Our first experience with Morris-Jenkins: Mike Jr. was out today for a routine system rejuvenation on a 3 year old system. System is fine. Mike Jr. was very professional, personable, patient and thorough. Thank you Mike Jr.

Daniel T serviced our A/C units today and gave us a full appraisal of the equipments condition . I sincerely don"t know how you keep coming up with WINNERS , but we have never been less than completely satisfied with the visit.. Daniel was no exception to the norm, in fact he was EXCEPTIONAL. In addition to servicing our AC, changing air filters, and changing batteries in seven smoke alarms, Adam helped chase two birds which somehow got inside. His help was definitely above and beyond the call of duty.

My bathroom flooded and I needed someone fast. I thought of Morris-Jenkins (MJ), because my grandfather recently had work done with them. I usually go with smaller companies, but I needed someone in a hurry. I called MJ and they had someone at my house in less than a hour. Mr. Everton M was very respectful and knowledgeable. He addressed the toilet and the cause of the problem quickly. I was extremely thankful for the swift action of MJ. I decided to replace the pipe leading to the street. Mr. Will B came out (with another employee) and did the work in the yard. He was very informative and willing to keep me in the loop. I asked a lot of questions and he answered all of them with no hesitation. He made sure I was happy with his work before he left. I'll be sure to recommend MJ to my friends and family, because of the great experiences with Mr. M and Mr. B (and crew). Thank you for your help during my time of need.

Our tech explained in detail everything he recommended as well as the level of service that was being performed. The service tech Matt stated the blower motor and starter needed to be replaced, cost for the blower was $806. The cost of the starter was not discussed, and he could not guarantee that it would fix the problems with the unit. That it could be the compressor $3000 plus. He added the unit was Rusted and leaking r-22 refrigerants that could no longer be purchased. We discussed several other parts that may need replacing, and the unit may need to be replaced due to the age of the unit (his estimate was 18 years old.)
At that time I told him that the totals were close to the cost of a new unit and asked him how much we owed him. My father n law paid the $89 plus tax $6.23 $95.23 in cash. For some reason the tax amount doesn't print out for our records!
I wasn't aware that a company could charge tax on services! Parts yes -service?

The technician quoted to my father n law a total of $13,000.00 to replace the units! This home is less than 1000 sq ft!!

This unit was fixed by replacing $12 part (capacitor) nothing wrong with the blower, it was not leaking refrigerant, there was a small area of discoloration on the lines however nothing was wet. (No leaking!) There was no rust on the unit the pan under the unit is plastic. If the blowers would have needed to be replaced the cost would have been $250 dollars!
