charge and they do a 200% markup? I am so sick to my stomachMy dad was right and I should have gone to him firstBut I thought the days of taking advantage of women were overI guess notAnd what makes this worse is I have a home warranty and when I told Jesus that, I was told it would not be covered because the unit has not been properly maintenance And after speaking with my dad and him wanting me to go to the Attorney General, I called them, and they said yes, if they had gone out, I would have paid my deductible and they would have replaced the partsI need this bad experience just like I need another hole in my headI am so disappointed

I had Penguin Air and Plumbing out to my home for a tune up on my two units in April Noel was my technicianHe explained in detail what he had found while doing the tune up and explained in detailed what needed to be done He was able to fix it and tune it up and a very reasonable priceNoel was very professional and courteous I would definintly rate this company stars I will be using them in the future for my routine tune ups thank you

Needed service on Heat Pump (no compressor turning on.) Came out same day and tech Chad determined it needed a small circuit board Tech Ryan H came out with board to determine that a switching valve was at fault and bypassed it as to allow use of the unit Base upon availabilty of the part Ryan returned to complete the job quicky keeping me informed along the way as to what was happening Tech Ryan must enjoy what he is doing as he whistled while he worked making you feel confident that all was going well
