Delivery crew destroyed a light on the front of my garageStore will not pay for repairsThey repeatedly avoid discussion on the problem
I purchased a new mattress and box springThree individuals on the delivery truckTwo were carrying box springs into houseThe third tried to carry the king size mattress in by himself, and hit and destroyed the light on the front of our garageThe other two attempted to position the broken light to conceal the damageMy neighbor witnessed the occurrence and came over and told me while they were still hereAll three claimed that they did not speak English, however one did speak in broken English when they arrivedWe contacted RTG and registered a complaintThey refused to replace all three matching lights, even though the broken light is no longer available, and there are none available that even come close to matching the broken lightThe service representatives were very rude an deliberately evasiveThey constantly drug the situation
damage to home during delivery that they refuse to reapair
Infuriated with the customer service, or lack there of, I have received from both my local Rooms To Go store in Chattanooga, TN as well as the number customer service departmentI purchased a sectional sofa back in JuneOn delivery, both the sofa as well as my home received damage due to the fact the delivery guys refused to take the legs off the sofa, dropped it twice outside, shoved it through my door, then the foyer into the living room where while they were attempting to turn it around the right way, dropped it again, where it scratched and dug into the floor and then scooted it across the floor where the support legs additionally scratched our hardwoodWe have damage to our glass storm door, door facing, latch, walls, etcI have been to our local store and spoken with manager, Cindy, timesShe is actually the one who just went ahead and put in an order for a whole new side of the sofa after I explained to her t
I purchased a complete bedroom set of furniture from rooms to go onlineThe furniture came with a manufacturer defect warranty for one yearI reported an issue with the dresser having a finish that came off on items that were placed on it.( the incident occured when I left a leatherbound padfolio sitting on the dresser for a few weeksWhen I removed it the surface of the dresser had transfered to the padfolio and came off with it.) I reported to incident to rooms to go and they sent someone out to inspect itThe guy said they didn't have the furniture anymore so it couldn't simply be replaced and they don't do repairs on surfaces because the finishing process can't be duplicated in the fieldHe put in his notes that the item looked like a "burn" which VOIDS the manufacturer warrantyThe damage was very clearly not a burnI reported a second occurance of the issue when the same type of damage happened yet againThis time I left a set of 5lb weights on the dresser for a few days
I purchased a Mega Motion Lift Chair on Nov7, through Rooms To GoNone on showroom floor to see or tryChair was delivered NovThe chair was so uncomfortable and the seat was so hard, I couldn't sit in it for any length of time.I called customer service & spoke with Renee & explained the problem on Dec1, They said they could send out a service techor exchange the chair for one of equal or lesser value if nothing could be done. They sent a service tech.on Dec15th and he said he had never seen a chair with a seat that hard.He put in a little extra stuffing and that's all he could do.The chair was still too hard to sit inI called back Dec24th and they sent the same service tech out on Jan12, He stated that the problem was not manufacture mistake and turned in his report.I had surgery and after recovery, I called Feb.11th, to see when I could come pick out a different chairI was told they had a day return policy and there was nothing they could do
A delivery from Rooms To Go, that has gone bad
I purchased a computer desk from Rooms To Go, that was delivered on Tuesday, August 2nd between 3:and 4: Unfortunately, upon the man removing the parts from the box, he dropped a part of the desk(the desk is predominantly glass), and it broke They proceeded to tell me that it was best to leave the product at my home that way they would bring the replacement faster, as opposed to them taking it back In hind sight, I see the fallacy in believing thatIt has been nothing but one disappointment after another trying to get them to deliver my replacement desk I have to put my life on hold for four hours to allow for their hour windowThat was fine, I had the time off, I did that However, it seems reasonable to me that, since through the carelessness of their delivery man breaking my desk, in the interest of keeping a customer they would make it possible to deliver my replacement desk at a time convenient to meAfter all, it
Furniture replacement was never done due to miss company lack of communicationNow am not even being offered a partial refund

I ordered a piece sectional on 7/Two of the three pieces were notably wornIt took months for Rooms to Go to "resolve" the issue
I ordered a 3-piece sectional from Rooms to Go in Stafford, TX on 6/for (Order#: XXXXXXX)The sectional was delivered on 7/After getting the sectional delivered, I noticed that the sofa and ottoman were noticeably worn/used (cushions were 2+ inches lower in height than the loveseat, less firm, and the stitching was worn)I had heard that it is not uncommon for furniture stores to send out showroom furniture and a sign of this could be furniture that comes wrapped and not in a boxAll of the pieces of my sectional came wrapped
I called Rooms to Go to schedule a tech to come out to inspect the piecesI had to reschedule the appointment several times as the tech arrived either early, late, or did not call in advance as promisedWhen the tech finally came out (an hour earlier than the time slot given), he literally said no wor
I have been trying to get a replacement drawer for a night stand since August I have received deliveries, both of which were damaged because of poor packaging Not sure where to turn, but customer service does not seem to be doing their job I will never buy from Rooms to Go again
OrderXXXXXXX Cracking leather after three years
Buyer beware of leather furniture at Rooms to gyear lifespan before cracking appearsOrderXXXXXXX I have contacted Rooms to go about the cracking in our leather sofa seat after only years since purchaseLeather should last longer then years before showing this kind of cracking or weaknessI purchased a sofa, recliner, love seat, and end tables from Rooms to go in July of we take good care of our furniture and expect it to last what sales persons lead us to believe a long time because you only use "quality leather"We also purchased a year $300+ three year extended warranty which of course expired in JulyOur recliner and love seat are fine but one of the seat cushions of sofa and opposite side are cracking and show the fact that their leather is cheap and the sealant they convince you to purchase is nothing more than snakes oilThis was the second set of living room furniture I purchased from rooms to go and the la
First I want to point out it took almost three months to receive my reclinerIt was originally supposed to be delivered February 29th which was much too long considering when we ordered it (January 2)We almost changed out minds at the beginning of February because my mother-in-law who lives with us suffered a blood clot from sitting in camping chairsSince it was too late and the CS rep didn't bother calling back my wife who had called to cancel if they couldn't deliver sooner, we decided to wait it outOne week before delivery time (which I was really excited about) we received a call from RTG to let me know my chair, which was actually ready before the couch when we ordered it, would now not be delivered until, March 22, I knew ranting and raving wouldn't help and I wrote RTG to explain my frustration and had not heard back from them for over a weekDistraught, we waited, until I finally heard back in a sterile email which wanted some information I decided to blow off because it was far too late after such a long wait in the first place
When we received the couch, the delivery people had to take it apart because it was too heavy for the guy who was in training which is likely the reason the back-rest became loose and we had to call a repair person and the coffee table was damagedIt was going to take a few weeks before they could send anyone to repair eitherReally unacceptableBTW, the repair is noticeable; the repairman really did a poor job
Now a new complaint:
The delivery people delivered my chair while I was at workMy mother-in-law had to receive the chairEvidently it didn't work at the time of delivery but the delivery guy lied to my mother-in-law and told her when the adapter light turned green, it would workWell, it doesn't workIn fact, there is no sign of any power going to the chair from the adapter with the green lightEither their delivery guy was a mn or he was too lazy to make the correctionEither way, it was all I could do not to cuss out the CS rep, who I called to request, yet, another repair for a product that, after three months, of waiting, doesn't work
These guys have a serious problem standing by your products and respecting their customersThere is no way I should have to wait another two weeks to have the recliner repairedI will do all I can to divert people from shopping in that storeI may not do much damage to their reputation, but that kind of arrogance will do it's own damageSprint, Verizon, and many other organizations had to go through the same wacall to find out the cash cow won't keep coming in if they don't take care of it
Freaking, I can't stress this enough! Stay away from Rooms To Go at all costsHeck! Buy used if you have toEven Ikea has better products and customer serviceDon't be fooled; it looks nice, but it's just a high priced piece of *** and if you decide to roll the dice and buy your furniture there and it turns out to be broken, good luck getting a competent repair person to come fix it
Just trying to settle a resolution that Rooms To Go reached out to me on about a sinking mattress
On December 20th, I received an e-mail from Tatjana M.whose in charge of Special Projects/In Home Damage Claim LiaisonShe advised that due to the issues with my mattress sinking that we could exchange it out for another one of greater or equal value and that if it was greater we would be responsible for the additional costI replied to her email on 12/25/advising that I would prefer to have the cost of the mattress refunded as I have no desire to do any further business with Rooms To GoI sent another e-mail on January 8th, advising I still hadn't heard anything from her as she only gave me days on the offerI emailed her again on the 17th of January as I still hadn't heard anythingThen I finally got a phone call I believe on the 18th of JanuaryI advised that I would rather have the cost of the mattress refunded to meI explained that the last time I tried to
I purchased a living room set from which included sofa, loveseat, end tables and coffee tables on april They delivered a damaged coffee table which was badly scratch and scuffed on the 29th of april I called customer service and made a complain and they promised to do an exchange and red flag the product and the delivery, so the same issue does not happen againThey set up a new delivery date for the for may 4thThe coffee table was delivered with even more scratches than the first oneI called customer service again for another exchange on may 4th and the customer service representative I spoke to had a bad attitude with me and raised her voice at me just because I said to her that I could not hear her wellI then called again to file a complain about the agent I spoke to and set up another exchange and delivery for the May 10thOn May 10th, they delivered another damage productI Called again about the product and they keep repeating the same rhetoric and basically s

In July, we purchased a living room set from Rooms To Go online The set was listed as being on clearance, and we paid $for it on July 11, 2018, all via online purchase and payment The furniture was delivered on Thursday, July 26, On Sunday evening, July 28th, we had a visit from my in-laws, and when my mother-in-law, who is suffering from early-stage Alzheimer's, tried to get up from the loveseat, she had extreme difficulty getting up and nearly fellAt that point, we realized that we had made a big mistake with our purchase, which we didn't think about when we ordered as she is, as previously mentioned, in the early stages of the disease and we are still adjusting to the issues, and the disease will progress and the furniture issue would get worse, not better (She has electric recline at home, and did not fully understand how to operate the manual recline when getting up out of it, and also didn't have enough strength in her legs to push it down.) The next eveni

The wood from one of the stool chairs from a dining room set I purchased cracked for no reason
I purchased a dining room set from rooms to go about a year agoThe dining room set is hardly ever used and after sitting on the chair one day the wood supporting the chair/stool completely crackedI called customer service and told the company about the chair, they scheduled to send a technician out a week laterThe original appointment had to be rescheduled because of my conflicting schedulewhen the technician arrived he looked at the chair took pictures and told me someone would call me in a couple daysThe company called me after a couple days and told me that the chair breaking was my faultThey told me that he must have had people sitting down on the chair too hardTheir theory is not very practical because one the chairs are stool chairs and they are high upMost importantly my girlfriend and I hardly every entertain guests and we rarely even use the dining room setI believ
