Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I just wanted to share with you what my last weeks have been like since Priceline made their final decision on February 11, 2016, about my $airline ticket, that they would still honored 2- 18- P/C to Priceline but, they did not get the new information after a week's time 2- 19- P/C to Priceline got their email address, they quoted me the price of $for a new ticket, made an appointment to talk again on Monday, 2/22/16, 4:- 5: 2- 20- Priceline called me, told me the price for a new ticket was $ 2- 21- Priceline called me, told me the price for a new ticket was $ 2- 22- No phone call from Priceline I need your professional opinion if I have any other options open for a resolution from Priceline? I am willing to pay the $penalty for re-booking but no more money, since tickets are cheaper now ( it was interesting that my email address has been blocked from Priceline when I did a price comparison to the other airline ticket agencies) Sincerely, [redacted]

We are sorry that the consumer was not satisfied with the quality of the two star Express Deals accommodations at the [redacted] Front Central located at [redacted] Our record indicates that upon check-in on August 8, 2015, when the guest advised the front desk representative that she was not satisfied with the quality of the hotel, the hotel representative offered the guest the option to cancel the reservation. However, the customer declined this option. On August 10, 2015, post travel; the customer contacted Priceline's Customer Service to request a refund for this booking. Priceline contacted the property concerning the guest’s refund request and we were advised that a refund is no longer available because the guest stayed at the property and used the reservation. Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Priceline was misleading in selling me tickets on [redacted] Airlines without clear notice that these tickets were "basic economy" and did NOT provide seat assignments in advance of the flight The inability to get seat assignments was NOT communicated to me Priceline's response indicates that not getting seat assignments is common practice among airlines This is not true, particularly not true for [redacted] Airlines I have NEVER purchased tickets from Priceline or from [redacted] that did not allow seating in advance of the departure date Priceline did not communicate these tickets were not able to have seat assignments This is in sharp contrast with [redacted] Airlines, which I discovered on its website did communicate clearly that these seats are "basic economy" and don't include seat assignments Priceline should recognize in this situation, it did mislead me and did not communicate as should have been practice that these tickets did not allow seat assignment To address this complaint, Priceline should cover the costs for me to purchase advanced seat assignments for this flight [redacted] offers an upgrade for $per seat In this situation, it is critically important for me to have seat assignments in advanced, as our family is flying with two minor children, who need to be seated next to a parent Sincerely, [redacted]

We are writing to let you know that we have received your RevDex.com concern in our Executive Offices. We understand that you are requesting a refund of the cancellation fee. We have reviewed the notes on your record and they indicate that the rate you purchased is non-refundable. This information was presented to you prior to purchase when you were asked to review your reservation, including the location of the hotel you requested/agreed to purchase and the terms associated with cancellations or changes. When you purchased your reservation you agreed to those terms. However, we made an exception because of your issue and broke our contract with our travel partner. Your reservation was canceled and your refund has been processed. A refund for $36.46, which is 50% of the total cost, was issued on October 27, 2014. We will issue a refund to your bank within one business day. Your bank will then post it to your account. The bank processing time varies so please check with them if you do not see it in your account within a few days. The remaining amount offsets the charges imposed by our travel partners for the cancellation of a non-refundable reservation, and is consistent with the fees charged by the travel partners themselves.
