Online City Tickets Reviews (2190)

Thank you for your response regarding this matterThough Ms [redacted] continues to press forward with this matter, Online City Tickets maintains that all necessary ticket and order details are shown to customers prior to checkout As we have previously clarified, Ms [redacted] was adequately notified prior to checkout that all sales are final and that all prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)This information was stated on our website’s checkout page in bold text directly above the box Ms [redacted] selected to signify her agreement to our sales terms and conditionsThough Ms [redacted] has indicated she was not offered compensation, this should be noted as inaccurateMs [redacted] was in contact with several members of our customer service department on 11/9/2016, and all of her concerns were thoroughly addressed at that timeMs [redacted] was given an opportunity to accept compensation; however, she declinedAs it presently stands, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

Thank you for reaching out to usAt Online City Tickets, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customer’s concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets?"instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. After our customer selected the event they were interested in, they proceeded to select the listing which they desiredThe listing our customer selected clearly stated, Section: GA PIT Row: PITThe corresponding map also reiterated General Admission PitAs our customer indicated, the tickets which they received on 5/25/mirrored the listing in addition to seat numbersGeneral Admission, or GA, is an industry-standard term that specifies a section which has no specific assigned seat or row and may require patrons to stand during the eventAs tickets are usually issued with a Section, Row, and Seat Number, in relation to General Admission tickets, the row and seat numbers are stated for organizational and inventory purposes.Due to the nature of our business on the secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not affiliated with any artist or venue and does not own inventory; instead, we act as an intermediary between customers and sellersSince our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an “all sales are final” policy?"a standard throughout the industry and agreed to at the time of purchase.? Prior to receiving this claim we discussed this matter with our customer and offered a courtesy resolution, stepping outside of the agreed to terms; however, our customer declined this resolutionOur customer has since filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this orderWe are unable to provide a resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open due to the nature of the dispute processWe encourage our customer to contact the institution with which the dispute was filed in relation to any questions they may have regarding its process or outcomeAs it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

My only complaint was clarity as to why someone elses name was on ticket

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this matter to our attentionAt Online City Tickets, we value our customer and would like to take the time to address Ms [redacted] concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersThis fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: “We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue.” In regards to Ms [redacted] concerns regarding the price of the tickets, or face value, it should be noted that the prices of tickets are set by the individual ticket sellers, not Online City Tickets, based on an assessment of a range of market factors, including customer demandThis means ticket prices may fluctuate at any time, and sellers are notified immediately when an order is placedAs a secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets is not directly affiliated with any artist or venue and does not generate tickets as a primary box office; rather, we act as an intermediary between fans and ticket holdersSince customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure our policies are fair to both partiesThis means that we are unable to offer refunds and must enforce an “all sales are final” policy—a standard throughout the industry. When Ms [redacted] selected her tickets, she was taken to our checkout pageFrom there, she was directed to review the itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price in bolded textMs [redacted] was required to agree to our terms and conditions—visible in a text box below this order total—and presented with the bolded message “All sales are final.” At this point, Ms [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkoutDuring this process, Ms [redacted] saw an even more in-depth order summary that displayed the number and prices of their tickets, delivery and service fees, and the total charge We have been in contact with Ms [redacted] regarding this issue and have offered a courtesy resolution which Ms [redacted] has since rejectedIf Ms [redacted] wishes to pursue the offered resolution, we encourage her to contact us directly Our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that Ms [redacted] may have; as it presently stands, we consider this matter closed.Regards,Online City Tickets

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The section I selected to purchase tickets in was Krow I assumed that the tickets would be in section Krow and yes the final review screen did show Nbut I still feel this was a bait and switch They showed a menu of the entire venue and I selected the seats specifically clicking on them on the map and was paying extra because Kis the first section behind the boxes and row would mean we would have nobody standing right in front of us during the event While I take some responsibility for not being more diligent (as I have never had to be with any other ticket service see below) before clicking accept I still have a core complaint that I clicked on seats in Krow but then was given seats in N Thus I dont feel satisfied Regarding the call I took with them again I did not realize at that time my seats were not in K I didnt realize that until I received the seats in the mail Section Nis a full section behind K I have used [redacted] dozens of times and [redacted] dozens of times All offer a similar map of the venue and show exactly what seats are available and how much and you click on them and those are the seats you get In my dozens of transactions with [redacted] and ticket master I have never had a problem, never been given seats in a different section than the ones I clicked on in the map so I was not hyper vigilant on checking the final screen to see if the seats were indeed what I clicked on And if you look I am not alone Over complaints on the Revdex.com site Sincerely, [redacted]

Sent my tickets on time and had no problems Great service

I got a great price for my tickets, and I was able to print them out immediatelyI had a question regarding someone's name on the tickets, but the company responded within one day and assured me that this was ok, and nothing to worry about

Thank you for reaching out to us and bringing this matter to our attentionWe take the customer experience seriously here at Online City Tickets and would like to take the time to address Mr [redacted] concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket Buyer’s and ticket sellersThis fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: “We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue.”When Mr [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, they were directed to review their itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed all fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded textMr [redacted] was then directed to review our terms and conditions—visible in a text box below this order total—and presented with the bolded message “All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD).” At this point, Mr [redacted] was also presented with the message “I agree to the sales terms and conditions above,” and a check box that needed to be selected in order to continue with checkoutAfter checking the box and clicking “Review Order” they are taken to the checkout page which features an even more in-depth order summary that displays the number and prices of their tickets, delivery and service fees, and the total charge. In regards to Mr [redacted] issue regarding a different name being on the tickets they received, it should be noted that this is actually a common occurrenceBecause listings on our site are owned by trusted sellers, the tickets often ship from these sellers directly to customers, and so may display the name of the original purchaserWe ensure that this is not an error, but simply information left over from when the tickets were first issuedAll tickets are guaranteed to be transferable and valid for entry to their respective events, and customers are never required to present identification that matches the name printed on their tickets. We have been in constant contact with Mr [redacted] regarding this issue and, as a one-time courtesy, provided a resolution that suits both partiesWhile our management team is available to handle any additional concerns that Mr [redacted] may have, we consider this matter closed.Regards,OnlineCityTickets

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I did receive tickets today (the day of the concert)Although we will be able to attend the concert, the tickets I received were not nearly as good seats as the ones I purchasedMy total purchase was $for five tickets or $per ticketThe ones I received clearly say $each So, my dissatisfaction is that the guarantee they advertise "commensurate value tickets by the time of the concert" was not metI believe I am due a partial refundThe other issue is that they didn't resolve the problem until the day before the concert which led to a very stressful situation not knowing if the concert which had been promsed to family, some of whom were travelling from out of town, would be happeningTrying to get someone on their call center phones is nearly impossibleOnce I held for hours until finally being cut offI figured out how to get through to higher level agents, but couldn't get anyone to commit to resolve the situation until the day before the concertMy conclusion is either that this company is either disingenuous or totally clueless about reasonable customer service Sincerely, [redacted]

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address [redacted] concernsWe should explain that OnlineCityTickets.com is an online exchange, which means we do not own or generate tickets--instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersThese sellers set their own prices based on their understanding of the current market climate, which means prices are not based on the original value, or face value--a fact clearly explained in our sales terms When [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, she was directed to review her itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the service and delivery fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded text [redacted] was then directed to review our terms and conditions--visible in a text box below this order total--and presented with the bolded message "All sales are final." At this point, she was also presented with the message "I agree to the sales terms and conditionsI have reviewed the Order Summary above,"" and a check box that she needed to click to continue with checkoutBelow this check-box, another message was displayed that read: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $303.35, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." This notice was followed by a button labeled "Place Order." When [redacted] clicked this button, she signified her acknowledgement of the total price and these terms, and completed her order Our sales policies, including our "all sales are final" policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process--from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message "All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." Additionally, all sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer full refundsHowever, we have offered to refund a significant portion of the service fees associated with her order as a one-time courtesy, which [redacted] denied [redacted] was made aware of our policies before she placed the order and we are not able to provide her desired resolutionIf [redacted] has any further questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us Thank you, OnlineCityTickets

I recieved my tickets within days of ordering

Easy shopping experience with timely responses I'm impressed!!

Wanted to buy concert tickets for the [redacted] concert for the July in Toronto A Friend & I chose the [redacted] .ca site but somehow we were transferred to Online Ticket.ca This was our first time ever buying concert tickets We believed we were still on a Canadian site and somehow it was part of [redacted] and not third party vendors We ordered tickets There was an admin fee for each ticket instead of for the one order Our tickets with the admin fee came up to $for eTickets Which we found expensive but were willing to pay so we reviewed the order & then placed it The next day I verified my credit card and noticed my card was charged $plus another temporary hold of $because it happened to be an American site that we were transferred to Looks like 3rd vendors will attach themselves to Canadian sites I panicked tried to call that business left a message and also sent an email to no avail One of my family members decided he would get a hold of someone by faking to buy a ticket for the concert He was successful in getting a human to speak to He then was able to clarify if this was a legit site The representative sent all transaction receipt to my email as proof When I reverified if it stated anywhere that the price is in US funds it does at the bottom, which I missed I believe that it should have said USD beside the final total amount and not at the bottom This way people wouldn't miss it Anyways, our tickets were real and we were able to enjoy the show The only thing I have to say is that the service for when you have a concern and need to speak with someone is poor You need to fake buying a ticket in order to get a human on the phone The site, well it was our fault that we missed the part prior to placing the order that it was in US funds which I'm ok with It's just the service that is lacking
