Andrew F came out to our condo and looked our system over. It's an old system, and he and I agreed just putting freon in is not a sensible solution. We decided to install a new and honestly feel this is best long term solution. Feel really confident with Morris Jenkins!

We were having problems with our water heater and did not have hot water. Morris Jenkins made an appointment the same day sending Everton M to check our water heater. Everton was prompt, friendly and professional. He was very patient answering our questions and explaining what steps he was taking. He fixed our water heater and replaced our disposal at our request. He put the plastic covers on his shoes and left everything clean. Thank you Everton for a great job.

I am very impressed and appreciate the customer service at Morris Jenkins. I called about a concern today and received the best service over the phone. Then the same day the technician by the name of Mark N came to my house to service my air-conditioning unit. What a super nice guy and so professional. Called Morris Jenkins on 3/21 to come out and put freon/refrigerant in my AC unit. Ended up with $1400 bill that ended up being unnecessary. ***!
I called Morris Jenkins on 3/21 to come out and put freon/refrigerant in AC unit. This same thing had happened years before and I knew that's all it probably needed. After technician came out and looked at it, we did notice that the fan on unit had fallen off. He also said the motor needed to be replaced. Both of those items he quoted a price of $1330 plus tax, which brought my total bill to $1423.10. He had to order the parts and come back to install on 3/26/20.
On 3/26/20, he came back to install parts and after installing parts to unit, he then told me that unit needed Freon/refrigerant. I have had Freon/refrigerant put in before and am aware that it costs roughly $80-$85 per lb. He quoted me a price of over $500.00 just for Freon/refrigerant. I thought this quote seemed a little too high just for Freon/refrigerant. Even if the price had gone up, something told me this seemed a little much for it to be a such a drastic price increase from what I had previously paid. I told him to hold off on the Freon/refrigerant for a few days. I called another supplier, told him the situation, they came out and looked at the unit...and proceeded to tell me that I did not even need the motor replaced and although I did indeed need a new fan, that the fans are less than $50. They told me that Morris Jenkins just ripped me off.
I am a single mother with only one income in my home. The problem is that they clearly saw a situation that they could easily use to profit for their own benefit because I have no knowledge of knowing what needed to be fixed on my unit until someone experienced looked at it and told me. But when another experienced professional comes out and tell me something totally different and tells me that I just got ripped off, that is upsetting and knowing that this business operates in this manner just to make more money and pocket more commission is beyond kindness, especially in this time that we are going through as a nation with a global pandemic with people being out of work and losing their jobs. I expect this to be looked into, and I am requesting a refund!!
I was ripped off by Morris Jenkins. I didn't need a new motor and was highly over-charged for the fan that needed to be replaced and have been told how much the fan for my unit really costs by another experiened technician. I expect a full refund!!

One of our Service Supervisors reached out to the customer and discussed the situation with her. We are refunding her $831 for the fan motor. The customer indicated she was happy with that resolution.
The refund request has been submitted to our Accounting office. Please allow 5-7 business days to see the funds applied to her credit card.

Shaun H was our technician. We did all transactions on the phone so that he would not contaminate us or us him. He was very professional as we have experienced with Morris Jenkins employees. Have been one of their customers for years. Also a plumbing customer.

I will only ever use Morris Jenkins for anything plumbing or HVAC related because of the first experience I had with them. I've been without gas for about a week (gas furnace, hot water heater, and fireplace) because of a complicated situation with the gas company involving a leak. The plumber, Rich, came out and assessed the leak quickly, went above and beyond to get it fixed, and again above and beyond to work with the gas company to get it turned back on. He was also very knowledgeable and punctual (gave me a call to let me know it would be 20 until he arrived, and arrived exactly 20 minutes after). I also had an HVAC tech (Barry), who obviously knew what he was doing/also gave great advice, to come out and fix the furnace the same night (at about 10pm) - which shows that they have great availability for people who need late appointments or emergency services. There have been a lot of issues with this house I just bought, but I trust that Morris Jenkins will get it done right. It's hard to find an honest contractor company that want to do right, but Morris Jenkins is IT!!!! Give them your money, they're worth it!
