I am reporting penguin to the Revdex.com for horrible practices and to Rip off report and many others to be sure that what happened to us doesn't happen to other people
We rent our home and requested our landlord use penguin because family has you in the pastWe have an a/c problem and plumbing problem with pressure to the master bath shower
In regards to the a/c, they found a small leak in coolant and replace the disconnect box box it was over workedThe cost for these repairs and less than minutes of work was astronomicalWorse, instead of telling my landlord the priority should be replacing the a/c, he went to fix these issues than wrote on the bill after that it needs immediate replacementThen we were charged $for the work and given an estimate to replace the unit for $7800, "after a discount"We can get all these things for near half the costOf your discounted price
The project manager who came out said that may be a "training issue" with the tech and the order in which he billed us
With the plumbing issue, the tech came out and said the valve stem needed replacingHe said he would be right back to get the stem and it would cost $I laughed and said he has to "ok it with the landlord."He definitely did notI also remember on my recorded call, that the rep said it would not be seperate from the cost of the a/c repair He replaced it in these than minAnd billed $for a part that cost less than $
The a/c wasn't even a temporary fixIn fact we beought in a second contractor and you made it worse and now forcing us to replace th unitIt was never sealed correctly and the plumbing still has low pressure and doesn't work

Penguin Air and Plumbing installed a new Heat Pump for me two years ago The unit has a year parts & labor warranty In addition, I also have a year maintenance agreement which covers my Spring & Fall System checkups as well as any plumbing issues that may come upTheir service technicians are always on time, professional and very knowledgeable If an issue arises, they are quick to respond - even after business hours (no extra charge)When they set an arrival time frame, they are sure to arrive within it; and, they’ll give you a call when they’re on the way I made the right decision when I chose Penguin Air They won’t dissapoint!

When the install of my AC/Furnace was installed, there was to be a 18"duct work installedIt was not instlalled!
MrH*** does not return calls and doesn't return the cost of the 18" diameter duct that was not installed
There is duct to be used, but I can not get someone here to take of this
I believe that there is a day clause, if not satisfied it can be removed and everything to be put back the way it was
I will agree to the year extended labor on compressor and refund of monies paid for 18" duct not installed, also any thing else to be finished on installationA

Fernando was very friendly, professional & accomodating during the installation process of the new HVAC system He answered questions and offered advice & instructions on the operational aspects of the new HVAC system He was thorough in the installation, clean up & review of the system & took extra time in explaining the operational functions of the system

Best experience I've ever had with a HVAC company The gentleman who came out to my home was Anthony Hawil Exceptional young man Extremely knowledgeable and very kind He assisted me in changing out my smoke alarm batteries while he was over He also changed out a few light bulbs for me too!! I will be telling ALL of my friends and family members about Penguin Air & Plumbing, especially about Anthony :)

Nathan White came to my house last night to look at my AC unit and see if it needs the repairs suggested by a competitor He clearly answered my questions and provided competitive pricing The electronic quote he was able to email me after our interaction was clean, simple, and easy to read I will definitely recommend Nathan and Penguin for AC work

We originally contacted Penguin Air because our house was not cooling when it was over outsideThey did some repairs, added Freon, and replaced a part and we paid $for that serviceThe next day the house still wouldn't cool below when it was over outside and was running constantlyThe tech came back and said we most likely have a Freon leak, but we have a unit that is over years and we should consider a new unit because it will get costly to keep repairing the current unitHe told us the new unit would be WAY more efficient and be able to cool our house MUCH easier and we would see a savings in our electric billWe paid them another $to install a brand new unitIt still did not cool the houseA supervisor came out and told us, they installed the WRONG SIZE unitThey gave us a ton when it should have been a ton unit for our square foot houseThey installed the new unit and our house still did not cool when it was over We have had a tech t

I recently had Matthew *** come to my residence and do a service call Not only was Matthew very professional he walked in with a smile on his face and went above and beyond my service call I am glad I called a penguin air and had the honor to have Matt do my service call he was very clean very positive and it was funny we need more people like Matthew in the workforce a positive person that shining so bright in my house now I can live comfortable am I cool nice house all things to Matthew he deserve a raise and promotion and more thank you penguin air and thank you Matthew
