Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/12) */ Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Ms***'s concernsFirst, we should explain that OnlineCityTickets.com is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersThis fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue." We understand that Ms [redacted] ordered tickets to see The [redacted] on 9/14/This concert was later postponed, and as of this response has been rescheduled for 05/27/Because of this, Ms [redacted] has asked that Online City Tickets refund her purchaseHowever, because sellers on our site list their own tickets and are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, we are unable to cancel or refund orders, or provide exchangesWe can provide refunds only in certain situations, such as when an event is cancelled and not rescheduledAs the Refund Policy transparently described in our sales terms states: "All sales are finalA full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping charges, will be given for cancelled events." Because the event has been rescheduled and not cancelled as Ms [redacted] claims, we are unable to provide Ms***'s requested refundWe guarantee that Ms***'s tickets will still be valid for entry on this new dateHowever, if Ms [redacted] is unable to attend this new date, she is welcome to resell her ticketsWe have successfully disputed the claim Ms [redacted] made with her bank and consider this matter closedbut if Ms [redacted] has any other questions or concerns, we welcome her to contact us Thank you, Online City Tickets
Ordered tickets for concert in [redacted] GA and paid for themOnce my tickets were emailed to me they were not for the correct concertIn fact the concert they have me tickets for wasn't even in the U.S where I liveI immediately called after reviewing my tickets and the costumer service literally laughed at my issue and told me they cannot help meSo I'm out of almost $and no ticketsAll I want it the correct ticketsBut they're refusing to make this right
Thank you for getting back to us regarding this issue. We made multiple attempts to reach out to Ms. [redacted] , prior to cancelling her order, regarding the pricing error on her orders but we were unable to reach her. As we have stated in our sales terms and conditions, which she agreed to prior to completing her purchase, pricing errors do occur on rare occasions and as a result we have provided Ms. [redacted] with a refund of both orders. As it currently stands, these orders have been cancelled and we have exhausted all possible resolutions. If Ms. [redacted] wishes to discuss this with our management team she may reach out to us at any time.Regards,Online City Tickets

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Sincerely, Gail [redacted] I still feel tricked into thinking that this was where one goes to buy tickets to Disney on Ice for the Redsch Center in Green Bay Wi When I googled "Disney on Ice Green Bay Wi" this is where I was brought to on the internet Because the tickets were being sold here I thought this was where I was suppose to go and that this was a company that contracted with the Redsch Center to sell their tickets for them I really didn't understand what I was getting myself into I thought the price of $per ticket was expensive but the price of everything has gone up and it has been many years since I went to one of these performances I did not see a breakdown of the actual fees and taxes until after I clicked on "Confirm" and once I realized that theses tickets were now costing me over $for two tickets I did all I could to try to cancel this transaction I contacted Luke, Chris Band Jasmine Rat customer support for this company and they all refused to give me a refund even though I requested one promptly Since I did not understand what this company actually was or how much they were charging until the transaction was completed, I feel I am entitled to a full refund prior to the event They had two weeks to refund me They did not even mail me the tickets Instead they emailed me two informational pages that are suppose to be presented in lieu of the tickets I don't even know if they will be accepted at the event in place of the tickets This has gone all wrong! I am very reluctant to buy anything off the internet again I feel I was deceived and they know it Gail

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/21) */ Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionWe take the customer experience seriously and would like to take the time to address Mr***'s concernsWe should explain that OnlineCityTickets.com is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets--instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellersThis fact is noted on every ticket and checkout page and at the top of our homepage with the statement: "We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue." In the scope of customer satisfaction we have reached out to Mr [redacted] and have come to an amicable resolution, through no fault of our own which we will explain below Mr [redacted] claims he was purchasing tickets directly from the Smith CenterHowever, the above disclaimer and our branding clearly show that we are not affiliated with any venue or other ticket marketplaceAnd, while Mr [redacted] takes issue with the fact that the prices of his tickets exceeded those advertised by the venue, our sales terms clearly state that prices may be above face valueFurthermore, our checkout process gave him multiple opportunities to examine the full details of his order When Mr [redacted] selected tickets and was taken to our checkout page, he was directed to review his itemized order breakdown, which clearly displayed the service and delivery fees, the price per ticket, and the total price in bolded textMr [redacted] was then directed to review our terms and conditions--visible in a text box below this order total--and presented with the bolded message "All sales are final." At this point, he was also presented with the message "I agree to the sales terms and conditionsI have reviewed the Order Summary above," and a check box that he needed to click to continue with checkoutBelow this check-box, another message was displayed which read: "By clicking 'Place Order', your credit card will be charged $485.35, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees." This notice was followed by a button labeled "Place Order." When Mr [redacted] clicked this button, he signified his acknowledgement of the total price and these terms, and completed his order Our sales policies, including our "all sales are final" policy, are disclosed throughout the purchase process--from a notice on every ticket page to a sales terms statement displayed at checkout with the message "All sales are finalAll prices are listed in US Dollars (USD)." Additionally, all sellers on our site are notified as soon as an order for their tickets is placed, which means we are unable to cancel orders or offer refundsAs stated above, because customer satisfaction is important to us, we have reached out to Mr [redacted] and have come to an amicable resolutionIf Mr [redacted] would like to attend another live event in the future, or if he has any questions about an order or our website, we welcome him to reach out to us Thank you, OnlineCityTickets Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (2000, 7, 2015/10/21) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
