Great experience! Anthony H [redacted] (Tony) was my my service technician and he was a pleasure to work with He called about minutes prior to showing up, he wore covers on his shows when walking on the carpet, he took videos in the attic to show our insulation levels, and he was very professionalHe gave me great information regarding some parts that needed to replaced soon, but he didn't try to "hard sell" me like some other companies do When it comes time to get work done I will be sure to call them back

I have used Penguin Air & Heating & Plumbing for a few years They kept my old A/C unit working until I needed a new one (was out on emergency basis) Then when my water heater blew up they were out immediately on a late Friday afternoon (Armando R [redacted] ) and replaced it Penguin Air & Plumbing technicians always leave the area clean and take their trash and old units with them We never have to worry about discarding anything Their work is superb!! We had Armando R [redacted] back out today, to replace a toilet that needed upgraded

Embed review Write an update Edit review star rating 9/28/I sure wish that I had read these reviews before I made the mistake of calling Penguin AirI have a two year old A/C unitThe condenser outside started making racket intermittently a couple of weeks agoWhen the technician came to the house naturally it wasn't making the noiseHe started checking the air handler inside and I told him that the A/C unit was working and giving me cold air, but I was concerned that the condenser would soon breakHe said that he wanted to do a "thorough inspection"So I let him do his thinghe finally did go outside for a short timeHe then gives me a diagnosis that this filter is dirty, and that capacitor is too small, ect,ectHe gives me an estimate of $and since I was leaving town the next day, I told him to go ahead as I didn't want to chance the A/C going out while I was gone since I have petsWhen I got back from my trip I turn down the A/C and hear the same noise from the condenserThis time I recorded the noiseWhen I called back, the same technician calls me and tells me that he can come out but the manufacturer wont replace the condenser "until it stops working" and that I would just have to live with the noiseIts so bad that the neighbors are complainingLong story short, I paid $for some "repairs" that weren't really needed since the A/C was blowing cold air before I called, and its in the same condition that it was before they came outDONT USE PENGUIN AIR

Installation of a new rooftop air conditioner went very well the install techs (Rafael Gand Matthew L.) were proficient at doing their jobsThe old unit was removed, the site was prepared and the new unit installedAll of my questions were answered completely and I would highly recommend this company

We switched to Penguin Air and Plumbing about mid 2016, from [redacted] *** They did there usual checks, as well as install of a new water heaterThe staff is greatly knowledgeable and always friendly Anyone needing to find a new A/C & plumbing needs to call Penguin Air, they are a great customer service company!

On Sunday, June we found that our upstairs second story AC Unit was not blowing cold air With the temperature the next day forecast in the High 100'swe contacted Penguin Air and Cooling to come take a look at our system The next day a technician (Ralph [redacted] ) came out and looked it over He informed us that we would need a new Capacitor, a Hard Start kit, and a Freon recharge in the down unit He also told us we would need to recharge the Freon in the existing unit With three small children in the house, we agreed and he set to work After speaking with a number of other HVAC companies, we learned that what we were told and sold was much more than was required We were informed the unit would not run without the Hard Start Kit, which after doing our own research and speaking with a couple of other companies, we found that was untrue The Hard Start kit retails for for our Unit, we were charged dollars for a part we did not need The Capacitor for our unit

I recently had Matthew [redacted]  come to my residence and do a service call Not only was Matthew very professional he walked in with a smile on his face and went above and beyond my service call I am glad I called a penguin air and had the honor to have Matt do my service call he was very clean very positive and it was funny we need more people like Matthew in the workforce a positive person that shining so bright in my house now I can live comfortable am I cool nice house all things to Matthew he deserve a raise and promotion and more thank you penguin air and thank you Matthew

Penguin Air and Plumbing installed a new Heat Pump for me two years ago The unit has a year parts & labor warranty In addition, I also have a year maintenance agreement which covers my Spring & Fall System checkups as well as any plumbing issues that may come upTheir service technicians are always on time, professional and very knowledgeable If an issue arises, they are quick to respond - even after business hours (no extra charge)When they set an arrival time frame, they are sure to arrive within it; and, they’ll give you a call when they’re on the way I made the right decision when I chose Penguin Air They won’t dissapoint!
