Review: On 10/7/2015 I entered into a contract/purchase agreement to buy a home (MLS #[redacted] at [redacted] County. PNC Bank National Association is the Seller. They used [redacted], a [redacted] Financial Services Company (near Denver, CO) represented by [redacted], VP, Operations & Client Relations. After conducting Inspections at $510, Buyer and Seller signed documents to purchase home at $20,000 on 11/4/2015. Also, $1,000 in Earnest $ was paid by Buyer to [redacted] title company in Coraopolis, PA represented by [redacted], REO Sr. Closing Coordinator. On 11/6/2015, the day of Closing, Seller's listing agent informed Buyer that Seller would not accept $20,000, instead they demanded $22,000 and claimed that I cancelled contract.Desired Settlement: I desire a refund of my $1,000 Earnest money, a refund of my $510 spent on inspections, and explanation of whether PNC Bank, [redacted] and [redacted]'s conduct was illegal.

Review: Subordination practices are dreadful. I have tried to get a subordination for 7 months now. First off my loan to value is less than 60% and combined loan to value of 92%. The first attempt took 63 days for them to come back with a rejection due to me saving hundreds of thousands of dollars on interest but raising my payment by $83 a month. So I had my mortgage banker try again with me lowering my payment by $400 a month. We are now in the 43 day and they continue to come back with more and more request. It doesn't seem to make sense how a company can control me and my finances this way. PNC has cost me thousands of dollars on interest, extension of interest lock fee's and refinance fee's due to their lack of urgency or common sense. I just want my subordination approved or a valid reason why they cant approve.Desired Settlement: Subordination approved, $555 for 2nd appraisal incurred, $1750 in lock extensions refunded.

Review: I filed a dispute regarding a hotel charge that was incorrectly charged. I had been charged $580.78 more than I should have been. The hotel had responded that I didn't provide the documentation to receive the refund, which I responded that I had and the exact person I provided that to. The manager informed me of not receiving the documentation and also noted at that time that $33 for the minibar charges, which wasn't touched, would be refunded. After I provided the documentation they required once again I never received a response, I let a week go by and nothing had been refunded to my account and no response was given. I filed the dispute and over a period of about 3 months I had to respond to PNC about 4-5 times with more information that they kept requesting for the dispute despite me providing the emails and invoices and a whole page letter on what had happened. And of course after 3 months of "investigating" they found I am liable for the charges and took the provisional credit back out of my account. And to top it off because of that reversal of clear over charged services, it sent my account negative which over the last 2 months have cost me $100+ in overdraft and negative account fees. Their dispute resolution is a joke, every dispute I have to put in all the info online and than they send me a letter asking me to do the same thing!!!???? Why did I have to do it all online than if you make me do it again through the mail??? Than they putz around and ask a couple more questions with which you have to respond asap or they take your money back. Con-artists is all this company is. [redacted] never treats people this way.Desired Settlement: I am looking to get the $580.78 back that I fully provided documentation to show I was due that back from the hotel. I would also like to receive all the negative daily charges and nsf fees refunded since it was their lack of real "investigation" skills and common sense that caused them. And I would also appreciate it if my account could be closed asap and the money owed to me sent via check. Thank You.

PNC has investigated the customer’s complaint. PNC requested additional information from the customer regarding the dispute, however, all of the requested information was not provided. Therefore, based on the information available to us, the customer’s dispute was denied. As a courtesy, $127 in fees were refunded to the Customer. The customer continued to use her Account after the filing of the Revdex.com complaint. We attempted to contact the customer in order to confirm her request for Account closure, however, we were unable to reach her. Therefore, the Account remains open at this time until we receive further communication from the customer.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I appreciate the credit for the overdraft fees, but I did respond to every letter I received regarding this matter including sending documentation that the hotel said they did not receive during my stay. I also had written a thorough explanation of everything that happened and the invoice of the charges from the hotel. Along with that I included an email from the manager of the hotel that was very straight forward as to why I was charged what I was, which the documents previously sent would have been sufficient to show that I indeed was to be honored the discounted rate. I have attached them again here to this complaint and will attach them once again to this response as to ensure they are received.

Review: on Tuesday feburary 2, 2015 I looked at my online bank account and had 3 items go thru, the [redacted] and [redacted] payments and the [redacted]. I had enough money in the account to cover the [redacted] accounts. but I did not have enough for [redacted] so in return I should only receive one fee. but wait its now Wednesday morning and they switched what went thru first, now [redacted] went thru first which I had enough to cover, but now [redacted] and [redacted] theres not enough to cover and now I was charged two fees. what kind of practices are these, clearly [redacted] and [redacted] were presented first and second and then [redacted] was third. but I guess they want to put big stuff thru first to make more money...I would have been ok with returning the [redacted] and only been charged one fee.Desired Settlement: I would like one fee of $36.00 refunded to my account.

2-10-15 JMEPNC Bank has responded directly to this customer via telephone conversation on 2-10-15 and addressed the customers concerns.
It takes many bad experiences for me to publicly complain.
1. Overseeing my mother's finances and both of us having multiple bank accounts at pnc, I asked if they had a notary service because I may want to legally take over my mother's finances because she is starting to be taken advantage of due to her advanced age. They stated, they could give me a bank power of attorney now. My mother said yes, lets do this now. Later, they would not honor it when I needed to close her accounts when 10,000 was misappropriated. Now, I have durable power of attorney but not soon enough as my mother will not see that $10000 again.
2. On 3/22/2016 I made a deposit of $100 in to my bank account, and then noticed I needed to put more money in. So, I went to a different branch because it is closer and I loathe the branch that caused my mother so much financial pain. I deposited $200 on 3/23/2016 at the [redacted] branch. After that deposit I was told I need to come in for an interview because of the patriot act. I understand the Patriot act as I have worked on computer systems while being employed in banking and insurance companies including the fraud departments for over 15 years. I have a federal security clearance to have access to sensitive records and had to go through that whole process of fingerprints, federal background checks, nsa, etc. I understand that this little bank account with minuscule deposits would not have triggered any computer pre-programmed response. Also, I have had this account for many years. Since I have shown my driver's license and passport card when they first gave me a bank POA, this is just ridiculous and borderline harassment.
So, yes...take it from me. Not a place to do your banking. I should have listened to them when they originally wanted me to handle all transactions using the ATM. Stay away or move your money. And....never trust them to honor a bank power of attorney that they suggested, created and guaranteed. I will post another review after the interview next week.
Review: Re: $25.60 fee for use of Visa debit card overseasThe purpose of this complaint is to highlight the unfair and unreasonable nature of transaction fees that PNC Bank charged me recently. On a recent trip to Colombia, I had to use my Visa card. This complaint specifically refers to the point of sale transaction in the amount of $853.20. PNC charged me $25.60 as transaction fee.A few days after my return, I went into the branch to request a credit. The Business banking representative I met ([redacted]?) assured me that he would look into it. He also explained that any portion of the fee charged by VISA could not be refunded, but any fee charged by PNC directly he would consider refunding. I mentioned to him that there had been no notice of this fee from PNC and that my other Visa check cards didn't charge such a high fee.A couple of days later, [redacted] called me and explained that roughly half the fee was charged by VISA and the rest was PNC's. He tole me he would recommend a refund of the PNC portion of the fee, to reverse about $12.50 in charges. A couple of days went by and I had not heard from him and so called him at the branch. He told me he still hadn't heard from the branch manager. On either June 6th/7th, I got a call from a woman claiming to be the branch manager. She referenced the issue of transaction fees, and told me there's nothing PNC could do to reverse the $25.60 fee. When I asked her about the conflicting assurances/assessment of the Business banking rep Joseph, she stated that "he had given me the wrong information", and that he was mistaken in his assessment of the fees. I reiterated that PNC had never communicated the fees to me, and that a $25.60 fee for a $853 charge was shocking. She repeated she couldn't help me, and that I was not to rely on any previous assurances from the business banking rep. regarding the fee. (continued in "desired settlement description" section below)Desired Settlement: When I mentioned that I have never heard of such a fee in my years as a customer, she repeated that there was nothing she could do and that I could take my business elsewhere if I wanted.Based on the facts above, and on account of no prior disclosure and notice, I would like PNC to immediately reverse the $25.60 transaction fee assessed to my account. If Revdex.com Cincinnati is unable to resolve this issue, I will not hesitate to take up this issue with the CFPB and file an appropriate action.

Review: We received an offer from PNC that said...Open a qualifying PNC Checking account by July 31, 2014. Establish a qualifying direct deposit and make at least one payment with PNC online Bill pay and get $200 deposited to your new PNC Bank checking account. We did all of the steps necessary, that is until we got to the online bill pay. Their system is flawed and the directions are like mud. It says to enter a pin number, which we had, but it did not work. We tried repeatedly to pay a bill online, but it kept giving us an error - stating that our pin number was incorrect. So we tried to call the customer service number. They said they couldn't help us and that we needed to go to our local branch. After spending hours on the computer and phone, I had to drag my kids and wife (on a day we were supposed to be having family time) up to the local branch for assistance. No one at the branch could make it work either. The level of incompetence was astounding! The branch sent in a request to the headquarters and asked for a new debit card and pin number to be sent - which took a long time to arrive. I eventually went to the branch and made the online bill payment at the 70 day mark (offer was 60 days and I visited the branch before 60 days to do so initially), but because the system wouldn't allow us to pay the bill, even though we tried, and because no one at PNC customer service or the branch could seem to make it work - they are now refusing to honor the offer. They are hiding behind a flawed system and poor customer service. Both myself and my wife have tried to call to ask for a resolution, but no one is willing to help - we are denied every time. I tried to call last weekend and was promised a call back within 24 hours, and NO ONE CALLED!!! I had to call back myself. The last time the lady either hung up on us or we were disconnected. And this is the kicker -for every attempt we made on the computer and phone and branch - phone CS says that they conveniently have no record of any of this. UNREAL!Desired Settlement: We want the $200 and an apology.

I have 4 accounts with this bank and have had no issues until now. OUr small business deposited a rather large check (for us), that was made available immediately. This didn't seem right to me, so I waited 3 business days to make sure that I gave them time to secure the funds on the other end....which much to my surprise, this bank apparently doesn't do. The funds were made available, so I assumed that the money was secure. After withdrawing some of that check, it was then returned as forged/fraudulent. Unfortunately, I was also a victim of a scam and lost the funds to people who took advantage of us and disappeared so there was no way to recover the funds. I own my part of this ordeal, however, PNC bank has no interest in owning their part of this and no interest in even speaking to me on the matter. We are pulling our 4 accounts and all of our employees who hold accounts there, have agreed to pull theirs as well. My understanding of the whole point of banks is that they are there to protect and secure our money. PNC has no interest in that.
Review: I spoke to a guy by the name of [redacted] when I found out my account was 192.00 overdrawn he told me that I was charged 4 fees which equaled 180 something dollors so that means they are charging me over 180 something dollors for maybe 6 or 7 dollors of overdraft I told them I wanted to close account and be charged no more fees and then I could catch the account up and be done with pnc bank he warned me they will charge 7.00 a day up to 98.00 then charge 30.00 more dollors to shut down my account I feel they are ripping people off with taking there money especially for 6 or 7 dollors that I was short. Also my account was positive 10.00 on Monday according to atm machine and that's the day he said I was charged all those fees. I think they are ripping people off and stealing there money I used to like them but now I wish that I would have got my car from another bank that way I didn't have to deal with them no more. I feel they should refund atleast the fees back and let me close the account out I live off disability and so does my son and when I told them I was new to have a banking account he did tell me that's how pnc bank gets money is for people charging people those fees even if its .01 cent negative. I would like people to know that if you go through pnc bank for financial reasons to please be careful and make sure you don't use atm machine cause I had turned right around and put the money bk in my account 30 mins after the fact I relized I used the wrong card and they still charged me 192.00 in fees my account was in a positive state when they charged me all that money I feel I was targeted and ripped off over this matter and feel it should not have been done when my account was positive I really liked pnc the branch I use is awesome but I cant continue to let them rob me for money I don't haveDesired Settlement: I would like them to refund my money back to my account. I would be willing to stay with them and talk about what can help me with this account but I don't feel like they should charge me 192.00 when the money was put back in there 30 minutes later I would understand if it was days later by 30 minutes later should have covered it and I wouldn't have been charged 192.00

Review: On January 17th at about 6:00pm $790.94 was taken out of my checking account with PNCBank. I spoke with a [redacted] who was rude and informed me that they were going to keep taking money until the full balance of 18,000.00 is paid in full. This a private student loan debt. The records that I have I did not originally take out loan with PNC Bank it was another loan company. I was not notified that PNC Bank became the originator. I also was not informed by PNC Bank that they would allow such a deduction without prior notice to the consumer. In my opinion this is very unethical. Even when a person files bankruptcy they do not take a person entire income. And that is what this company has done. I have yet to see a receipt for payment towards the claimed debt/ student loan. The practices that PNC has is not fair and is unjust. I feel like I was robbed and violated. I have had to borrow money from family members in order to stay a float with bills. I informed Mr. [redacted] that I had 7.00 in a savings account and why didn't they get that he said they didn't see it or they would have taken that too.Desired Settlement: I would like for both PNC Bank practices to be investigated. I would like my 790.94 back and if I am to be garnished they need to do it the proper and legal way.I would like better communication and a resolution towards the loan. I want a receipt and if one is not provided I'd like to know why I have not. If I have a case towards any party in this situation I'd like to file a some type of law suite.

Review: Again I have another complaint with PNC Bank. My husband deposited his change on Friday the 15th at 11:10am. Per PNC bank, if it is before 3pm the funds are available the next buisness day... anything after 3pm the funds will be assessed on the next buisness day which is Monday. So, Three charges came through on our account after 3pm... Techically Monday... however, on Friday, 3 NSF (totaling $108.00) were posted to our account as if it is the same business day. I had contacted the escalations department and they gave me the run around... they said I was "technically right" but there is a 10pm processing time!!! So then things that are supposed to be applied on Monday's day of Service are applied on Saturday's day of service!!! Which is it, the same day, the next day or monday!!!! They make up rules as we go and i'm tired of it! I am no means rich so $108 is a BIG DEAL! I want this refunded to our account! It is robbery!Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Refund I want the $108 NSF refunded to our bank account.

Review: I am writing to inform the Revdex.com of a delinquent rating PNC Bank put on my credit report. In September 2014, I reviewed my credit report and found out that PNC had rated me delinquent with two 30-days late ratings and one 60-day late rating on my closed revolving credit PNC account. This startled me, as I did not know about this reporting. From February 2011 to September 2011, I was not in the country because I left the country towards the end of January 2011 for my husbands funeral. Prior to leaving, I submitted a $500 payment that January (over the phone) for PNC to apply it to my account for my February 2011 through September 2011 payments. The representative I spoke to assured me that my account was set up for my payments to be applied to my account accordingly till I got back into the United States. When I got back into the country in late September 2011, I reviewed my statements and saw that contrary to what the representative had told me, my payments were not applied for some months. I went to my local PNC branch about this situation and the PNC associate assured me that they would correct this error as I had submitted my $500 payment on time. I paid the remaining balance off the account and closed it the same day because I didnt want to deal with them anymore. Well, I find out 3 years later that PNC never fixed this error.I have submitted 2 disputes consecutively with [redacted] The results for the first dispute came back and PNC had stated that my 30-day late ratings were for February and July. I disagreed and submitted a second dispute with [redacted] 3 weeks later. This time around, PNC stated that my 30-day late ratings were for March and August. I was confused so I called PNC for someone to explain the discrepancy between the results to me. The representative I spoke to told me that the account I was calling in regards to had been deleted out of their system (since its been after two years) so she will not be able to locate it.Desired Settlement: Please take appropriate action against PNC on my behalf and please advise them that the delinquent activity they put on my credit saying I was 30 days late in February (or March), 30 days late in July (or August), and 60 days late in August (or September), be taken off my credit as the representative I spoke to before leaving the country accepted my payments and stated that she had set me up for future payments till I got back into the country. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Review: I responded to an on line add offering $150.00 bonus for new accounts. I have difficulty speaking so I used their on line chat to verify I qualified for the bonus. The terms were not very clear as to if you maintain a $2000.00 balance were you also required to set up direct deposit. I specifically asked if both were required because I could not do direct deposit since I am not employed or receiving any regular payments. I was assured if I kept the necessary minimum balance I would qualify. I then opened an account and transferred the $2000.00. When I received the account information and documentation there was no mention of the $150.00 bonus. I phoned customer service to verify. I was then told I'd been misinformed and would not get the bonus. I asked for a supervisor who appologized for the misinformation and promised to give me a full refund. I told him I was open to keeping the account open if I got the bonus, but he insisted he had already closed the account and my check was being processed. His name is [redacted] and gave me a direct line to contact him: ###-###-#### if I didn't receive my check within 7 days. This was 3 weeks ago. I called him and got through a week later, he said he had made an error and instead of closing the account he transfered my funds to another account but he would issue the check that day for $2000.00. I asked the funds be sent back, he said No. I said just pay me the bonus and leave the account open. He again insisted it was too late and the account was already closed and to check back in a week if I had not received my check. That was two weeks ago, no check. I have been calling his number almost daily and get only voice mail. I've left messages that go unanswered. As of today the account remains open. I tried to reach a supervisor today by phone and at great personal distress due to my speech impediment. 1st Tyler refused to put me through even after I explained my predicament and hung up on me. 2nd [redacted] promised a call back from a supervisor, none came.Desired Settlement: Had they been honest in the first place, I'd not have opened an account with them. In Florida the only advantage is the $150.00 bonus. Since I can't make direct deposits, I am not eligible and therefor this was a waste of everyone's time and energy. I acted upon misinformation given me by their employee. Now I am being punished for their error. I can barely speak they give me no consideration. I can utter a few words without a coughing spasm. My stuggle to speak is ignored by demands for info.

Review: I recently filed a complaint because PNC Bank was giving me overdraft charges that exceeded the amount that my account was negative. They did refund the charges for the week of the complaint but since then has issued more charges including 3 - $36 charges which over drafted my account more $102. The overdraft charges alone equal $108. This business is still taking money that do not believe is owed to them and making my account negative when it should not be.Desired Settlement: I want these overdraft charges reviewed and refunded as they should be. There were more charges than what was refunded to me.

Review: This company failed to disclose charges when asked. Instead the include charges that I was unaware of.
On Monday April 20, 2015. I called PNC Investments to close an account that I had with them. When I spoke to the representative on the phone, he advised me that I would have to pay a closing cost of 285.00 for closing the account, which I had no problem with. When the money was deposited into my account, I notice that it wasn't the amount that was disclosed to me on Monday by the representative. It was actually, less. I called and spoke to another representative who advised that I was charged an additional 135.00 for what I don't know and was not advised about on Monday. So I was charged
285.00 and 135.00. This company is trying to steal money by not disclosing fees or additional charges and if I would have not called to question it, I would have never known. I did not even approve them to take 135.00 from me and if they listen to the recorded conversation, they will hear that the representative did not disclose it and or I did not approve it.Desired Settlement: I request that they refund me the 135.00 that they took from me without my knowledge or approval.
